This business is appropriately named…read more Whoever drives their truck is a rude and aggressive driver. I first encountered this vehicle on my road as I was stuck behind them as they drove 10 mph for about half mile. Then at the stop sign, this truck sat and sat and sat with zero traffic stopping them. I honked to let them know I was there and so he responded with a long blast of his air horn. I then tried to drive around this truck, and so he waited until I was almost past, then pulled out and tried to race me. I could go on but I won't. I will add that this grumpy crap hauler recognized my car a week later and then began similar antics. Cannot believe DOT would license someone who drives like this. I have called this business to ask to speak to the driver and I will update this if I receive a call back. Given my experiences I would not recommend this business. I have a further update. This pro now honks his air horn when he drives past my house. Isn't that great! Professionalism at its finest.

After battling with that company for over three months to get them to fix their shotty workmanship, we decided to try another company in order to Resolve the ongoing issues. We came across J Hockman, and reached out to them, and told them what our problem was. Within a couple days they sent Chris storehouse who took the time to diagnose what was going on and explain in detail what had been done prior and what should be changed going forward. After accepting the quote for the work, they returned within several days and were able to fix the problem in under two hours. They even found another way of accessing the septic system saving us a few dollars in the end. Not many companies would be willing to do that! Horrible! I would never hire this contractor again. They were the highest of the estimates we got,…read morebut came with good reputation, so we decided to bite the bullet and go with the best recommendation. The contract we signed was for the water main and replacement of driveway they tore up to get to the main. for a total of $8800. They came and replaced the water main, and dropped stone over the torn up driveway and told us they would come back when the weather was warmer to finish the paving. There was a lot of snow on the ground when repair was done, but even so I was still disappointed that site was left such a mess - a rock wall that had to be dismantled was left lying everywhere all over the driveway, so now most of the slate is broken and cannot be re-used. We paid the invoice sent for the water main repair ($6000) as soon as we got the invoice, but I still cannot get them to come back to finish the driveway - they claim they left a single message and since we didn't return the call, they moved on from the job. I called and emailed numerous times to get them to come and finish the driveway, they never return calls nor emails. I finally got the gentleman that gave us the original estimate on the phone, and after telling me he was too busy now to come and finish it up for another month at least - when I balked and pointed out that I paid the first part promptly so that we could get the second part done quickly, declared that the $6k I paid for the repair was "peanuts to them" so I should either suck it up and wait for them to get around to me or I should find another person to finish the job, and then hung up on me. I called back to verify this was their stance, only to be hung up on again. I now have to retain a lawyer to try and get them to complete the contracted work. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY they are brash, obnoxious, dismissive, and entirely not worth the cost for the added stress they threw into an already stressful situation. UPDATE: we have had someone else come in and give an estimate, and due to the terrible work they did in the first place, it will now cost us at the lowest twice as much to fix, and one contractor told us it was such a poor job they would probably have to tear up the entire driveway and replace it at a cost of almost $10,000. At this point, I don't want this contractor anywhere near my property, and recommend everyone stay away from this company.
