I didn't think that in 2017 people's commitment, word, follow-up, and execution mattered anymore. To Octavio, Ivan, Angelo, and the rest of Homestate, it does. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Octavio, Ivan, and Angelo. I immediately felt comfortable talking to them as if a trust or a bond already existed. This is rare. Octavio was my first point of contact and he has a natural ability to understand the sensitivities and concerns a homeowner experiences when making big family decisions. I would not have gone with Homestate if it was not for him. Ivan, the in-house Public Adjuster is well-mannered and knowledgeable and clears up any confusion about the damage with accuracy and conviction. The insurance adjuster had met him on other inspections in the past and completely respected his work and told me there is no one better. Angelo, the CEO/President, is accessible, genuine, transparent, and a good listener. Surrounding himself with a great team is a testament to the kind of leader he is and translates to the work performed and the relationship gained. They deliver a great product and a reputable install team and do not take shortcuts in their work. They want to win your business and they surely earn it because in my case, I am not easy to win over. Lastly, what impressed me the most in the beginning was their BBB accreditation A+ rating and 50 positive reviews, 0 neutral, and 0 negative. Homestate Construction/Homestate Adjusters is excellent company to work with. We had no clue how and when our house's roof was damaged by storm or hail. The company's personnel came out and help us to determine whether the roof was damaged and/or our insurance will cover the cost for replacement. They inspected very detail from the roof, around outside the house, siding, gutters, and windows and inside the house from ceiling to all walls... All they need was our home address and phone number. From there, they represented us to file the claim with our insurance, get permit from city/village and handle everything from the start to finish and everything was done absolutely professional. There were many people involved during the process including the company owner, material delivery gentlemen, and roof installation team all are very professional. However, our case was handled directly by Karolina who did a fantastic job of explaining very detailed and everything to us before the process started. She did exactly what she told us so you can expect more but not less from her. She kept us updated in every step, from claiming, getting permit, scheduling materials delivery, roof installation and approval from the city. We have a new roof now but we actually did not have to make a phone call or do anything. All works were done by Karolina and her company. Thank you all very much for your hard work and all what you did to help us. Working with Homestate adjusters and Homstate Construction, particularly Octavio was the best experience. I'm a single older woman who owns a home for the first time. Octavio came out and met with my insurance to look at damage to my roof due to a couple of recent major storms. He made sure they checked over every detail including ones my insurance did not. He carefully explained all the details so I knew everything happening along the way but he handled all of it with the insurance. The team who came out to install were prompt courteous and respectful. They did a fabulous job on my project. Octavio was there to inspect and watch over my whole project. I am highly impressed with the care and quality! They made sure everything was done properly! Homestate Adjusters made the process of getting a new roof amazingly painless. They did initial roof inspections, worked with our insurance company on all of the paperwork and we had a new roof installed in no time! After the new roof was installed I had noticed one of our gutters had been damaged, I gave them a call and they came out the next day and fixed it, no questions asked.
