DO NOT STAY HERE!! Our thermostat was broken all night long (in the middle of January) and my husband and I were freezing the whole time! We paid for the nicest, most expensive room, and it was very similar to a cheap room at a motel 6. Very old carpets, ancient couch, fireplace did not give off heat. When we explained the issue to management, they refused to give us a refund and said it was our fault for not calling in the middle of the night to change rooms. Ridiculous. read more

Beautiful location and setting. It stops there. Planned a 50th birthday celebration for my husband at The Homestead and the entire experience was less than expected. The property is undergoing a major renovation and most of the grounds are unfinished. We had booked a king suite which is portrayed differently on the website than on property. The room we checked into was yet to be completed; fireplace was not assembled, knobs on cabinets losing, etc. The manager was somewhat helpful in righting our reservation type; however the room we moved to (which is what we had been told we were booking) was less finished. I stepped on a giant screw on the trek up the stairs and corridor to the room. There was a mini fridge on the floor in the path to the bathroom in front of the floor length mirror, no art or accessories and blue painters tape on the wall and ceiling denoting unfinished construction items. The property has amazing potential and will be lovely. The management is renting rooms when they're unfinished. Disappointed to say the least. read more

The staff (and manager) need some serious training. While the grounds and rooms were beautiful and the food at Simon's Restaurant had some show stoppers, when we informed the staff our lights weren't working in our room, they promised to text maintenance, but strangely did not act like it was going to help. I thought it a strange reaction. The problem was that they have this new feature in the room that you have to put your room key in the slot to have the lights work. Easy fix right? NOPE. The staff never told us this and as we continued to call and try to get lights so we could take a shower (not too safe in the dark right?) They continued to ignore us and say they would "text" again not sounding very sure there would be a response. We never got a call back during this 4 hour plus ordeal. When we contacted the manager the next day, he was "shocked" that I was angry at the staff at 10:30 at night for trying to get a lamp for the bathroom and was being ignored yet again. I had to get really upset after four hours of being ignored before they would do anything (like give us a lamp). I mean how hard is it to give someone a lamp? This is not an inexpensive place. It was our anniversary and we spent our honeymoon there so it could have been epic. WOW save your money. The staff could care less about you. The manager could care less about you--he doesn't want you mad at the staff who don't know about the key in the slot lights. The housekeeping staff was awesome, the room was spotless. read more

"Resort" is a term used loosely here. The building are old and design is dated, the grounds manicured but not exceptionally well, the food borderline inedible (mushroom steak that was so overcooked and hard that a knife couldn't cut through), and the famed Crater is quite dirty. However, the staff are incredibly charming, especially Jamie, their event planner. They do their best with what they're got and make an accommodating venue for the recent wedding I attended. When I found out the cost to hold a wedding here I was stunned - for $10k they put the bride in a converted hotel bedroom and had a lawn ceremony with a cardboard cutout altar. There is also a strange curfew that the wedding needed to end at 10 pm. Not sure if this is a Utah standard or a noise ordinance for the other guests, but either way, rather early for the party to stop. If I were not a guest of the wedding, I'd be terribly annoyed by the music carrying throughout the lot, and flood of children and attendees. Positively, this area of Utah is gorgeous. Proximity is also close to Heber, which has a slurry of better dining options. I also see the crater advertised on Groupon quite a lot, which might make the sup-par appearance more understandable for the compromised price. read more

We had stayed at the Homestead Resort a few years back and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately our second experience was terrible. Upon arriving I foresaw the first issue. The people staying directly above us were already playing their music crazy loud (ok had it been half decent music I probably would not even noticed, but it sounded like $h@t). I had to call the front desk about something else and mentioned this to them. I told them it wasn't an issue right now as it was still early, but I could see it becoming one as the night went on. They said they didn't have anything clean right now but if it continued into the night they would find us another room. We ended up using the pool and returning just before 10:00. When we got back to our room the party upstairs was off the hook (ok not off the hook, just a bunch of people blaring shitty music, drinking and smoking on the balcony). We were now told they had no other rooms, but they would ask them to keep it down. Shortly after we wanted to get the pull out bed ready for our kids. It was now that we realized we had no sheets just pillows. I called the office again and they informed me they had no house keeping, but they would get someone to bring stuff eventually. At this point my wife and son decided to drive the one hour back home. My daughter and I would have done the same but she had her open water dive scheduled for the crater at 9:00am. We went to bed thinking it couldn't have been a worse stay when the chirping sound began. I tried for 20 minutes to locate what sounded like a dying mouse, or bird with no luck. I finally gave up, but every minute or so it chirped again. In the morning I went to the office and let them know about all the issue and how disappointed we were. They apologized and said the would give us a $15 refund on the resort fees. That $15 credit made it all better. read more

There rooms are way overpriced. My wife and I booked a room for our anniversary. We went to check in and they had us booked but no room. The lady had 2 give us someone elses room that didnt show up yet. We booked the "best room" that they had that was well ov er 200 dollars a night. We get 2 our room the first thing i noticed was the window was broken. They "fixed" it by putting cardboard on the window. Going inside the room, it was nothing like the pics. Not what i reserved. UPDATE: the general manager finally contacted me (he had been out of the country) and apologized for the whole situation. Said it should not have been handled that way and would make it right. He refunded what we paid for the first night (when we didn't stay at all) and gave us a gift certificate to come back in a luxury room. We haven't been back up there yet to see if we have a better experience, but I was happy with how it was taken care of and the GM was very nice! I don't even know where to begin here! I had such an unpleasant experience with The Homestead Resort, and my anniversary weekend was ruined because of it. I had made a mistake with my reservation somehow and booked the wrong night. I called reservations to see if they could help me sort it out and get our room for the right night and the girl who I spoke with, Trina, was absolutely awful. She immediately had a rude tone and was not willing to help me. When I started to get upset about the situation she LAUGHED hysterically at me and wouldn't even try to help. When I asked to speak with someone else because she was being rude she continued laughing and told me I could call back Monday and then HUNG UP ON ME. Our reservation was supposed to be for that night, so obviously that wasn't going to work. I called back and asked for a manager and I was able to talk to someone else who was a little more helpful, but still seemed extremely annoyed with me and was still not very friendly. He told me since it was my mistake I'd have to book another room but he would give me a 10% discount. I was fine paying for another room even though I had already paid $250+ for a room, but I didn't want our one anniversary weekend away without kids to be ruined so I just sucked it up and paid. We had also made a reservation at the crater and they had told us we'd get the pass from the front desk so when we checked in, I asked about it and he told us we'd have to pay another $30 for the crater but they'd give us a $20 resort credit to use at the restaurant, so whatever, I did it. Overall our room was nice and the crater was cool, but I couldn't believe how we were treated! And then we checked out and they charged us the $50 we owed from charging our dinner to our room and that was that. But then when I checked my card statement a couple days later I was charged almost $100 more! So at this point I have paid over $500 to this place for ONE room for ONE night! Ridiculous. I have tried emailing them multiple times in every way possible in the past week and I can't get through to anyone. I refuse to call them again because I don't want to be treated as poorly as I was treated last time I tried to call them, and I was hoping emailing them multiple times would get at least a response from someone, but they are just ignoring me. I feel like the scammed me and took advantage of us because we are a young couple and made a mistake. I am very said because I would have loved to come back here with my kids, but this is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced and don't believe anyone deserves to be treated this way and taken advantage of like this. I had a horrible experience at this "resort". There were ants all over in my room when my wife and I arrived. The management said we were "fully committed" to our room and sent some one to spray the ants. After the ants were sprayed the fumes from the poison lingered for hours and would burn your lungs if you went inside. Also the dead ants were not completely cleaned up. I would not recommend the homestead to anyone if it was the last place on earth! No refund was issued, discount, or even an apology. read more

Not bad, but not the best when there's so much to offer a loyal customer. We spent almost a week at this resort over the St Valentine's Day week and weekend, expecting to be wowed. I was sorely disappointed. Although we made the best of our time, the hospitality of the staff kept testing our reserve of patience. The front desk personnel in particular seemed constantly irritable and conceded, regardless of the shift. Our reservation was 'lost', so even though we confirmed our reservation ahead of our stay, the cottage we reserved ended up turning into just another room in a bank of motel duplicates. Half the resort wasn't open due to the time of year, so the only amenity or entertainment available was the crater pool. We did enjoy our soak in the effervescent warm waters of the crater. A wonderful hour well spent. Other than that though, there was absolutely nothing to do but go elsewhere to find our own entertainment. The resort proved to be more of an over-hyped spread out motel with an undeserved reputation for excellence. I understand that The Homestead Resort does offer more in the way of amenities during the warmer months of the year, so I suppose I'll have to experience this place at another time of year to see if my opinion changes. Hands down the finest property in Midway Utah or in any of the surrounding cities. We've stayed at The Homestead on more than a dozen occasions. The main building is lovely, the bungalows are cozy, quaint and very nice. The resort itself is about a 10 minute ride (via free hotel shuttle) to the ski slopes. For a sleight charge you & your group can also be transported up to Park City slopes & back. They also offer a free shuttle service to & from nearby Heber for shopping or the airport. This property is about 50 times better in every way than their pretentious competitor, "The Zermatt" which is situated directly across the street. The Homestead exceeds them on every level including value for your dollar. They offer a delicious and expansive brunch on Sundays. Full menu service every day of the week. This property is legendary in the community. It's also the site of the old "Snyder's Hot Pots"...an attraction that survives to this day. Bring your swim suit...even in the snow of winder. There's a comfortable entry way to a natural wonder on site: The Homestead Crater. You can swim around or even scuba dive in it for a small additional fee. if bringing a large family or other sizable group ask about the availability of their condos. The condos are lovely and are kept in very nice shape. I would avoid renting any of their full house rentals without seeing and approving interior photos first. The only one of those we rented was not as well maintained as it could have been. it's been my experience that the management of this fine property is always receptive to guest input. They are extremely accommodating. Problems can arise at any hotel or resort..what matters most to me isn't that they happen...but what, if anything, does management do once alerted? What a beautiful time of year to visit an awesome location! I originally went to dip into the Crater hot spring but stumbled into Fannie's Grill first. I was seated outside in the sunshine under a cloudless azure sky in a gentle breeze OMG...This is the life! My server was with me quickly (as they were absolutely dead at 9AM on a Sunday). I ordered Huevos Rancheros and no-lie it was on my table in about 4 minutes flat. Everything was carefully prepared and I enjoyed the fresh flavors. Later I went to the Crater for a soak, on a busy SCUBA day. I believe it was $17.25 for all day. Staff was friendly...Had a wonderful time and drove back to SLC. I was in town for a conference and through a mistake by the conference organizers, my reservation got cancelled (and I found out the night before). The Homestead was fully booked but called me back later that night to let me know what had happened on their end and reassure me that they would call if there was a late cancellation. The next day, about an hour after booking another hotel room, I got a call from the Homestead with the news that they did have a room. We stayed at this resort 2 nights, as we were attending a conference in their Pavillion. The property is stunning. Wish we would have known about the hot spring crater!! We would have brought our bathing suits. The staff was excellent. Our room was fine. We stayed in the Garden Cottage. Connie, the waitperson in Fanny's restaurant, was so attentive, friendly and informative. We had breakfast there twice - all good. We had dinner and apps at Simon's restaurant - it was excellent! All-in-all, we had not one complaint or negative about this resort. We would definitely stay there again if we had another reason to visit Midway, Utah! read more

We only came for lunch and to swim in the crater, and it is a really cool place for the average joe. I just live in a town with one of the world's largest natural hot springs so what can I say, I am a hot spring snob :) Staff was extremely friendly and were the highlight of the whole trip there. We got snorkels when we came to swim, which I would definitely say skip. There isn't much to see in the water. You just kind of sit and float in the water. Honestly, it's like a 15 minute activity in my opinion. Not worth the $18 or whatever it costs on the weekends. Spent mother's day weekend with my significant other and child. Booked online for a purported discount rate. Room was fine, grounds were beautiful, housekeeping was stellar, and food was great. Service otherwise was HORRIBLE, and they kept hitting us upside the head with additional fees. We arrive to check in, and we are the only people at the desk. The desk attendant was instantly frazzled, trying to rush us in and out. Any questions we asked, he'd hand us a flier. He did take the time to ding us with a $15 per head additional resort fee on top of the online booking price. Meh. We ask about reservations for Mother's Day brunch the following day, and he directs us to the nearby restaurant concierge. The restaurant is closed, but will be opening soon. Nobody but us at the concierge desk, but the concierge is also inexplicably frazzled, and when we ask if there's a spot open for the brunch, it's like we asked him for the nuclear codes. Another couple arrives, and the concierge ignores them to fumble manically through the brunch reservation list. A moment or two later, he glares at the three young women (teens, perhaps) carrying a table to set up for the dinner service. The concierge and one of the young women proceed to loudly argue over who should deal with the couple trying to get a bite to eat. Concierge ultimately gets us a brunch reservation and stresses repeatedly he'll bill our room $25 a head if we no-show. Fair enough. Mother's Day brunch. The restaurant is about 3/4 full throughout our time at brunch. We are seated relatively quickly, but then wait ten minutes to be greeted by a server, and we order a couple of waters and an ice tea (these are gone in 15 minutes and never refilled). Our server drops off the drinks but neglects to tell us this is a buffet-style brunch. So after 20 minutes, we start following folks three rooms over to the buffet room. The spread is amazing, well worth the $45 price. Problem is, we don't see our server again until it's time for the check. We've got 5 plates of scraps that I bussed and stacked at the end of the table, doing my damndest to keep my 18-month-old from sending it all crashing to the floor. By the end of the thing, I'm annoyed. Server takes my card to run the check and, after about 5 minutes, I tell my partner I'm going to take the baby outside and she should tip ten percent for the shoddy service. Ten minutes later, server brings back the check with an automatic 20 percent gratuity included--on a two-topper. I've never heard of that before, but it explains why she ignored us for the better part of an hour. I get home on Monday, check my bank account, only to see they charged us the $25 no-show fee for brunch. We went to brunch, dammit! read more

Our room was filthy. Stains on carpet. Black bathtub drain. Shower curtain would not stay up. Outdoor plastic chairs filthy. Couldn't sit in them. I knew the resort was under construction so expected messy grounds and such. Never expected they would not be taking care current rooms. Pay the extra money and stay at Zermatt Resort. We visited for 2 days at the end of September due to the proximity to the Homestead Crater, which is a short walk from the rooms. The grounds were really pretty and it looked like they were setting up for fall. The "cottages" we're just homes that were separated into 3/4 different rooms. The buildings are old and not well cared for. 1. Rooms: old and dusty smelling decor. There was a thermostat that's my doesn't work (our room was 68-72 degrees even after they "fixed" it). The bathroom tub was stained and looked dirty. Carpet was very worn and dirty. No microwaves in the room. Lastly, you had to shove and pull the front door just to open and close it. 2. "Hot tub": the water wasn't hot and the jets weren't turning on. Asked the front desk woman if it was broken and her response was "it's old, it takes a little while to turn on". After 7 minutes they turned on and started jetting warm water into the "hot tub". 3. Wifi/Cable: there is NO cell phone service so you'll need to rely on their spotty wifi. Wifi wasn't working either and asked the front desk about that & again "it takes a while to turn on". Finally able to log on to wifi and it's slow. The cable TV doesn't work, kept showing lines and freezing. (Side note, while I was at the front desk I heard 2 other phone calls complaining about wifi and cable so I knew it wasn't a user error). 4. Front desk: simply, don't expect good customer service. You are an inconvenience to them. 5. Laundry room: the dryer didn't work. Started the load and when it was done, the clothes were still very damp. 6. Activity center: its a sad looking building with a pool table. They only do crater check-in; no horsebacking riding, bike rentals, or ATV rentals. Solely, crater check-in. So don't expect to do much activity. I really hoped this was going to be a "resort" as they claim; it's not. Save yourself and go to an actual resort or stay in Park City and drive in. read more

This is a classic and charming mountain resort. Would have given it five stars, but see other reviews that mention slow tub drains and plumbing. Still, the food is great, the property is peaceful, the landscaping is cheerful, and the beds are comfortable. We really enjoyed the porch on our garden view room. The crater is a unique hot spring experience. Waters were restorative and relaxing, but sharing the space with scuba divers or boisterous fellow soakers can be unsettling. read more

The room was clean and nicely decorated, the staff were all friendly and engaging, and the crater lived up to its reputation. We ate dinner in the restaurant and breakfast at Fanny's and both were very good. We also had a lot of fun discussing the ghost with the staff. Got their best room for a night for my wife and I. I have golfed here about 10 times and know the area but never stayed. Room was clean, bed was okay but it was in disrepair. Curtains were being held up by failing wall cleats. Doors were hard to shut. Food still in the fridge from the last guest. Paint peeling, just very worn. For the $250+ a night just not worth it. My family and I tried 4 times to rent golf clubs from Mike Jurca (we called in advance to ensure this was possible). First to just hit at the driving range, then to get a tee time and then to schedule a lesson the last two times. Each time he was less than helpful and turned us away for one reason or another. Another instructor validated that what we were asking was possible after our third failed attempt. I went back for a fourth failed attempt, and finally told him I thought he was being rude and condescending. He said I was now being aggressive and didn't know what I wanted from him. I said the first thing I'd like would be an apology to which he said he'd have me removed from the property. I can't remember encountering such a rude member of the service industry. It truly felt like he just didn't want us on the golf course. We did divulge that we were just getting back into golfing and we're slightly uncomfortable playing as we didn't want to risk stray balls (I can sometimes slice pretty badly) or playing too slow. However, he didn't want us in the driving range or taking lessons either. Thankfully, I had the opposite experience with Shelby at the front desk who took it upon herself to apologize on behalf of Mike. She exemplified excellent customer service and did everything in her power to help recover our poor experience at the clubhouse. My advice: go to the resort but beware of Mike Jurca if you want to play golf. read more

We came here for the crater and the staff was very nice. we were late for our reservation but since it was a week day and nobody was really there they were nice enough to let us go anyway. I would say there's no cheaper way to waste time in utah when you're in town for Sundance. The only thing is we did expect the water to be hotter, it was just like floating in a giant lukewarm bath. The Homestead is an interesting place. It is laid out like a homestead...several large "houses" laid out in a circular pattern around a fountain. Pros - Homestead is a fairly kid friendly resort. Kids get a free sample of fudge, can play a free round of mini golf across the road at Zermatt (the course is strange...no bumpers and missing more than half the flags), swim in the pool or play on the playground. The indoor pool and hot tub are warm. The rooms (we stayed in The Shaker House) are a good size with a private back patio balcony. The bathroom vanity is a double vanity and fairly spacious. The beds are comfortable as well. Cons - the rooms are fairly clean but needed some maintenance. For instance our room had a dresser with drawers that, when loaded with clothes would not stay shut. The sauna and pool are could use some detailed maintenance as well. The restaurants are fairly pricey for the food. I have no problem paying for good food. My concern is that The Homestead feels like a family resort but it doesn't have a family friendly place to eat. Overall The Homestead feels like a resort with a less than strong identity. I see much more potential than is produced. It's a quaint family feel with reasonably priced rooms. The place could use some upgrading and a better place for families to eat. It's a good place for a quick getaway for a family if you live in the Salt Lake Valley. read more

Purchased a voucher from KSL, figured it would be a great one night getaway. The pictures are much more appealing than the resort itself. The woman at the front desk was polite. She told us about the "complementary fudge" but then the gift shop was already closed? Might want to keep some at the check in desk?!? And the roast your own smores (across the street at the Zermatt) - what a let down - a small natural gas firepit outside. I was hoping for a real fire. Our room was dark, cold, on the bottom floor. It felt like an old, dilapidated apartment complex. All I could smell out the front door was the odor of the horse carriages. The drive up there was more enjoyable. This could be fun for children but don't fall for the romantic getaway advertisement. I was so uncomfortable we drove back to Salt Lake the same night. Rather sleep in my own bed. The restaurants are good, and the crater is a unique experience, but the lodging side can be a little overpriced. Parts of the homestead are updated and very nice, but it's not uniform. It's not hard to find areas that haven't been updated or really well maintained recently. We came in for 1 night to scuba dive at the crater, and this place was pretty nice. They area is beautiful and the staff seemed pretty cool as well. we only came here for the crater, and it was great! definately only a 1 - 2 hour activity though. It was a cool experience, floating in a giant crater, but I could see it getting crowded and that would definately lessen the appeal of driving out of your way to visit. you should call ahead and make a reservation, maybe ask to see how busy they are that day. we got lost so we were an hour late, but it was an off day, so we were ok. at times i felt like it was a bit dirty, the water looks murky and the dressing rooms are built directly onto the cave walls with flimsy wooden boards...it is absolutely freezing when you jump out of the water, esp in the winter, so be sure to run into a dressing room and change quickly. read more

We had our wedding at the Homestead and everything went perfectly. We ran the Wasatch 100 together and got married at the finish line, so Homestead, where the race ends, was a natural choice for accommodations and wedding festivities. 1) Homestead was accommodating and flexible to our needs. All the staff was professional, friendly and helpful. Amanda was particularly responsive and very detailed. Everything was set up on time and as expected or better. Pricing was reasonable (at least by our California standards!). 2) I have to say something about the food! Not only was it reasonably priced, including full service, but it was also delicious, with healthy portions. We got the pork loin as our main dish and shepherd's pie as the vegetarian option. Multiple people came up and told us how good the food was and some even thought that the dessert (lava cake) included with the meal was better than our wedding cake, which most people thought was also very good. 3) To say a little bit about the resort, it's nestled in a valley, surrounded by the beautiful Wasatch mountains on virtually all sides. The Wasatch state park is less than a mile away. Many of our guests enjoyed the golf course located adjacent to the park. The resort has a country-style, rustic feel, but with modern amenities. Our honeymoon suite was simply beautiful. Oh and there are hot springs everywhere! We couldn't have wished for a better wedding and highly recommend the Homestead to anyone. read more

We enjoyed a relaxing long weekend at Homestead Resort - 20 min from Park City - lots of dining and shops within 5 miles. Stayed one night! Accidently left my tee and capris on the bed! I thought my husband grabbed them! Returned home unpacked items were missing! I called the hotel immediately! spoke to Cami she checked front desk lost and found no luck checked house keeping L&F no luck! I called 2 days later left a message with front desk no one called me back! called 3 days later asked for a FDesk Mgr got Sara! I explained to Sara I only stayed one night only had two outfits the one I left behind and the one I want home and I wanted my items returned for sure they were left on the bed! She checked lost and found again with negative results I'm so disappointed because this all this only one explanation for where my items can be! In the possession of the person who cleaned the room! Integrity is integrity if I get my items back I will update this review but as of right now I doubt I will ever see my items again! beware.... read more

This resort was such a nice surprise. My husband and I stayed at this resort in March. We were there to finish our scuba diving certification at the Crater. The ground are beautiful and almost picturesque. It snowed the night we were there and was absolutely beautiful the next morning. The rooms were very clean and had comfy beds. The staff was also very friendly. Only setbacks: coffee maker and cups were on a shelf by the toilet. This felt a little weird and didn't entice me to turn on the coffee maker for that morning cup of java. Walk ways- it appeared that the staff doesn't shovel all the pathways to the rooms. It looked like they were trying to save money here. I'm sure this is okay, but it was spring when we visited. I'm sure it would have taken no more than 5 mins to shovel. read more

We stayed here just for one night while we were up doing the Heber Creeper Christmas Train (North Pole Express). Plus, we had to leave super early the next morning because of the bad snow storm that was along I15. Would have liked to have stayed longer, as it seemed like a beautiful property - maybe next time, as we like the Midway area. The only complaint I would have, is that the rooms seemed a little dated. Other than that, the rooms were clean, bathrooms a little small for my husband's taste. I believe there was a mini fridge in the room, and a coffee machine, and we liked having parking right outside our building. We also happened to do the sleigh ride - first snow one of the season! We loved it! Our guide was a nice young man from Colorado (don't remember his name), informative about the area, chatted with my husband. I would definitely recommend doing the sleigh ride if you're up there during the winter time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Midway/Heber area - I thought the room prices were reasonable, they have restaurants on site, and the rooms were clean and nice. read more

We recently stayed here while attending a conference. Sadly the "resort" has been neglected for years from the rooms to the grounds. The grounds in years past were immaculate but now overgrown plants, cracked cement, rotting wood railings, etc. As for our room, although it has newer bedding and a modern chair, it too desperately needs a facelift and at minimum a serious deep cleaning. Our carpet was so badly stained and dirty, I feared walking on it without shoes. We found "treasures" from prior guests including a dirty washcloth left hanging that indicated lack of attention from housekeeping. I thought maybe we just got the "one room", but I was traveling with co-workers whose carpet was also filthy along with "treasures" they too found left behind and lack of attention. Also the first day we returned at 5pm to find our room not yet serviced and 3:30pm the following day. I called the front desk and the manager was suppose to call me-which never happened. Although they did issue a small credit to our room. My husband and I have spent past anniversaries here and it's sad to see this once vibrant resort in such disrepair. If you stay here also note that they charge a $15/day "resort fee" for parking, fudge samples (we couldn't find), coffee and newspapers in the lobby, and wifi (spotty service). read more

I do not recommend this hotel. around one in the morning I had car trouble and no service went there for help their was no one at the desk I called out rang the bell and no one answered. their was a man loud snoring in the office so I shot over the door took some photos check my profile pictures. I got home at four but cannot sleep. I am never going there for holiday. read more

This was so fun! We were staying across the street for a wedding and stopped by the activity center to inquire about the crater. The lady at the front was super helpful and gave us the only time slot available, 6:30am. We went and had so much fun. It was freezing outside but inside was warm and the temperature of the water was perfect. The guy at the front was cool and helpful too. Would definitely recommend! I'm so glad we went. read more
