Took 2 classes here so far and wanted to compliment Mike on his bowl turning class which I should have sent sooner. Mike is a low key instructor reinforcing good habits while gently nudging you into improving your technique. I personally respond better to this method and I gained a lot of useful knowledge and positive reinforcement which is helping me to learn faster and try different techniques. Safety is always the main concern and he does a great job making sure you understand how to be as safe as possible. Overall a great experience for a newby like me and I will be taking more advanced classes here in the future.

The bolts were too short. Ian helped me find them and they were a bit thick when I tried to use them. Returned and I may have forgotten to mention they were Japanese. Ian got me the metric bolt with the proper length and they worked great. Ian was friendly and so helpful. Spoke with an attentive coun termen the first visit and got a quote on several types of pavers then mulled it over until the next Saturday. When I returned, noticed these poured step stones were still there and very similar to my pool decking and while they weren't exactly what I was imagining, I couldn't beat the price for concrete per sq/ft and Luis worked with me to get the whole lot of 15 off their yard. They were an item on clearance and much sturdier than some of the shale type flag I was considering. Couple water stained and varied shades due to UV exposure and weather but hopefully an acid wash and a little equal amount of sunshine will equalize their tone. Overall, I'm very happy with the help I received and the deal I got. The lift operator even hoisted the pallet to my suv lift gate and helped load them. The one product I wish they had more selection of is decorative gravel. Not much selection, but they have a limited sized yard and carry a lot of fast moving material like, mulch, soil, manure and chips.

I've had split loads where they bring two products to my home and still free delivery as long as you have the four-yard minimum. Local store specials on a few products when we can pick up the material without requiring delivery. If you want a small amount, bring a shovel and containers. If you have a pick-up truck Hastie's will load the truck for you using their skip-loaders. Very knowledgeable employees to help us get the product we need and be on our way in minutes. At that point, I had no real option to refuse the delivery since the rocks were already blocking both my driveway and part of the road. I was forced to move forward and use the material in my landscaping. This experience felt very misleading, and I'm disappointed with the lack of consistency and transparency.
