Love it came here yestersay with my family. Easy to get to bowling spot. Many parking spaces available. On Sunday the shoes are 2$ and 3$ per person that's decent. I went with a group of 7. This alley does not accept card payments; only cash! We walked in on a Saturday afternoon and there were about one or two parties in inside. Places of business who do not accept card payments need to get with the times. Not interested in paying atm fees (which is in the alley) so we left. This bowling alley gets PACKED at night, every night!!! Parking can get a little hard inbetween leagues. However, the wood is super nice to bowl on and the lanes are well maintained and oiled and the bowling alley is clean and very large. They have lots of fun leagues and events going on here. There is a thing when you first arrive that you can scan to get 2 hours for price of 1 hour. It's STUPID if you don't do this. If you are used to "grumpy" bowling people and the bowling culture and if you are New York tough, you will love this bowling alley. Super Reasonable in prices. My girlfriend and I Went on a Friday night . It was very crowded due to championship games so we was asked to wait a half hour for a lane so we sat at the food counter to eat. The food was pricy but I expected that. The server was very nice and attentive even though it was only her and a very large crowd to attend to . Only reason why I wouldn't give them 5 stars , after waiting 45 mins for our lane the guy at the front had NERVE to tell us to please wait until the lane next to us finished bowling because that was one of his championship teams... like whatttt how dare you lol . other than that it was cool so I would go again but definitely at an earlier time. read more

Been going here since I was a kid. Not much has changed which isn't a good thing. The place still has a funny smell the food isn't as good and the graphics are from the 90s. If you're up for nostalgia then go here if you want to actually bowl go somewhere else. Now that being said this place still has cool games and now a store to purchase bowling items. Part of the charm of this place is it's dated. They don't have new score boards or a fancy place but it's still a nice place that isn't gross. I have my own shoes and ball and so I only pay $3 on Sunday when I come. The chairs are comfy and the bathroom is clean as well. Staff is nice but I should note they are cash only. Great concessions. Nice burger and fries, the way you remember them from the 70s. Bowling specials. A great local place. Sometimes their neon loses it and it says Home Owl. I'm not a fan of the new, overpriced nightclub-type bowling alleys. Homefield is a great old school style place. If I'm looking for a fun night out, this is always my top choice. I always start with 2 games and end up buying at least 2 more. They have varying deals most days which are posted on their website. Leagues usually take over most of the lanes most weeknights so call ahead to check if lanes are available. If there's a wait, the bar is fun and serves complimentary popcorn. Perfect spot for a date and oh...they have the best. French fries. Ever. read more

Not a bad bowling alley at all. A little old...but the lanes are in great condition and well maintained. No major issues with the pinsetters, ball return, scoreboard, etc. Prices are pretty decent with tons of good specials. I did the Monday morning brunch and bowl this week and it was a great deal. $13 for 3 games and food..(not sure if it includes shoe rental or not though). Great deal and I had a lot of fun. My only complaint here is the staff isn't the most friendly. I experienced it a little for myself and have heard several other people complain about them. read more

I wanted to go bowling but not brace the Disneyland atmosphere (and pay Disneyland prices!) at Bowlmore-and I found this place. Ever see the Big Lebowski? This is that kind of place, complete with 70's original decor and middle aged folks who take bowling seriously. This place has character. Teresa the bartender was super welcoming and told us all about various specials they have. Haven't tried the food yet but they do have a menu and full bar. Highly recommended. read more

Not the greatest bowling alley to go to but it's the worst bowling alley you can go to!! This was my first time here and I tried something different but this place is down for the dumps and I am not going back! Here's why: 1. The old lady at the front desk has a terrible attitude. She slammed the change all over the counter which some change fell on the floor and when she handed us our bowling shoes , she slammed them too and gave us a look. Poor customer service skills!! 2. The lockers are all beat up looking, most of the locks were broken, and they are not secure to hold your items safe, and I didn't trust these lockers they have here. If they can afford brand new flat screen LG TVs for each of the 30 bowling lanes they provide here, why don't they upgrade the lockers and even the lanes themselves. 3. The snack bar is the worst! Make sure you eat something else before you come here! I know you won't be expecting a full course fancy meal, but the food here is expensive and I'm not trying to be cheap either but for the prices not worth it! A damn hamburger is $8.00 plus "tax" which the burgers I saw were disgusting thank god I didn't order that! And their food is all frozen and not fresh because I saw them take their food out of a huge white freezer, which I'm guessing they have no time to cook real food!Their pizza slices are horrible and their trying to be the best pizza shop on the block but they are not! Worst food ever!! And so unhealthy! 4. The bowling lanes themselves: the computer monitors to put your names in was so complicated! The keyboard to type each name for bowling was difficult and you had to press very hard and even a few times to get one letter. Today was mommy and daughter day. I spent it with my 19 year old. The man who attended to us was great, friendly and helpful. We place 2 games and I best her in both games. My only problem was the people with the children next to us. There kids kept getting in our lane before we would bowl. However, it will not discourage me from going back. I loved it. read more

A great place to bowl. The lanes are very well maintained as this Place serves a huge number of leagues that are very serious about their bowling. They do kids parties, and I've seen many old folks bowling here. It has the air of a family run business which is always nice. The other day they asked everyone for a moment of silence while they congratulated this old couple celebrating their 92nd birthday! Now that's nice. They can be a bit pricier than the other gig on the other side of town, but the air of seriousness in my opinion warrants it, and for this user is well worth it. read more

Brought the entire family here during Christmas vacation. It was a Friday mid-day The place was packed, there was a waiting list. The VERY SMILEY and nice women behind the desk was extremely polite and funny. She couldn't tell us how long the wait would be but told us to make our selfs comfortable and maybe get a bite to eat while we waited for our name to be called. We couldn't of waited more than 10 minutes to get the 2 lanes the 9 of us required. The alley itself has a homey old feeling. There were even balls light enough for the 3 year old to lift. The light balls even had 5 finger holes in them. There's automatic gutter stoppers that go up for some and down for others. AND OF COURSE video games.The graphics on the monitors were great! Our food was hot and the proportions were good as well as reasonably priced. WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN!! After reading some of the other reviews we were prepared for cranky employees. THIS is NOT what me or my family experienced. Although it was extremely busy the smiley red head came out to help us a few times and the skinny guy that worked behind the scenes also seemed helpful and smiley.
