I also love that they have clearance sections scattered throughout the store. That said, this location is pretty disorganized and cluttered. Sometimes there's stuff on the floor, and you'll find mismatched things shoved onto shelves. Part of the fun of HomeGoods is digging through everything to find hidden gems, but I think this location could definitely be more organized. I also think some of the clearance items are a little ridiculous because some are literally broken or missing pieces. I don't really understand why those are being sold in the first place, just donate or recycle it! Still, I love HomeGoods and could spend forever looking around here! I especially love the discounted name brand foods I can find in the grocery section, especially including specialty teas and protein snacks!

When I moved to the east side of Cincinnati, I had hopes that the Eastgate Store was just as great. It was not, as least not in the Framing Department. When I visisted, a male staff member in the framing department was rude and condescending. He did not make me feel welcome, and didn't seem interested in helping me select and order a customized frame. I tried at least twice to make the conversation more positive, but it only resulted in me feeling frustrated and let down. I ended up buying an off-the-shelf frame. On a positive note, I did speak with a manager about my experience before I left. She listened, asked questions, thanked me for the feedback, and said she would address it. I later returned to the store and return the frame I purchased without any issues.

I did find a few pajama sets and a couple of other things before we needed to tend to my daughter's nose bleed. The staff member who helped us came by and inquired if she was 'ok'. The store is organized however there are some sections that are cluttered. So it's kinda like Aldi find, once the items are gone, that's it. We left out only spending $29.00. I must note, I visited about a week before Christmas so the organization and fully stocked is not normally seen at places this time of year!!! If you aren't familiar with Big Lots it is toted as a discount store. There are brand name things found here, as well as their own branded items. As with anywhere, do your research as somethings here are a great deal, and others can be found cheaper elsewhere. What I consistently find I buy at Big Lots is things under their own brand. These items include such things as everyday home decor, and seasonal decor (Christmas, Valentines, St Pats, Easter, outdoor etc). Somethings you might find here include furniture (which they have now upgraded and have some higher end names such as Broyhill), workout gear, everyday home decor, rugs, bed and bath linens, pet toys/beds, household cleaning, non perishable food, personal care, seasonal decor for holidays as well as a huge outdoor furniture and decor section, and even a small hardware section. If you sign up for their free rewards club you'll receive periodic coupons (not an obnoxious number of emails). Every employee I came across here greeted me and I asked if I needed help.
