I started at the books and immediately found a book I have been looking for, for $5.99 that I could not find for less then $15 even on the used sites. Sold! I found the iced coffee maker with the milk frother I have been looking for for $25. (It's $99 other places.) I did not have time to really go further, and almost got trapped in the clearance Halloween section before making it to checkout. If Ollie's has any flaws, other then it feeling like a thrift store, it would be that the carts can't go outside. Having to haul a large coffee maker box and my bag out to my car was a bit of a feat! Also the lady who checked me out seemed nice but was really put out when I asked for a membership card. I told her, if she didn't want to do it, I could see if I could do it online, but would like a physical card. She finally just signed me up.

Nothing out of the norm here with this TJ Maxx location. Parking wasn't as bad as i thought it would have been during the holiday visit that I made. Now the stores condition would be a 3 because of the holidays rush - other than that normally a decent four star. The store had lots of bins in the aisles, for product needing to be put on shelves, so it made it harder to maneuver comfortably around the store and around other guests. I was almost ready to leave empty handed, when I wandered by the toy aisle, then I hit the mother load. I walked out with cabbage patch dolls, frozen 2 toys and Outdoor sand toys. If you are a collector of Crystal, you hit the jackpot. I used my Zophi app to analyze some items, and I was looking at an eight dollar Crystal vase that was worth $120. Now this one had a chip in it, which was why it was only eight dollars still this store is a gold mine of treasures if you have an app that you can scan and have analyze the worth of these items. I have seen many collectors items in that store and that store is loaded with excitingly high-end donations This store is unique in that they actually have attended fitting rooms, where you're handed a buzzer when a fitting room opens and you can have your turn. That's how popular this thrift shop is. They have an amazing selection of clothing where you can find some designer labels, hats, bags, antiques, vinyl records, lots and lots of beautiful framed pictures for extremely good prices, they even have bridal wear. Their jewelry counter is so much fun where you can find vintage earrings for two or three dollars up to five dollars, gorgeous statement, necklaces, bracelets, and rings, it's hard to walk away from that jewelry counter with nothing. Behind the jewelry counter is a gated section where you're really high-end items are located. You do have to have permission to go through the gate, but it's worth it to see some of the absolute die for items. They have checkout counters with efficient volunteers, who are friendly, and they have bagging or boxes whatever you need. You can join and earn points for your purchases. Plenty of parking, very easy to get to location, and bonus they're right next to the Restore where you can check in for some super nice furniture at great prices and some other items if you're looking for furniture. But let's stick to Dorcas, don't miss it. They must have thousands of books, hard back two dollars, paperback one dollar, with a few exceptions. Another reason you can stay in there for hours. A bit disconcerting, almost like a black Friday experience! Right when you walk in you see shoes and then a discounted clothing rack. There are so many racks of clothing! They also had a nice selection of books, artwork, and housewares. All of the employees (volunteers?) were very nice and welcoming and helpful. Truly one of the friendliest thrift stores I have been to. The only things I didn't like were how busy it was but it is awesome so I guess it's only fair that so many people love it. The other thing is that some items were ridiculously priced...I didn't see an overwhelming amount of this but enough that I thought to mention. Overall a fun place to shop!

There were also multiple people in the store at least 5+ people also shopping and after we told her we were told different from the front end assistant she proceeded to scoff and role her eyes and stomp back to the back like a child throwing a tantrum almost . I'm a department manager as well at a much larger store and that is no way to treat customers that are in the store before closed.
