Inspector was very thorough and explained everything as he was going - answering our questions and putting our mind at ease. He was also able to explain issues to our renovation contractor who also accompanied us to the inspection. The report came quickly, by 10 AM the following day. The report was very thorough and included several pictures. Being a realtor here in Texas I will have no issues recommending this inspector to my buyers.

Upon moving in, an immediate and costly repair to plumbing was incurred - not to mention a whole of other issues that will require a great deal of money to repair - dishwasher not secured in place, outlets not working, outlets loose, garage door apparatus not hung properly, sinks not draining properly, deck considered weathered by inspector is actually rotted and needs replacement, sprinkler systems not working properly, dangerous holes in backyard, there are a whole host of other issues. As most are not trained in what to look for in terms of inspection, I counted on this business to advocate on our behalf - I usually do not complain but this was the worst inspection and I feel very taken advantaged of. I would not recommend this company at all!

After all the reviews I've posted regarding my new home purchase, I nearly forgot to make mention…read moreof the super-professional service provided by SunView Inspections. Their website makes online scheduling of your home inspection easy and efficient. Apart from the 200% guarantee and the free major appliance recall check, Jerry and his staff ensure that the inspection of your home will be thorough and extensive. In my particular case, Jerry arrived on site at the specified time range and was conscientious as to not track dirt into the home by wearing shoe covers (very detail-oriented). He did not rush through the process and when a potential sign of trouble or malfunction arose, he paid extremely close attention to be sure that his assessments were correct. At the conclusion of the inspection, Jerry went over the documentation item by item, pointing out to me the things that were of paramount importance and those that could wait until a later date to address. Later that evening, PDF copies of the home and termite inspection were in my e-mail inbox, ready to print and review. Because of Jerry's attention to detail and thorough nature, I was able to go back to the seller with a professional and well documented list of the things I needed repaired before the sale could go through. Without a doubt, I would recommend SunView Inspections to any prospective home buyer. Besides giving you piece of mind as to the condition of your potential home, you are better able to prioritize what you need to address first once you begin the move-in process. Well done Jerry!!
