He was extremely patient and very knowledgeable of the products that we were looking for. On the first call, he produced a 3D model, based on what I had selected and designed, emailed it to me immediately and it was exactly what we wanted. On the second call, he advised me on a few other items to complete the list for our project. I placed the order a couple of days later and received my order the next day which was very surprising, because we live in New Jersey and the shipment came from Michigan. We are very pleased with the process and would highly recommend Lily Ann Cabinets especially based on our experience with Richard Westgate.

I cannot say enough great things about Lily Ann Cabinets. My husband and I just purchased our first…read morehome and were looking to install new cabinets for one wall in our kitchen. We planned to take advantage of the 4th of July sales, but unfortunately the line I loved at LAC wasn't included, so I was about to go with another vendor. Then I received a text from Lily after submitting for a quote. I responded explaining the situation, and she immediately said, "no problem, we will price match." At first I honestly thought I might be texting with a bot, but it turned out to be Lily herself, the daughter of the owners. In a bit of a panic about missing the other sale and not having anything locked in, I called and spoke with her brother. He stayed on the phone with me for over 30 minutes, walking through my entire order and making sure I had everything I needed. I was blown away by the level of service. Maybe I'm a bit jaded living in LA, but this felt truly above and beyond. It's rare to find a company that is this responsive, personal, and genuinely cares. I also love that this is a family-run business. It makes such a difference, and I much prefer supporting companies like this over big corporations that often lack customer service. It really shows in how they treat their customers. We are so excited for our cabinets to arrive and already look forward to placing more orders as we continue fixing up our new home. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for both quality and incredible customer service.

The shop shares a large building with a historical museum. The little village that surrounds the quilt shop is very scenic, with beautiful gardens and cute little shops. There are old time, down home country cooking type restaurants on site, so you can get lunch before you head home. One is a sit-down restaurant outside the village, another is a cafeteria inside the village. Threads of Tradition has a lot of notions, single quilt patterns, pattern books and--of course--fabric of all genres, from historical reproductions all the way up to modern. The prices on the fabric were usually very, very good in the past. They seemed lower than my area of Michigan. I used to wonder how they could do it, and figured it was due to a high volume of shoppers. Now that cotton prices are through the roof, it's hard to gauge. The prices seemed to be actually a bit higher than the shops I frequent in Michigan. At Threads of Tradition, fat quarters were priced at $3.25 today, while they're $2.75 in my part of Michigan. Still worth a visit.

We were power washing at the lake and melted a hole in the hose when it hit a hot engine after four hours of wet work. With an hour to go on the job we hit an all stop until we replaced the hose and Sears came to the rescue as we needed two hoses. Walking into the Sears store, it was clean and organized. I was greeted walking in the door and was able to spot what I thought I wanted. Getting the hose and bringing it to the counter I thought we made an expensive mistake until the lady working asked if I was looking for the OEM or looking to upgrade. As we didn't need a higher PSI, the cleark was able to find me exactly what we needed at almost half the cost. I appreciate a knowledgable sales associate, especially when they save me enough money for a trip to the grocery. The lady working was friendly, attentive, and provided me with a second option that better fit our needs. I won't forget the money saving, job solving assistance from the sales associate.
