I've stayed here before and both times have been a great stay. Rooms clean, staff friendly.

We usually enjoy staying at Hyatt properties because we've consistently had great experiences, so we were looking forward to this stay. Overall, this location was good, but it could definitely use some updates. The bathrooms felt a bit outdated, and the layout was a little awkward. The bathroom door swings open so close to the toilet that it comes within about an inch of hitting it when closing. I think a sliding door would be a much better use of the space and make the bathroom feel more functional. I also wasn't a fan of the shower, as it didn't look as clean or well-maintained as we're used to seeing at other Hyatt locations. Unfortunately, our comforter also had stains on it when we arrived. That said, the outstanding customer service made a big difference. Staff and housekeepers were nice and friendly. Shout out to Julio at the front desk who was exceptional! He was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. After I called about the stained comforter, he personally brought us a fresh one right away since housekeeping had already left for the day. That level of attentiveness and willingness to help was greatly appreciated. Hyatt is lucky to have Julio on their team. He truly turned what could have been a disappointing stay into a much better experience. While the property itself could benefit from some upgrades, employees like Julio are what make guests want to come back. read more

Hotel building is old no up keep. Walked in room carpet immediately notice was dirty not vacuumed in some time. Fuzz and hair all over floor. Walked in bathroom and toilet not working handle broken off. Had lift lid and pull string to flush. Went to front desk to let someone know of issues lady did not give any interest on complaints. She said no maintenance at this time it was 7PM!! Ice maker machine is rotting away in the corner leaking all over. Halls are dark light bulbs out. Definitely no one cares if this place. read more

The rooms are dated and need a refresh. The bathroom has very little light and the shower/tub is extremly old. The vanity is outside the toilet and tub area but ontop of carpet. The only non carpet area in the room is the tub/toilet area. The carpet is very worn and dirty. It had stains all over it thru out the room. The closet is small and the iron cady is coming off the wall. We stayed her a total of 6 nights/7 days and only had housekeeping come 1 time despite our repeated request to the front desk. We had to obtain our own toilet paper and towels from the front desk. The front desk said the same repeat story ea day that the housekeeping request was noted and they would come that day or the next. This was never the case as they only came on day 4 of our 7 day stay. When they did come they did not restock the room or take the dishes from room service. The tv stand is full of thick dust and the corners of the room is also full of dust and dirt. The carpet base is coming off in several spots in the room and the furniture is in need of repairs/replacement. We can not recommend this Hyatt nor would we stay here again. read more

My wife and I needed a place to stay for a few nights while our home was being remodeled and we chose Hyatt Place for it's close proximity to our house. We expected that with Hyatt's reputation we would have a good experience. While not everything turned out bad, we were disappointed the experience fell short in several areas. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly and helpful staff, notably Chris. He was enthusiastic and very professional. That was the good part. The rest not so much. Although the rooms are adequate,the overall condition of the hotel is not good. It is in dire need of updating. It has the feeling of something that should have been taken care of a long time ago. Worn out carpets, old paint and window treatments to name a few. Hyatt advertises a "free breakfast" for their guests. The very limited food choices include what I believe to be skillet fried salami pieces (maybe they thought the package said "bacon"?) They also added some semi stale biscuits along with a concoction resembling scrambled eggs..YUK! Beyond that they had some plain yogurt (I think) and a couple of juices. Hyatt corporate can improve this place greatly by spending some money to get this place up to their standards and remodel it. My last suggestion won't cost the company a dime.....GET RID OF THE BREAKFAST UNTIL YOU CAN SERVE SOMETHING EDIBLE! read more

It's kind of an iffy hotel. I was just there and the first room smelled like pot and the tv wouldn't let me stream. I changed rooms, still can't stream and the bed was at an angle-like the box springs were messed up. It's pretty clean but isn't a favorite. read more

We stayed here while we were in town and we were very happy with this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Matt and the general manager. The hotel in general is exceptionally clean and well managed. The rooms almost feel like suites, the front rooms have a sectional pull out couch with a desk and bar area, a half wall divider, then the room with the bathroom and a vanity/makeup area. It was very spacious. We were impressed by the room and the price. The breakfast has lots of options, fresh and filling and kept stocked. The general manager was there on a Saturday managing it, keeping it clean, we were very impressed! We prefer it over TRU down the street. We'll be back read more

One of the nicer and it seems like newer hyatt places. The building and rooms are new and clean. The rooms were well supplied and everything in them were new and clean. Staff were welcoming and friendly, the only reason I didnt go for 5 stars was my room was not ready on time. If check in is at 3pm the room should be ready. not the worst thing as I left for lunch and within an hour it was ready. We stayed here over one weekend visiting for a soccer tournament. The hotel itself was very soccer team friendly and helped us block out floors for our entire team to stay. I love how they have a small restaurant and bar in the lobby with plenty of seating. They provided complimentary breakfast which was a perk. They do have a pool, but don't expect it to be large. It was plenty big for a team to enjoy. They also had seating outside by the pool. The only thing I wished they had were more water dispensers or water fountains. We also didn't have lotion in our room which would have been nice to have. Besides that, the hotel and stay was awesome with amazing service by the staff. read more

Hi. I spent one night at this hotel. The staff were nice but..upon entering i saw a brown coffee stain near the checking desk. Each time I got on the elevator I pray it wouldn't stop working because it was soooo hot. I was in both and on the 6th floor. The very worst was a dark almost greasy looking stain in front of the sink, I'm 613. This stain bothered me so much I put a towel over it. There were other stains on the carpet as well. This is the best hotel staff I have ever seen. The young, dark curly hair lady at the front desk was attentive, friendly,and efficient. But the real star was the Hispanic gentleman that works the breakfast bar. That guy was awesome. Just a sweet guy. The guy really loves his job and helping people. Went through Expedia to book this reservation easy peasy. Get to the hotel around 1pm checked in everything was fine easy! Great customer service. Went to my event came back to the hotel around 8:30pm was greeted by the front desk. Everything is cool so I thought Around 10pm I get a call from the front desk saying that I was given the wrong room WHAT! He puts me on hold checking in the computer for what I am not sure! He comes back stating well you're in the wrong room I just sat on the phone silent because the front desk clerk gave me this room. He starts asking me questions for my first and last name the last 4 digits of my card and yet he's breathing hard stating I didn't pay for this room and I took someone else's room. He states that he will fix it I state I reserved this room! I pulled up my reservation and everything and he insisted that I did not! He calls at 11pm we were sleeping because we have to get up early to head back to Vegas. He call 3-4 times before i finally answered just to tell me that they were not going to charge me the price for the room I'm in and that he fixed it on his end but when I leave I need to stop by the front desk and blah blah blah.. SIR it's 11pm I wasn't going to pay for anything because the lady at the first desk assigned this room to me! I stayed here for two nights while my apartment was being repaired for water damage. Check in was fast and friendly. My room was clean except for hair on the shower wall. Not sure how someone missed it. Breakfast was average during Covid 19. You have a pick of a hot or cold item plus juice or coffee. I will say the employees were all pleasant. Don't stay here, I got food poisoning from them when I ordered the pizza and chicken. Some one from the hotel is not doing a good job checking to see what's fresh to make and what's not. For that I was on the toilet with my stomach screaming out for help. Also smelled like Cat piss in the room so I had to get a transfer on top of my stomach pains and when I come out no one is at the front desk... for 2 hours Unprofessional , extraordinarly disappointing service, and management is no where to be seen helping the matter. We will never stay at this location again! The walls in our room had food splatter stains. After the first night, I contacted the hotel to state the bath gel dispenser was never refilled. An employee brought up a trial size of shampoo and bath gel, stated house keeping was gone and that's all he could find. I had to go out and purchase bath gel despite that was supposed to be part of amenities provided. Then when it was time for house keeping to come and clean they only emptied the trash, left two bath towels and two wash cloths for two people staying additional two days. Nothing was changed, beds not made, nothing was cleaned or wiped down. I contacted the front desk and the employee stated he would contact the house keeping manager and get back to me. No one came by nor contacted us! We were there for four days and will never go back! read more

Very satisfied with our stay. Room was quiet, clean and spacious. Desk clerk was friendly and let us check in early which we really appreciated on such a hot day and several hours on the road. We had a beer in their small bar adjacent to their breakfast room/Starbucks, but don't expect a traditional type lounge. It's just a couple of tables near the lobby. Breakfast could have been better. Aside from that we thought the room was well appointed, WiFi and parking convenient and included. A very BIG positive feature was the quiet A/C which was thermostat controlled. So nice during 113 degree days, and the outdoor swimming pool excellent also. Happy to recommend this Hyatt Place. read more

Awful experience. General Manager ignored our messages to correct deficiencies. I don't understand why housekeeping will only clean every other day, but only due to my insistence, it was done on day three. In that visit, there were no trash liner replacements, or amenities replaced. The hotel reeked of Marijuana; hotel did not enforce non-smoking policy. A baseball team roamed around all hours and ran the hallways and slammed doors. Early check-in was not adequately given. Front desk staff was ineffective. Room was very small. Housekeeping did not refill body wash dispenser upon last guest check-out. A rock ajar'ed hotel door access at midnight; no apparent security to police the safety of guests. 99% of Housekeeping staff are Spanish speaking only. Choose a different hotel. No laundry facility here, was told to go over to hotel across the street by front desk staff person. read more

My wife and I spent the weekend in AZ to get away from the cold cold Rocky Mountains where we live and to visit some family out there. Stayed at the Hyatt place because of proximity to friends and family. First I'll start with the good... room was clean and cool (AC worked). It's a suite and had a nice walk in shower that I enjoyed. Furniture was newer and nice and comfortable. So over all the room was good. Which is why I give some stars. Buuuuut.... The BAD. Check in. Oh my I have never been so uncomfortably standing in a lobby of a hotel waiting for the "slow system" to check me in. There was a ton of kids running around screaming, not their fault of course but DANG, it was like an out of control kiddie birthday party in the lobby with nary a parent to be found. There's not a manager in site. 3 ladies at the front desk seemed to not know what to do or what was going on. Our keys couldn't be made at the front either for who knows what reason. Took about 30 minutes of awkward standing amongst the screaming children. Now to top it off we were given a main floor room directly across the hall from the meeting room. And of course there was a quinceanera or birthday going on with LIVE MUSIC.... LIVE. Try sleeping with a mariachi quartet outside your door! Bad experience which is a shame cause this hotel is close to folks I know and to be fair the room was pretty nice. read more

This place was so pleasant to stay at. I was in AZ traveling for work with my pregnant partner. Upon entering the hotel we were greeted by Bryce who was very well informed on the local restaurants and even recommended some to us per request. He was incredibly friendly and made our late night check-in that much more enjoyable - he even called up to the room after check-in to ensure everything went smoothly. We stayed here two nights while visiting friends in Gilbert. The hotel is nice, pretty new. I believe my boyfriend paid $140 a night. They are a "green" hotel, which they emphasize a lot when you check in. One way they say they're green is in order to turn the lights on in your room, you have to insert a room key into a slot. So in theory, if you aren't there, you will be taking your room key with you, and there is no way to accidentally leave the lights on. But the lady checking us in gave us two room keys "one for the lights, so it's easier." Kind of defeats the purpose to me. The room was nice. King size bed, couch area to lounge. The flat screen TV is in between the two areas and it swivels so you can move the TV to work in either side of the room. There is a desk, a refrigerator, and lots of outlets, so we were able to easily charge our phones, iPads, computers, etc... The bathroom was a good size. Everything was clean and nice. They have free Wifi and free breakfast in the morning, fruit, bagels, and coffee. They also have a full menu you can order off of, along with fancy coffee drinks and alcohol, although we didn't order anything. They have a "grab and go" section in the lobby where you can buy water, juice, sodas, medicine, toothpaste, etc. We did use that a couple times, but there weren't always people around to assist us so we did have to wait sometimes. Although one night my boyfriend did buy a cookie and they offered to heat it up for him, which was nice. He liked it :) This was a nice hotel, we never had problems finding parking. I would stay here again if we ever go back to Gilbert. read more

Do not expect much from this Hyatt. Completely under staffed and long line at check on even though we checked in online. One elevator was broken and the other one was almost out and very slow. Rooms were not up to Hyatt standards. The TV was not visual from the bed, only from the sitting area. Definitely would not stay here again. read more

Tried to check in 2 hours early... the place was empty, no cars in parking lot and no guests checking in or out... but they refused to let us check in early. I have never been to a hotel, ever, that hasn't let you check in early... especially when it's a complete ghost town. I am very understand if they were actually busy, and there was a line up of ppl trying to get rooms. But there wasn't. They wouldn't even give me, "we could get a room ready in 30 minutes"... they stuck with check in at 3. I've worked in hotels... this is just poor management. I don't know if this is throughout the company or just this location but I probably will not stay at a Hyatt again. They were nice enough to cancel my reservation without penalty, again, why they got the additional star. read more

We were in town for a tournament. The location was ideal, check-in was easy, and everyone we encountered was nice. We were disappointed in the overall condition of the room. The room did not seem to be cleaned thoroughly. There was a cap to a travel shampoo in the shower that did not belong to us and the body wash dispenser was empty. We also did not have enough towels. We did encounter a housekeeper in the evening who asked in the hallway if we needed anything but we had just checked in so assumed we were set. The carpets seemed very dirty as there were multiple spots throughout, including on the sofa. There was also an open coffee packet in the coffee machine. The outlet next to the bathroom sink was not in working condition. Since we only stayed for 1 night and were only there long enough to shower, sleep, and have breakfast so we did not make a fuss. But these things would make me reconsider a future stay. read more

Hotel room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay here for the one night we did stay. It is a bit pricey, $245 to be exact but that's because we came during sports season so everywhere was a little over priced. We enjoyed taking a dip in the pool in the afternoon and the complimentary breakfast bar. We also liked that the TVs in the room were able to connect to your smart phone so you can cast certain apps like Netflix, Hulu, etc. The staff was more than nice and welcoming and helped us with all of our questions and inquiries. We stayed at this Hyatt two weeks ago. It was on the first floor and it was great. The room was very clean. Unfortunately, we stopped again on our way back to California and this time we're assigned a room on the fifth floor. The bathroom walls looked dirty, the wall divider has probably never been dusted and there was still a old candy on the floor in the bathroom behind the door. We wiped down all surfaces but felt quite uneasy even if only for one night. Maybe it's just the person cleaning that floor cause our room two weeks ago was immaculate. Hopefully that's something that can easily be fixed but definitely something to be looked into!! read more

Worst hotel experience I've had in my entire life and I've stayed at more than 200 hotels. This hotel was booked for a business trip and the nightmare started as soon as I set foot inside. I'm gonna fast forward to after check out and not even go into details on rude staff, worst room service, dirty EVERYTHING, 1:45 min wait time at the bar to get 1 drink.. yes 1 drink and lack of professionalism all around. I was so glad i was leaving when I was checking out and payed my 1,002.23 for 4 nights and i thought I don't ever have to deal with them again.. wrong. 4 days later now, there are 3 charges of $1,002.00 1,007.00 and 100.2.23 on my credit card. I wanted to keep my business transactions separate from my other transactions which is why I used one of my secondary cards with only a $2000 limit. By having these 3 charges totaling over $3000+ it has caused it to go way over advance and throw everything off. I have been calling this place to get an explanation and fix the errors made but It keeps going to voicemail. I will never stay at another Hyatt property every again and would advise anyone reading this to never give them your business. For the same price, Hilton, is a way better choice all around. If you're looking for motel 6 experience and fraudulent charges for a hotel that costs over $200/night then this is the place for you. Horrible service. Dirty. Slow. Not enough personnel at front desk. Busy working the food counter and can't get guest checked in. Front Desk Manager is rude and not helpful at all. Made rude comments to me. Rooms not ready as promised by 3pm. Rooms were supposedly clean but needed inspection. Had to wait for inspection. Then after that we got into our two rooms and they were dirty. Urine stains on toilet. Hair in bathtub. Sheets had obviously not been changed. Hair in between the sheets. Nasty. Decent hotel but obviously not managed well. Go somewhere else. Many hotels available in the area. Oh and the gym is horrible. A few dumbbells. A treadmill and a bike and bike was out of order for our two day stay. read more
