Horrible, horrible horrible. Worst experience in my life. Firstly, they changed my hotel when I tried to change a reservation from 1 night to 2. This hotel is totally behind the Hyatt and it is impossible to find in the dark. One has to drive completely around in the Hyatt parking lot to find it and then I drove by it three times because ALL of the lights are turned off and NO HOTEL SIGN. Personnel are notary and unhelpful and mean. My key would not work and the hotel clerk said I was an idiot because I wasn't holding g the key right. Duh, big man it didn't work for u either so he had to recharge the key 3 times to get it to work. And to boot I'm a paraplegic trying to enter from a side door wafted going 1/4 mile down and up a tortuous pathway to even get to the door in the first place. Avoid, avoid avoid. read more

As much as I hate to write reviews, I think it is warranted this time considering who was causing the issue and how it was ignored by the office manager, James (or Jamie?). I've stayed at this hotel many many times before, always checking in the same way, but this time I encounter a shift manager by the name of Sol who refused to check me in even though my name was on the reservation. She refused to help me check in at first and flat out ignored me by picking up the phone while I was trying to explain to her my situation. Luckily her employee was helpful enough and I was able to check. When I went back down to grab my stuff, I overheard her talking to other clients about me and honestly I don't even know if that was the worst part. When I tried to talk to the office manager, he didn't even consider my situation and instead was trying to lecture me on their policy even though I had stayed there multiple times before and have always checked-in the same way I was doing then. While that is the reason that the situation occurred, it was more about the way it was handled than anything. Everything could have been easily avoided if Sol would just tried to help me figure out my situation from the beginning instead of arguing with me. It was absolutely unnecessary, and so was James' little lecture. Even now, I can guarantee you they learned nothing of this encounter. You should've of heard how proud James was to tell me how I should consider staying at other brands if I don't like the way they do things... Very disturbing to think that these two people are the ones in charge of a department who is centered around customer service. As someone who has worked in hospitality for many years, I cannot believe the arrogance that was shown by these people. If you chose to stay there, good luck and I hope you don't have any issues with your reservation because based on my experience, these two probably won't be very helpful. read more

My family and I were visiting a friend in Queens Creek Arizona. Hampton Inn & Suites Phoenix/Gilbert was one of the closet hotels in the area, approximately 20 minutes out. The 210 highway is right next to the hotel. There is ample amount of parking available. Through the Hilton mobile application, we were able to check-in to the hotel in advanced and pick out the hotel room. It was a pretty seamless process. The digital key wasn't working so my family and I did go to the front desk, hotel registration, requesting for physical keys. Our stay was from a Wednesday evening until Saturday morning. The Hampton Inn & Suites Phoenix/Gilbert had several on-site amenities. -Free hot breakfast (during our stay, the hours were from 6:00 A.M - 9:00 A.M) -Free Parking -Free WiFi -Outdoor Pool -Fitness Center -Pet-friendly rooms -Business Center -Meeting Rooms You have to request for cleaning services. We opted to use the text message system for towels or additional room items such as soaps. Unfortunately, we tried using the text message system 3 times during our stay. 2 out of the three times, no one came to our room and the 3rd time, someone came to our room to provide towels over 4 hours later. My family and I found it easier just to go to the front desk, asking for additional towels. The room was spacious. We had a king bed with a sleeper sofa. The bathroom included a bathtub and shower unit. There is a refrigerator and a microwave in the room. The room also includes a office desk and a TV. The hotel stay wasn't too expensive either. The free hot breakfast was one of the best parts of the stay. The food was pretty decent with a waffle maker, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, breads and much more! Overall, our stay was pleasant here, but I'd try out another Hilton hotel in the area next time. read more

In process of remodeling which wasn't an issue. I was given an upgraded room. I could tell that the room was remodeled, however the swamp cooler in the room didn't get cool and was very loud and woke me up several times. I was given a room that ran parallel with the 202 and you can hear the freeway traffic. The ice machine was out of service. There is no makeup mirror available. First and foremost, do not bother with the 20% off Yelp check in offer. Staff claims they have never seen it, have no idea how to use it, and state that it "isn't their offer." I find this unlikely and suspicious given that a corporate account funds this offer and responds to reviews here. Maybe they're just slacking on training, who knows, but it was an unfortunate start to our stay. Otherwise, the property was clean and the staff were friendly. Amenities include pool/hot tub (open 7am-10pm), basic fitness room (2 treadmills, a bike, and an elliptical), and free hot breakfast from 6-10AM (includes pastries, eggs, waffle station, fruit). This wasn't our first choice of hotel, but there must have been some event going on this weekend because several other options were unavailable. $200/night is not a price I would typically expect or find reasonable here. If they'd honored their advertised discount, it would have been more appropriate pricing. read more

Our stay was three nights in March 2023. We booked the double queen room. It was a typical size for this type of room. It had a dresser, desk with chair, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The room was clean and pretty good condition overall. We had only one issue with a wall light that constantly flickered so we had to keep it turned off. The room also had an iron and full-size ironing board (that really could use some padding but was usable), and a blow dryer. We were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub the first night. The pool area was clean and there were plenty of towels. We tried to enjoy the pool area our last night there but while we were there, people from the neighboring hotel came and took over with a ton of people. The first group - a man lifted a child over the back fence so he could open the locked gate (a room key is needed for access) and let everyone in. They then let everyone else in and just filled the pool area to the point it was no longer an enjoyable place to be. Very loud and chaotic. The front desk was informed of what was going on and it appeared they tried to address the issue, but it didn't seem very successful. The next morning, the pool area was a complete mess. It was frustrating because we chose this hotel largely in part because of the pool and hot tub but felt pushed out by people who were not even guests at the hotel. The hotel overall was good, the staff was friendly and helpful, but the nightly rate we paid was ridiculous. We pay less for a nice room on the Vegas strip than what we paid for this hotel. Unfortunately, we were under a time crunch and could not take as much time researching for better priced options. We would only choose this hotel again if the room rate is more appropriately set for this type of hotel. read more

Extremely expensive for an average hotel. I guess it's the area?! But I'm not really familiar with all that's around here. Service was pleasant. Pool was nice besides inconsiderate guests but that's not the hotels fault. Room was nice, really enjoy cozy chairs. The walls are very thin and those doors are heavy, so all those guests slamming their doors in the middle of the night will most likely wake you up. Found hair in bathroom that wasn't ours, kinda gross but those things happen. And a gummy bear under a chair that didn't come from us, so clearly didn't vacuum well. I probably wouldn't stay at this location again for these prices. read more

My family and I booked the Hotel from January 26, 2023 through January 29,2023. On January 26 at about 5am my husband woke me you and had several bites on his back and arms. After turning the lights on and moving the pillow we found a bug that turned out to be a bed bug. . We then work up my daughters and also found a bed bug in there bed As well. We asked to check out and asked for a full refund. It's been over a month and we still haven't received a refund and to top it off due to the Hotel policy they will not refund me the full amount, yet they were the ones with Bed Bugs. This location has the worst manager. She's rude and has no empathy for the guest and what they me being going through. We checked in Friday evening from our AC being out for 3 days. Extremely exhausted and we just need a cool place to rest. My family checked in with our fur dog. No mention of a dog fee. As I checked out the manager says you owe us 75.00 for the dog. I was like what? Yes that's a bill you have to now. I said I'm sorry but I wasn't aware of this, well I've text the night person this and should of charged you. Then took the fee added it to my credit card. Went back with my husband and she was giving us story how people bring in with out telling us. That's our fault- we are being treated harsh by demanding the fee and your the manager.. I will never go back to this place, the manager is rude, harsh, doesn't care and is clearly not able to provide customer service in appropriate matter. I was super pleased with my stay after calling the Quality Inn and being hung up on and a couple other hotels were booked at 1am. Tiffani was a delight to deal with. The other hotels I called had miserable sounding and completely rude receptionists so it was nice to finally deal with someone friendly. The room was clean. Bathroom was a decent size. Coffee in the room. Mini fridge. Microwave. Quick check in. I was cozy and comfortable all night I didn't even want to get out of the bed in the morning. If there were negative stars this is the place! Got bitten by something in bed reported it to the staff. They could not do anything because the GM was not in. Since they did not find bed bugs it was a none issue. Not to mention they are in the middle of a renovation. Wires hanging out of the AC in the room, the shower creaked when you moved and felt as if you would fall through the floor. Hampton Inn is usually a nice place. Hubby and I had to stay in area for a funeral. Not knowing area or where to stay we close this hotel. It was the best decision I could have made. Check it in was very easy and Michelle was great! She was very kind and informative. We ended up staying an additional night and she was able to keep us in the same room. Room was very nice, more than I expected. It had a lovely little balcony, with a table and two chairs. We brought up the free breakfast of eggs, potatoes, sausage, fruit and coffee. Sat on our balcony and enjoyed breakfast. For dinners we did take out and again ate outside, enjoying the balmy summer night. Checkout was very easy and Sandy was very nice and friendly. The Hotel is clean. But the walls are very thin. A group of very loud kids baseball team and families were here very loud and rude. Running the halls banging on the doors. Yelling and screaming. Room. The tv didn't work correctly had to call twice. Although they were very prompt it was still a frustration. No hot breakfast only minimal cold breakfast. Ran out of toilet paper and tissue had to call twice for more to be brought up. Balcony had cigarette ashes on the table. Near the no smoking sign! Room is dimly lit with lighting As a Hilton honors member water and cookies were supposed to be in the room. Nothing was in the room. They said I could pick it up if I wanted it. Any where I go, I'm always staying at the Hampton-Inn. It's sometimes a pinch more on the budget, but well worth it. COVID19 is a top priority, some Hamptons go the extra extra mile with Covid precautions which is a little extreme, but some folks like that. I just want a clean room and accountability from the service workers that say they sanitized the room. And Here they leave that seal on the door saying welcome to a safe, clean room. The check in took time as the system was updating, but while that was going on, they gave us our room key so we don't have to stand there like cattle. Lobby was clean, hand stations everywhere, hallways clean and nice smell- like peaches... We were staying at the Hyatt in Gilbert (right behind here) but after many disappointments we checked out and luckily got a room here. Whew!!! The last one. This hotel no matter where you stay is worth it- especially when the buffet is back, but for now it's continental in a grab bag. A few key things for on the go. They do have a late night snack area that's always stocked! Especially ice cream.. and beer! But it's a pinch more expensive. Not a bad place, but there are better around this area that are comparable in price. Staff was always very friendly, curtious, and helpful. Lobby was nice, and breakfast was good. Also have a nice little corner with drinks, snacks, and medicine for purchase. Biggest complaint wold be with quality of room. The chairs were stained, and the bathrooms were dated. The room is also a lot smaller than advertised in photos. This is also the first Hilton brand hotel that did not really make me feel special for having Hhonors status with them. I didn't recieve any perks that I normally do. However, big shout out to Nicole at the front desk who went out of her way to get my son milk for the night. Also, the manager kept text me saying: "We love having you here and want to make sure your "Happy" Please if we can do anything let us know and we will make it happen. I called around 9:00 PM to get a last minute room and spoke with front desk manager Janet! She was very nice and helped set up a room. I was there in 10 minutes and was greeted at the front again by Janet who quickly got me my keys and was very nice and remembered our phone call. This morning I go to get the breakfast that is fantastic and am greeted Janet once again and she was so nice and asked how my stay was. She really made the whole, "last minute 1 night experience" the best. Janet deserves nothing but praise as she was seriously the sweetest lady I have met!!! My husband and I stayed here in early March. We had originally planned to stay in Scottsdale area on this trip but due to baseball Spring Training the rooms in that area were around $300. We also don't like how crowded it is there at that time of year. So we ventured out and came across this hotel for $130 a night. The Good: *The hotel is new so it was EXTREMELY clean. *The King bed was VERY comfy. *This hotel seems to cater to the business class so we had the pool to ourselves for 3 days during the week. *The Continental breakfast was "the usual" but not bad for the quick bite. *The staff was ABOVE exceptional in their customer service. (We needed help with faxing docs that we were having issues with and the gentleman working was very helpful and patient with us. The only consideration: *The location. We did not mind because we had a rental car and it was only a 10 minute drive to San Tan Village, downtown Chandler and other shopping and dining areas. There just isn't anything within walking distance to the hotel if you want to go out for a bite to eat and don't have wheels. BUT it does look like they are building in this area. Stayed there this weekend, and within minutes felt something crawling on my neck. As I looked closer, found a bug. As I continued to look, found a second one. Looked it up, and yep, common bed bugs. Caught then in a cup and took them to the front desk night clerk. He apologized and put my family in a different room. That room was in better shape for sure, and of course, I checked as best I could to ensure no more bugs. I text the manager to inform him of the issue, and he said sorry. The staff was friendly, which is why I am ok with the 1 star. He also offered a discount on our stay, which I was initially appreciative of. Well, as I received my emailed receipt, there wasn't a discount. I text them to give them a heads up, and they said it wasn't my official receipt. I received the discount shortly after, which was a 15 dollar per day discount. Is it me, or does that feel like an insult? Suffice to say, I will NEVER stay there again. Would not recommend making a booking with this hotel. Went through a third party vendor for my company and made two separate hotel reservations. Realizing my error that one reservation was made for the wrong time frame, I was directed via the third party vendor to speak with the hotel management about the reservation due to the hotel's strict change policy. Spoke with Jamey at the hotel less than an hour after the reservation was placed and despite the reservation being a month out (requested the reservation be changed to July 22-23, 2017), I was advised that there was nothing he could do about changing the reservation. I can understand a reservation not being changed 24-48 hours in advance, but not allowing a change on a reservation a month in advance and calling within an hour of making the reservation is completely mind numbing to me. This wasn't even a cancellation request, it was a date change request. Poor customer service and would not even close to representing the Hilton brand of hotels. I will be taking my business to Marriott from now on. read more

Stayed here a few months ago, the staff was so welcoming and helpful! They texted me and let me know if I needed ANYTHING, they would accommodate. Each day of my stay they would check up and make sure everything was okay. The breakfast was AMAZING! Every morning it was something different with lots of options. I was able to easily check in early and check out late, I'd say the only downfall here is the rooms being dirty, hair all over the room and especially the restroom, nothing seemed to be wiped down, everything seemed greasy and sticky, and the pool was pretty dirty.
