Is it TjMaxx? Is it Marshalls? Nope. It's HomeGoods. Hard to tell. They're identical stores. Isles too tight to navigate if another shopper decides to peruse that same isle. Shelves packed so tight with items that touching something is sure to create an avalanche of ceramic clatter. Do I buy something every time I walk into one of these stores? Absolutely! Again, nothing wrong with "HomeGoods". If you like shopping at "Kirklands" or "Gordmans", then you'll probably enjoy shopping here as well..seeing that they're all almost identical in product assortments. Personally out of the three, "Gordmans" is my personal favorite, but that might just be because it's been here the longest. It is still fun to hit all three in a row, sometimes one will have something slightly different than the others. A certain decoration, or accessory, or..I dunno..piece of discounted clothing. Overall, yes this is a nice store, but, once again, don't see the sense in the three stores being put up so close together..two in the same plaza. read more

This new HomeGoods location in Eastgate in surprisingly good - great selection of addictively cute homeware and the Halloween/fall decorations have been awesome. I say "surprisingly" good because the merchandise and selection that has been offered at several national chains retailers in Eastgate has been extremely inferior in quality or options - and the feedback that we have received in at least two stores has confirmed this. For example, we have been to the Bed, Bath & Beyond and the DSW looking for specific items and the employees told us to "Go to Hyde Park, that is the rich people stuff and we don't carry that here". WHOA! My only real complaint about this HomeGoods is how aggressive the cashiers can be with trying to get you to open a store credit card. We are talking in-your-face, repeatedly after multiple rejections, abrasive aggressiveness. I had one lady all but tell me I shouldn't be buying so much if I wasn't going to take advantage of this subliminal credit card offer that would save me 20% off my first purchase ("Are you SHUUUUUUUUURE you want to buy this? Wow you're already at $100, wow, are you shuuuuuure you should buy this without opening a credit card? Are you shuuuuure?"). She was still babbling about how I should re-consider and open the credit card ("You can use it at TJ Maxx, Marshalls...!") even after I had paid and was packing up to go. In seeking to do a return with receipt and tag on and unused and in new condition..just evidencing it was an unused item...the cashier was rude. There's policy and then there's attitude. Employees cant control the former but have full control over latter. Rudeness. Contempt. Snarky. Awful, nay, the awfullest customer no-service! read more

This is my new favorite HomeGoods. They have a ton of merchandise and a lot of clearance. I like the thrill of the hunt so I enjoy the fact that their shelves are packed. This is in a great location next to a Michael's, Kirkland's, and Jungle Jim's. The employees were very nice and accommodating when I told them I couldn't take the love seat I was buying. This location will definitely be my go to spot. read more

Really disappointed with the Manager's attitude...I offered to buy a $29 wooden desk set if she would discount it because the corner was chipped off...it was noticeable...she was rude made me feel like an idiot for asking for a discount...said she would take 10% off...I told her to keep it...I won't be back to this store not because I didn't get offered a reasonable discount but because the manager was rude about it. read more

Worst customer service!!!! After spending an hour and a half shopping for decorations I went to the register to check out. The items i selected were marked down holiday items that were in an area with multiple signs indicating an additional 50% would be applied at the register. The cashier would not honor the discount that was posted on signs. She said the discount ended yesterday and the sign shouldn't be up. Then another cashier came up and explained that the prices marked were the discount. I then provided a picture of the sign that clearly says additional 50% to be taken at register. Even asking for a manager they would not honor the discount. I have never heard of a store that did not honor an offer that was clearly displayed even if they mistakenly left a sign up. I left all of my items on the register counter and walked out. I will never shop at this store again!! read more

I was excited to have a homeGoods within 10 min of my house. This HomeGoods is a cluttered, stacked, maze of junk! They have too many items for the store size so there are items stacked in the aisles and you can barely walk through with your cart and theres constantly someone asking you to move, a few aisles are dead ends because they decided to stack items there (its a maze). Several tables were wobbly. There was not a flow to the store home items were just everywhere which made my shopping time extra long. Although I past many employees no one offered to help. The maze of all the items in this place is a fire hazard! I went to rookwood today and wont he back to Eastgate location. read more

I purchased a table but ended up returning it the very next day. I am still waiting on my money to be returned into my bank account. I returned the table on November 1st and it is now the 14th and I still do not have my money back. I called after 7 days when nothing showed up spoke to a "fill in" manager who said it may take up to 10 days.....so no money returned yet so I guess more calls are in order.. this is ridiculous. read more
