Rooms are clean and housekeeping is REALLY on top of things. They were trying to get in my room to clean almost every day. I'm not a fan of having it done that often, but I'm sure some would rejoice. It's hard to get your room freshened up in most places even when you ask. The one downside is that the breakfast was a bit subpar compared to other home2's I've visited. They had all the same staples, but there's usually a standard of freshness that I've come to expect. A lot of the breakfast sandwiches and such seemed almost recycled, like they had been taken off the rack and reheated multiple days in a row. Same goes for the breakfast bowls, on top of just being a bit bland and tasteless.

The shower had hair in it, the water never got warmer than lukewarm, the shower gel dispenser was empty, and there was an obvious spill on the floor next to the bed that hadn't been cleaned. To make matters worse, the front desk clerk would only speak to my husband and completely ignored me, even though I was asking the questions. I found that incredibly rude and unprofessional. We've decided we won't be staying here again. We'll be taking our business to the DoubleTree near the Marketplace instead. This experience was so disappointing that we're checking out early and driving home rather than spending another night here.

This guy charged us extra and put us in a room with no bathtub I can handle all the things except for how extremely rude he was!! He didn't smile, didn't welcome us in and put us on a room all the wash at the end of the hall, when the vacancy was very high. The pool outside is also beautiful with an outdoor bar, and appears to be two jacuzzis. The restaurant has a decent amount of seating with a covered outdoor patio. IF and a big if, you want the cookie for every person at arrival, ensure that everyone checks in together. It's only provided to the guest at check-in. Coffee and tea are complimentary while water bottles in the room are $3 per bottle unless booked through Hilton as a member. The room is spacious and the window has a two-set shade for lighting control instead of curtains. It comes equipped with a smart TV that can be hooked up to services like Netflix, Apple TV and more. If your stay is short, five days or less, and do not require housekeeping, it's best to forego the service. Trash can be easily left outside of the room or brought to the bins by the parking areas. We returned to our room on the third day, after skipping service on the second day, with fresh towels even though the towels were hung. The bed was made although with not so fresh sheets. You can most certainly tell it wasn't. It wasn't dirty to begin with, but it would've been nice to have gotten fresh sheets. The concierge staff continued to be warm and courteous at checkout as well. I won't mind staying here again.

After driving 6 hours from San Diego, I went to the front desk to get extra keys and ask questions. I was greeted with a sign that read something like "we have stepped away from the desk but will return soon...." So I waited about 5 minutes and nobody came. There was no bell to ring or anyway to get attention. Then I noticed someone in the office wearing AirPods and on their phone. I walked closer so they could see me out of the corner of their eye and they came out and greeted me. She was very friendly which was nice, and I get that it was late but I feel like she could have been more aware of people coming to the desk, and maybe that someone leave a note letting her know there would be guests arriving late. We got to our room and it was nice and clean. The beds were comfy and we slept. The next day we went to breakfast and the chef was very accommodating for my daughter who has celiac. They made a fresh gluten free omelet for her on a clean pan. As we were getting ready to go out for the day, I went to get some ice and as I walking into the hall I noticed a maid with a clipboard. I told her I would like to have our room made up while we were gone for the day and asked if I should remove our dnd sign now, or wait until we left. She said "wait until you leave, we'll be sure to make up your room". We left around 12:30 and returned around 10:30pm. We came back to our room and it was not serviced at all. I called down to the front desk and asked to have towels brought up. I was told we had to come down to the desk to get them because they didn't have anyone to bring them up. The next day as we were departing around 8am, my daughter and I went down to the lobby to get Starbucks for the road. It was not open. With a sign right in front the read, open daily 6:00am... Then the front desk lady walked over apologetically and informed us that the Starbucks would not be open but if we wanted just a regular coffee they could take care of us at the restaurant. I said no... she apologized again. 1. If you are expecting guests arriving late. Be ready for them when they arrive. 2. If a guests specifically asks you to have their room made up and you assure them it will, then follow through and make sure that happens 3. Hire someone to make room runs, you're a Hilton not a motel 6 4. If you're going to have a Starbucks in your lobby, make sure you have people to run it. Or remove the sign that says Open daily.

He said I should notify the hotel for future guests. I called and confirmed we did not need a code for the medical discount. (We needed the code at a diff hotel in Scottsdale.) When we checked in, I verified we were there for medical reasons and asked what the rate was. He said we would get it at checkout. I have never stayed in a hotel that would not tell me the rate upfront. He ran my CC, but said it would not be charged until we checked out. (I did not prepay) Upon check out, the GM, Tammy would not honor the medical discount. She said because I made the reservation via Expedia, she could not give me the discount (even though I called ahead, and was told when we checked in that we would be on a medical discount rate). Luckily it was only a 3-night stay - but I was mad enough with just those days being at a higher rate. House keeping did not clean our room on the scheduled day. Although we will need to return in 6 months, location is perfect - close to medical facility and restaurants... We will never return to this hotel.

I have not stayed at a Holiday Inn since i was a kid but what a pleasant stay we had ! We came…read moreto town to attend two family events a 40th birthday and a funeral& life celebration for a young man who lost his battle with brain cancer . The trip from LA was treacherous as we ran into a dust storm which kept us at a stand still on the 10 freeway for about 2 1/2 hours . We arrived totally exhausted about 9pm but was greeted by the friendly front desk staff & check in was a breeze . We didn't get to use the pool or hot tub (which I needed) because some kids a few days before kept turning off the emergency switch and the hotel has to drain & refill the pool as it turned green. Pool was ready on Thursday afternoon but we were in the thick of events by then so no pool for us. Room choices were slim so we had a standard king. Several things play a part in the scarcity of hotel rooms and pricing, typically AZ is another spring break hot spot and with several baseball grapefruit league games , there was a lacrosse tournament in town add snowbird season and cha ching 3 star hotels as expensive as 5 on a normal day. getting a choice room was quite difficult. This hotel was immaculately clean. I can't say if the dust on my feet was from the overall atmosphere of the dusty desert or the carpet was dirty but i'll lean on the atmospheric situation since every other portion of our stay was perfect and clean!! Did not find any strange hairs in the bed, bathroom or even on the carpet . Amazingly, the bed was super comfortable - firm/hard as a rock just like i like it ! No aches and pains. Pillows are king size and they give you 4 per room. There are several barriers on the bed which I will assume is to protect from any type of infestation in the mattress so rest well here , no bed bugs or other creepy crawlers anywhere in the room. The shower is walk in and quite ample , water pressure was good on 3rd floor but the shower head was lame and took a few rinses even with my short hair to get conditioner out. The AC/heat thermostat was easy to maneuver and easy to regulate the room temp. No balconies and the windows do not open. The black out curtains can be a little wonky but we fixed them ourselves as they kept derailing (maintence check room 338) We did notice an exhaust fan in the bathroom ceiling but there wasn't a switch to turn it on ? The hotel furnishes a makeup wipe, dove bar soap and BBBodyworks brand of body wash, shampoo & conditioner . The shampoo pump was broken in room 338 so you might have housekeeping check this out. In the closet there is a small safe , An Iron, ironing board , microwave, kurig coffee maker (so bring your own pods if you please) generous fridge that even kept our ice packs frozen through a 3 night stay. Just remember to turn the fridge up when you arrive . This is a great business hotel . I believe we saw at least 4 computers in private lobby area our room had more USB plugs and outlets that I've not seen at any other hotel. We generally travel with an extra power strip . You won't need it here there are at least 6 USB plugs . Maintenance should Check the nightstand USB on left side of bed as previous guests forced/ pushed the connector in on a slant so we couldn't use those . The included breakfast includes just about anything you could want , two flavors of yogurt , 3 types of cold cereal . hot oatmeal (yummy) with brown sugar cranberries and pecans to add in. Hot cinnamon rolls, make your own pancakes and cheese and veggie mini omelets . there were 3/4 choices of juices and each day the meat selection was either turkey patties and bacon or TP and pork sausage links . They bacon and the pork links were so yummy ! our last day they offers biscuits but they were like rocks and didn't offer gravy so not sure what that point was . Coffee & tea is 24 hours . Breakfast buffet hours differ weekdays/weekends so check the times i believe it was 9:30 weekdays & 10:00 weekends . This was close to our family and had several conveniences close by so we will definitely return to this hotel next time we stay in Mesa area.

Clean hotel with tasty breakfast items…read more The location wasn't close to any attractions but it was nearby restaurants, fast food chains, and a grocery store. There was also a small shop at the entrance selling snacks and chargers. Check-in was a bit slow as they had difficulty finding my reservation. However, the receptionists were always kind and helpful. The 2 queen bed room was spacious and included a microwave, mini fridge, coffee machine, hangers, and an iron. The bathroom had communal soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. There was a note on the sink stating that other toiletries were also available upon request. I wished there was more toilet paper was included as there was only one extra roll. There was a sufficient number of towels for the sink and shower. However, I found the shower to be difficult to start as the shower pin was stuck. The shower knob was also labeled backwards as the "H" was on the side of cold water instead of hot. The bed and pillows were soft and supported. The bedsheets were clean but could have been thicker. I enjoyed the easy access to outlets and lighting from the convenience of my bed. The TV was large and there was a decent number of channels available. Breakfast was simple yet executed well. The omelets were light and fluffy. Potatoes weren't always served but it was a good day when they were. Everything was seasoned and cooked well. Sausages were juicy and bacon was crispy. There was also fruit juices and coffee available. Other items included cinnamon rolls, cereal, oatmeal, and made to order pancakes. I would have loved healthier items like fresh fruit but the spread was more than sufficient for me. Although others enjoy actual dishware, the disposable plates and utensils made it easy to eat on the go. Would stay here again when visiting Mesa or Gilbert. Clean and priced appropriately and still one of my favorite breakfast options.
