Eagles Tribute band, need I say more? I wish they would've played Lyin' Eyes but other than that they were great!

Apple & Walnut Salad. Yummy dressing. So filling. I was determined to finish this plate full.

Great lunch time visit at Hon-Dah Casino & Resort. Walked the casino floor, so many gaming options. Visited the resort gift shop. Some walking before our lunch in the restaurant. Patience is key when waiting for service. Staff are pleasant & the food is delicious.

I really like Hondah Casino. It's one of my favorite casinos. The employees and service are great and the atmosphere is cool. The food and service at the restaurant is also great. I definitely recommend this casino.

I just wanted to say THANKS to the Hon Dah casino for providing a free buffet lunch to all veterans and their "plus one" for Veterans Day.

My Husband and I made a quick weekend trip to Pinetop on a whim and chose to stay here based on the…read morereviews. We were not disappointed. Everything from the staff at check-in, maintenance staff we encountered on the grounds, the facilities etc. all exceeded expectations. There are 3 Jacuzzis on site, which was one of the main reasons we chose to stay here. There is one at the back of the complex, which is covered and is the LARGEST hot tub we have ever been in. Everything was well kept, manicured, clean and well thought out. The room we stayed in was the studio with Murphy bed. At first I was skeptical when my Husband booked it however it was SPACIOUS for a studio and the layout allows a ton of natural light, they even leave a "welcome" basket, which was a great touch! Every single room here will have a view of the woods, so you won't ever be disappointed! The only downside I can see is that there is no A/C, and while it is the Mountains, it still gets hot in the summer. I would not stay here during the Summer when temps reach almost 100.

We checked in with our 2 bedroom confirmation paper, trudged Upstairs carrying 4 luggage, looking for 2 bedrooms and to my surprise seeing only 1 bedroom!!! What!! The check-in clerk did not say any word about a 1 bedroom at all! I had to call Wyndham to which they informed me "an agent" canceled our 2 bedroom and we were notified by email. We were not!!! What if we had other people traveling with us? No apologies were made at all! And the toilet paper was cheaper than an outhouse! And they call themselves Worldmark?! Their water was horrible, made me itch from linen and showers.

This! Look no further than the La Posada. The grounds are…read morestunning. The hotel is filled with beautiful artwork and history. There is a bar and restaurant at the hotel and both are fantastic. There is NO elevator. You have to schlep your bags, all of them, to the 2nd floor. We are not young people, it was not an easy trek. There is no help. The rooms are lovely. Spacious bathrooms, blow dryers, comfy mattress and lots of pillows. There is a train immediately behind the hotel that runs pretty much non stop, day and night. We opted to sleep with the windows open to enjoy the gorgeous weather. At around 10 pm a train blasted the horn and scared me death (hub slept through it lol). After that just the rails, no horn. We will always stay at the La Posada. We will plan in advance for a ground floor room.

This is a very interesting historic hotel located right on the train line. Apparently, this…read morebuilding was once one of the Fred Harvey Houses built along the railroad line. It was also designed by a female architect, something that was not common at all at that time (or even now, sadly). Lots of movie stars and even presidents have stayed here and the property has a long, interesting history, you can read about. At present, there is a literal train stop at the back of the hotel, just about 100 feet away. Really. If train noises at all hours--and I do mean at ALL hours--bothers you, make sure you specifically ask for a room far, far away from the train tracks. We were about mid-way from the tracks and could hear trains all night long. Yes, each room has ear plugs but not everyone wants to wear those things. The hotel has a very nice looking restaurant and bar (and they do have a happy hour) and the bar doubles as a coffee house in the morning, which is smart business. We didn't eat at the restaurant, mostly because the dinner prices were off the charts, although I would have liked to have done so. The lunch prices seem more reasonable. The property itself has a beautiful courtyard and a large room they call a "ballroom" and lots of spaces for exploring. They also have many free board games set about which you can use. At the back of the property, facing the train stop, there are chairs set about if you want to relax and/or watch the trains. Apparently, there are roving skunks, too, so keep that in mind. Personally, I would have liked to have seen a wild skunk or two (are there any domesticated skunks?). Our room was delightful. The entire property has a Southwestern theme and decor. During our visit, they had some absolutely wild art hung about here there and everywhere. Perhaps this art is up permanently. I love art but some of it, apart from just being on the weird side, was also somewhat political and, frankly, I think distracted from the beauty of this place. I would stay here again...but only if I was located far, far from the trains at night.

There are 2 areas to fish from. They have a Jon Boat, peddle boat, and kayaks that are available for free on a first come/first served basis but only during office hours 9-4pm. There is a bigger boat for rent but it was broken. There were lots of trees and shade which we liked. We stayed in the Ash cabin. It was not great. It is old. The "comfort zones" which we later found out were heaters were on and set to 80° when we arrived. It was very warm inside when we arrived and we didn't figure out until too late that we were turning the heaters down to cool things off not off. There were no manuals to help instruct us on temperature control and we had to text the after hours number to get help. It took 2+ days to cool this place down. They encouraged us to open windows at night but not many of the windows (none upstairs) had screens. There is no cooling unit upstairs but they brought us some box fans which didn't help much. The plumbing upstairs was slow and had to be snaked because the sink wouldn't drain. Fridge took some time to cool down but then worked fine. Couches are worn and you sink down into them. We read that every cabin has a fireplace but ours didn't which was disappointing. There was 1 smart tv. We tried to log into Disney but someone else was already logged in. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but then the TV needed a pin that we didn't have. WiFi worked well. The kitchen was clean and had what we needed. The blinds are dusty. We probably wouldn't stay here again unless there were some significant updates.
