I paid for the service and no one showed up for 2.5 months and then without a call or any contact someone showed up. Luckily I was home. I then tried to get a hold of them and it was impossible. They did finally get a hold of me to let me know they were canceling my subscription as I asked because they were not professional in sending someone over with no notice also said they were charging me 189.00 for a service I thought I was getting for 49. I also worked with the cleaner for 3 hours because I thought I was paying that much so I just had her do the bathroom and kitchen. This is a disaster for a company to find a housekeeper elsewhere. read more

Do not let these people into your home. What you will get is set up to be robbed through their membership of 49.00 a month PLUS 2 cleaners came to clean for a total of 2 hours 15 mins and charged me 196.00 for the 2 hours. Beyond that they moved everything around did not put anything back in its proper place. I had to tell them to go back & clean behind the head board and behind & under the night stands. Shower floor was never cleaned. This company is a rip off read more

Never use this company, Not only is this service a scam, I had to file a police report with Denver Police. Afterward, they withdrew money, totalling over 500.00 from all of my accounts. I canceled with them, and Emma attempted to explain I needed to just request cleaning. I also complained to the BBB, as well as the colorado attorney general. Never use them for any reason read more

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! SCAM! Cleaners no call/no show, customer service and contact numbers are practically nonexistent. Horrible!

Scammers. If it sounds too good to be true, it is. I booked my first appointment and they did a decent job cleaning. The introductory rate was fine and I left a tip. But the guy was on the phone a lot cleaning one-handed, so I chose another crew for my cleaning today. I asked them to clean the windows, for which I paid and extra hour, but they said it wasn't on the order. I said OK, just clean the rest. They decided to leave without cleaning a thing, saying that they were afraid I'd ask for a refund and Homeaglow would not pay them anything. Now I will be having a party tomorrow with a house that never got cleaned, and nobody returning calls from Homeaglow. When I cancelled, they tried to charge me almost $200, but luckily my bank immediately classified this company as FRAUD. Stay away from these thieves. Wish I could give them a much lower review than 1 star. read more

I truly believe that this company generates profit from the cancellation fees. I wanted to cancel after having a no-show twice, but I'd already paid for six months. The only cleaner who actually showed up was a guy who could not process the direction I gave him. He was so slow and stayed in my kitchen for hours. I finally told him again that I didn't need to have my kitchen cleaned. I needed a guest bathroom cleaned and he went to the main bathroom, which we never use, and sprayed something all over the shower glass and floor. When I told him that was not the right bathroom, he left the spray all over the room and moved on to the guest bath. He mopped the floors and said that he's "out of here" after three hours, but charged me for four hours. I eventually was refunded for that hour, but he texted me requesting a tip. I obliged only because I felt sorry for him. Next three cleanings were all no-shows (one on a day I was expecting guests). Today's guy texted me at 1:20 am stating that he was in the ER with a broken femur. Later text said that he's rescheduled for two days from now. I responded, "How can you clean my house with a broken femur?" This is a very disappointing experience. Homeaglow is a joke that's not funny! read more

The cleaners were okay. However, the company itself is basically a scam. They lock you into a monthly subscription without being clear about it and if you cancel early they overcharge you for services. They claim the subscription is to get reduced rates for the cleaners. They told me it would be a certain hourly charge for the cleaning, but when they charged me it was significantly higher. They also charge an additional fee each time for "providing the service" which I would think would have been part of that monthly charge. When I complained, they said they would assign me a different cleaner whose rate was lower, but when I got the charge it was not for the lower rate as promised. They have no phone number to contact them and the chat just gives a list of the cleaners and no agency person. Their website is useless. My first cleaner broke a statute and said he would replace it but never did. The agency does nothing about this, they just say talk to your cleaner. read more

BEWARE of this company. When you purchase the voucher they also sign you up for a $49/month membership fee. The fee does not get applied towards cleaning. The website says you can cancel at anytime however, when I did cancel they charged me a $175 early cancellation fee. This type of "fine print" trap is unethical, misleading, and borders on predatory behavior. If you have been impacted by this company you can contact the same places I have: file a complaint with your states attorney general office, submit an inquiry to ClassAction.org, file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). read more

i signed up with Homeaglow. They changed cleaners 3 times. They changed the time without asking, then no one came. I took off for them to come. NOw i am trying to cancel from this nonfunctional business. HOMEAGLOW DOES NOT HAVE A PHONE NUMBER. Now, they are scheduling all on there own, not asking me if the date is ok to come into my house. This business has no phone, they rescheduled my first cleaning without asking me if i was going to be home. THERE IS NO WAY TO COMMUNICATE WITH HOMEAGLOW. I HAVE CONTACTED BBB AND DOJ OF COLORADO HILDY read more

My neighbor provided a link to a free four hour house cleaning. I requested the cleaner pay attention to the floors and dusting which is all she did, and did poorly. The floors were streaked and still dirty, dusting was haphazard with most surfaces ignored. She left the tap on in the guest bathtub which I discovered four days later. The tap is difficult to close, but why she didn't notify me or ask for help is a mystery. Needless to say, I wrote a poor review and cancelled my next appointment. Then I discovered Homeaglow charged me twice for the free cleaning! Then they charged me for early termination of the contract. What contract?! Despite many back and forth emails, there is still no resolution. The company doesn't value long term clients, seeming to seek quick profits and move on. The cleaners are contractors, so there are no real consequences for Homeaglow. Overall, steer clear of this group. They will not provide the services nor the quality you want if you really want a clean home. read more

these guys are horrible i had a one time cleaning paid for 6 hours and was told 2 gals would come and clean for 3 hours they stayed for an hour and left couldn't tell they were even there, than I got billed for the next month and today again another charge, i was told if i cancel it would cost me $100 i never signed up for a membership. cant call them SCAM!!!!!!! DONT DO IT THEY SUCK!!! read more

This company has zero transparency with their pricing. I read the terms and conditions and service contract prior to joining, and there was nothing about what they will really charge you if you decide to cancel early. It's about 3 times more than their ads and documents say. And the company rep continued to be vague and lack transparency when I addressed the issue with them, although they did agree to cut what they wanted to charge me to cancel in half, but only after I threatened to sue them. Furthermore, they nickel and dime you with their cleaning pricing, too, so it won't be as inexpensive as they make you believe it will be. BEWARE! read more

lol yelp removed my first review. I used this service, was scammed out of hundreds of dollars, and the owner has absolutely no remorse or empathy for customers whatsoever. her goal is to take as much money as she can, without consideration for repeated desperate pleas for assistance. the service provided was weird- I hired one cleaner, two showed up, and I still had to reclean my house afterward. I do not recommend this company at all. complete waste of money lining someone else's pocket during the hardest year of my life. read more

They failed to show up three straight times and have zero contact info. They cancel less than 10min before they are supposed to start

This is a scam they will bill you for membership for six months and make it super hard to cancel when your ridiculous membership contract finally ends. Terrible business. read more

Terrible program, stay away. Cleaners were okay but I tried to 'ride out' the original commitment and they got me on an automatic renewal because my timing was slightly off. Now I'm being penalized with a $179 "early cancellation" fee. I stayed and paid for 6 mos... this isn't right and they just don't care. In fact they probably thrive on this type of bad faith. If I could give this company zero stars, I would. The reason I chose this company is because they state that they background check all of their housekeepers and that they are bonded and insured. Last week, my cleaner Breanna showed up at my house with someone to help her clean who would not give me his name when coming into my home. It made me extremely uncomfortable -- enough that I stayed to keep an eye on things during the cleaning. He was obviously not with Home Aglow or back ground checked. He was also not bonded and insured. After that scary cleaning, I switched cleaners. Yesterday, my new cleaner, Sonia, stated she was " running late and on my way to pick up two people to help me clean." I messaged Home Aglow customer service about this and they said she could only bring people to my home who are approved. I told Sonia this and she said that she was told by Home Aglow that she could run this like her own company and bring whomever she wanted to my house to help her. Then, she never showed up. I let the company know that my cleaner did not show through their website so that I would not be billed for a cleaning that never happened. I also tried to contact customer service about the problem of bringing unapproved cleaners to my home. I left 4 voicemails and attempted 6 times to get a response through their messaging. Each time, the message was a link to their FAQ page which is obviously not helpful. Because the company is allowing non Background checked and non bonded or insured people into my home, I cancelled my "Forever Clean" membership with them. When I cancelled this membership, they immediately stole $204 from my account for cancelling! This is completely dishonest -- especially since they are not standing by their guarantee of having background checked, bonded and insured cleaners working in people's homes. If you want to keep your home and family safe (not to mention your bank account!) RUN from this company! They are as dishonest and scary as they come read more

Whatever you do, do not use this company schedule a cleaning for today seven days prior reconfirmed with the cleaners supposedly two or three times over the weekend no-show as scheduled for today. As everybody else noted, there's no way to get a hold of these people, I did have $130 charge out of my account and of course you can't get an answer from anybody. Worst value out there biggest scam on the planet, do not use these people run away read more

READ THE FINE PRINT w/ THE SOCIAL MEDIA PROMOS IF YOU DON'T WANT EXTRA FEES/ SUBSCRIPTIONS. This is not a one-time deal and when you try to cancel the subscription they auto-sign you up for, they charge you an additional $151 fee for cancelling. I asked to cancel over the phone (they don't answer phone calls, but will respond in an email suggesting other cleaners and providing you with a $20 credit to use them again). Not to mention, the cleaner that came over had a broken vacuum- I offered for her to use mine- but she insisted on running to the store to get tape to fix hers, which took about 30-40 mins of cleaning time to do. She was in and out, taking phone calls. I did not get the 3 hours alotted and only a small fraction of my services were addressed. Rest assured I will make sure everyone I know is aware of this poor experience. I'm a single mom who won't make rent this month because Homeaglow has "strict policies". So much for caring about their customer's well-being. I practically begged them to waive the fee, but it won't happen. read more
