I have used this shop three times on my old girlfriend's 1991 Yamaha Radian. I first found them…read moreafter Daytona said they prefer NOT to work on older bikes, not even their own (what the hell??). The Radian was rough starting and idling badly and had not been winterized properly (she was really slack at maintenance before I took over). They cleaned , rejetted and adjusted the carbs and it ran like a dream afterwards. We also had chain and sprockets replaced there and she said it rode so smoothly it felt like a new bike. And lastly for her birthday I sprung for some new tires and while the wheels were off the re-did the fork seals. All the work has been top notch and fairly priced and they really seem great with older bikes. We also had difficult schedules to get in there and they were totally accommodating. We dropped the bike off after we were both off after work at midnight and put the key through their mail slot. When the work was done we paid by credit card over the phone, they put the key under the seat and we picked it up after hours with her spare key. They were also cool with installing the tires even though we had bought them on sale from Fortnine.ca. I will be going back to them with my 2015 Yamaha FJ-09 for tires shortly and likely new chain and sprockets too. I only wish they were a little off the beaten path, as I will have a bit of a transit trek after I drop off my bike, but if you have someone to give you a ride home and back that's a non-issue.

My youngest kid recently moved back in with me after graduating from university far away, and…read morebetween the two of us, we've been juggling usage of my car. She had been saving up her money for a long time for a motorcycle (I have no idea how she initially hooked onto the idea of having one, as no-one in our family ever owned one or even contemplated having one. She is quite the black sheep in our family!), and this would be, by far, the biggest purchase of her life so far. As a parent, I gotta say, I wasn't thrilled, but I try to be supportive. She did a lot of research, looking into slightly used bikes, even checking some out and negotiating prices in Langley and beyond. She went to a motorcycle driving school and passed exams. She got the licenses. She called her bank to make sure all her ducks were lined up. And then she decided to check out a particular bike at this Honda dealership. And I was SO glad she did. Jason there was incredibly patient, answering all her questions (and mine). He and Derek were extremely knowledgable about the process of getting a motorcycle, the best ones to have as a new driver, all the details about the various bike models, etc. There was no pressure at all to buy any bike there and, after my kid fell in love with this particular bike, there was no pressure at all to purchase any additional warranties or insurances. I really appreciated how Jason said that my kid could always call or swing by if she had any questions at all about the bike or riding in general, and they there at the dealership would always be an available resource to her. As a parent, I couldn't have been more impressed. This, along with the bike's year-long warranty and the fact that it's a Honda, really provided me with a lot of peace of mind. Even though we live close to the dealership here, Jason acknowledged that it would be a bit scary for my kid to drive the motorcycle back (she's a spanking new driver!), so he offered to transport it in his truck, to our condo. Wow, so so nice. That was a HUGE help and relief, to my kid and me! The ICBC lady who came to the dealership to sign up my kid for motorcycle insurance and assign her a new MC license plate for the new bike was very patient and helpful, too. (How great, to have access to an insurance rep on site, eh? My kid didn't have to go to an ICBC office and return. Very convenient). And the bike she got is PERFECT for her, in every way. And she is elated with it. I've never seen her happier, TBH. I gotta thank Jason and Derek for making this whole experience so positive.

CAUTION: to anyone looking to get their bikes serviced here. A mistake on their end regarding the…read morecorrect size battery for my bike resulted in unnecessary back & forth between the shop. Was ensured over the phone, while waiting for an oil change, that going with their in store battery would be a better option than a factory activated battery. I find out about 30 mins to close they didn't identify the correct size therefore the appropriate battery would need charging. Option was to let it charge over the weekend or leave with a 40% charged battery. When I came back I voiced my concern about how this situation unfolded and asked if they could remedy this somehow. The lady behind the parts counter was not only rude but unwilling to recognize a mistake on the shop's part shouldn't fall on the costumer. In the end, best she could do was a 10% discount on my next oil change (discount doesn't even account for Ubers or time off work). This individual lacks customer service, manners and paints the rest of the staff in a bad light. Keep your piece of mind and take your money elsewhere.

She told me, "ok, so you're gonna take an uber home now." I said yup, and I asked when it'll be done and she said should be done early next week (I took it in on a Friday). It's now a month later (had to call to get updates as they weren't notifying me about anything) and I get the bike home after costing me $817.23 for what I now know is a steering bearing replacement and not a front wheel bearing replacement which is what I thought they were doing because they simply didn't explain it to me. I get home, look at my front brakes and was confused because they look great. I took some photos (attached) and called the service department, emailed them the photos and turns out my front brakes are great and the service guy lied in his assessment saying they have 1mm left and need placing now. The email guy called back and said I don't know what the service man was talking about and said, "you're good, they have about 4mm left on them still, so no, they don't need replacing, I'll ask the mechanic what we was getting at later." End of story, I will NEVER take my bike there again for repair... even though the service guy David is great. Not a happy customer to say the least, especially seeing as how my motorbike is my only source of travel for work (they were aware of) and I lost out on a lot of work because of their poor communication skills and straight up deceit. Just a heads up! Don't trust what they tell you. Ps, wobble is STILL there, less so than before, but common guys, I'm just speechless right now.
