I have a metal roof and gutters with gutter guards. They company that used to do an excellent job on my roof (I'll call them "JB") is a janitorial firm that appears to no longer do roofs. I called AA based on reviews and explained that my roof was quite dirty with pollen and was clear with them it was metal. They said they would come and blow the roof off and see what else could be done. They did NOT come right out and say they could not clean up pollen. They quoted me a price lower than the previous company had been charging, so I scheduled the work about three weeks out. The tech came out late in the afternoon, spent a LOT of time looking around and talking to the office and then told me that they could only blow debris off. To do a wash would take two people a full day and cost around $2,000. Sorry, that's NOT going to happen! I said go ahead and blow the roof off, there was plenty of Douglas fir cones and other debris that needed to come off anyway. The work was fine for what it was, though there's still a mess of pollen up there. I would have preferred that they just say "we don't clean metal roofs because you won't be happy with the results."

We had another company do our windows a couple of years ago and though they were ok, it was the usual method. Also they pulled a screen out of it's frame. But this year again we had PowerTwin do all of our windows and screens. In addition to the usual on the inside of the windows, they use a special super filtered water to rinse the exterior of the windows. We felt the windows stayed cleaner longer as there was absolutely no residue left. My very picky wife said the windows look beautiful. Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed.

In a phone conversation, they said they are actually twin sisters who started this service during the pandemic. PowerTwin cleaned 18 windows and sliding-glass doors, interior and exterior, for our home. Their window cleaning and business practices more than lived up to their creative and energetic name. They lived up to their promise of quality and far exceeded our expectations. I looked at the details of their website a few days after they washed our windows. The website is well-designed, full of examples, and enthusiastic. The description of their high quality is not an exaggeration. Don't need window washing? We've already scheduled two other appointments for their services. Also on their list of services, you'll see solar panels, skylights, plus industrial or residential pressure washing.
