In spite of this situation and the affordability of the service, I decided to try again. Well fool me twice shame on me and I paid the price. I drove 40 minutes only to find out they didn't have my tires in their inventory as they promised. To add some icing on the cake they only had 2 replacement tires available AND they were going to make me wait until after their lunch break to start. I was quoted for 6 days, and had my vehicle back in 2. However, the quality of the repair was very poor. Several scratches were missed and buffing compound was all over the door crevices and plastic trim when I received it (it cannot be removed from the plastic so this will have to be replaced). They took my vehicle back for a second time and offered me a ride to work for that day, and the swirling somewhat improved, but they did not fix some of the small scratches. I am now having another shop fix their work. Gerber also asked me to indicate on the Carwise review to say my vehicle did not have to be brought back in, in order to improve their online ratings. Photos included. Update: One day after posting this, someone with the same name as one of the technicians posted his own 5-star review claiming to be a customer. Super shady stuff going on here.

I had inquired about a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee previous to driving to the dealership. I was ready to sign the paperwork and drive it back. I worked with the sales person over the phone initially. We reviewed what was advertised on their site and the auto check report over the phone. The sales person indicated that there was a small amount of damage reported on the autocheck report but it was cosmetic and had been repaired. "Maybe a bird flew into it," is what they said. When I arrived at the dealership I immediately noticed that features in the ad were not on the vehicle. Specifically a tow package and backup camera. The response by the salesperson was that a 3rd party website posted their vehicles and they weren't responsible for the description. Really? If you are selling a product you should make sure your advertisers accurately represent your product. It takes about 2 minutes to update a website. We needed a car so we continued and took the vehicle for a test drive. I asked for the CarFax report. When I returned I noticed an alert on the CarFax report--it said, "Passenger front-damage reported, passenger rear-damage reported, driver front-damage reported, driver rear-damage reported, structural damage reported, air bags deployed." I was in shock after reading this and that I wasn't made aware of this in advance of driving 2 1/2 hours to the dealership. I walked out of the dealership. The salesperson merely said, "Maybe this isn't the car for you." No apology, nothing else. I can't believe I wasted half of a Saturday. Buyer beware of this dealership especially of the currently listed 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I am going to make sure to share my story with as many people as possible in hopes that they can avoid a similar experience.
