We have been customers of Wind River Environmental for many years, so, when we needed to schedule a Title 5 inspection, we called them first. No one from WR ever called me back, but, after repeated phone calls, some anonymous WR employee emailed me a very expensive quote with instructions to contact our local health board to collect the information they needed. Offended that no live person ever returned my calls and surprised by how expensive the inspection would be, I saw a coupon from Rosano-Davis and decided to give them a call. Linda answered after the first ring, concisely explained the process and very reasonable pricing, scheduled the inspection, and said that Sue would collect all the info they needed from the Board of Health. That was only the beginning of the outstanding service they gave us. The day of the inspection, Christian (whom we later discovered was the owner's son!) showed up with a smile and led his crew through a time-efficient and thorough septic inspection. He was literally "down in the trenches" with his crew. When they finished, they cleaned up so well, our property looked like they had never even been here. This wonderful company provided top-notch service from the first phone call to the completed report. I highly, highly recommend them!!

The technician arrived, dragged the hose, uncovered the lid using a drill, pumped, replaced the lid, cleaned up, and left--all in 7 minutes. Yes, from arrival to departure. The tech seemed like a good guy, but I strongly recommend being home during service so you don't get shortchanged. This year's inspection revealed the tank was on the verge of a backflow situation--the first time in over a decade. Owner Paul wasn't there during the service but stood by what was seen on video. Sometimes I wait 7 minutes just for a coffee at Dunkin'. Whatever the reason--maybe the truck was almost full--I feel like I got hosed.

I first encountered this vehicle on my road as I was stuck behind them as they drove 10 mph for about half mile. Then at the stop sign, this truck sat and sat and sat with zero traffic stopping them. I honked to let them know I was there and so he responded with a long blast of his air horn. I then tried to drive around this truck, and so he waited until I was almost past, then pulled out and tried to race me. I could go on but I won't. I will add that this grumpy crap hauler recognized my car a week later and then began similar antics. Cannot believe DOT would license someone who drives like this. I have called this business to ask to speak to the driver and I will update this if I receive a call back. Given my experiences I would not recommend this business. I have a further update. It was Thursday morning around 8. Steve avery showed up at around 1 pm and acknowledged that the pump should be replaced. He had the chamber pumped on Friday and said he would get a new pump. We had to refrain from using excessive water. He just left us hanging. I called Friday evening and he said he had the pump but wouldn't work on it til Monday. Monday came and went and he ignored our calls. Also Tuesday ignored our calls. Tuesday night promised Wednesday morning. Nothing. Finally came by Thursday without speaking to anyone, left in 30 minutes . No communication until Monday when we got a bill. Still no communication but assume work is done. He did not have a snake to remove the clogged drainage pipe nor did he have any tools to open the line. Further flooding came that night when my water softener recirculated despite the fact that I had been told it was unnecessary to unplug it. The tech came the next day and I was charged twice for the digging fees and a second emergency fee. The invoice appeared in my email three days after they quickly charged my credit card. I was grossly overcharged for these services and will never call them again. He questioned me about my problem and I let him know what was going on. He asked me a couple simple questions and next thing I know he was on his way to my house because he said he had some time to do one more run before the sanitization place closed. Turns out my septic was so full that the tampons my stupid brother's girlfriend put down the toilet ended up backing up and clogging a drain. He then referred me to a draining company to have them come out the next morning and unclog the drain, he actually made the phone call himself sitting in my driveway and scheduled the appointment for me! Customer service like this goes a long way... He now has a customer forever and someone to refer more business to him.
