Sad at the deception

When you purchase a cleaning voucher, they don't tell you up front that when you schedule the cleaning, you are agreeing to a SUBSCRIPTION cleaning service. That's in the fine print. And if you cancel before your 6 months are up, you have to pay a cancellation fee. Also in the fine print. And I've been fighting for a refund over email, which seems to just be encouraging me to schedule and not answering my questions, concerns or addressing the fact that I'm done with them and just want my money back for my unused voucher. Poor customer service and very deceptive marketing.

HOMEAGLOW: Dust on the back of a pitcher - that had supposedly been dusted by a Professional.

STOP HOMEAGLOW. I just had insulation blown into my walls. Old house, leaky everything. So there's a fine coating of insulation dust on EVERYTHING. All I wanted from a home cleaner was dusting. Sadly, I fell for the $19 introductory offer on TV. From the get-go this business was a mess. 1st cleaner canceled. 2nd cleaner confirmed a time/date that I hadn't requested. I corrected him (via text). No confirmation of change, but he showed up at the right time. Didn't have his own tools, and used my vacuum. The 1st thing he touched was a Waterford crystal vase. Says He: It just fell apart when I touched it." sigh. I left him to his own devices, hoping I had hired a Professional. (cringing every time I heard something hit the floor.) The SECOND his time was up, he beat feet. Not a word. Just tail-lights in the distance. In 3 hours he had dusted 3e 5' shelves, and the top of the TV console. Checking later I found that he had only waved the vacuum nozzle at the front of things. This is what the back of things looked like. I am now fighting with them to cancel the secret hidden contract, that locked me into a subscription: $50 A MONTH + $50 AN HOUR FOR CLEANING. I hope this review can save someone from this horrible HORRIBLE service. (I am currently on hold with HOMEAGLOW. . . . . . . . it's been 15 minutes.)

To quote 'Guy', this company loves honest reviews. Even if my review is 1 star it will still give…read morethem volume and flow. So here is my honest review: You would be better served using another company that operates with honesty and integrity! Filled out the project request for a move in/move out cleaning service on Yelp and listed the MAX number of bedrooms and bathrooms (4 or more) allowed on the survey. Photo included. I received an estimated quote (NO specifics were provided with the quote) and a follow up message asking if I needed appliances cleaned.  I specified the number of appliances and confirmed the date and time for service. The day of service I received a message with a higher than estimated cost (no cost breakdown was provided) and instructions to prepay. Towards the end of the service, I received a call asking me to check the work that had been completed and see if I needed anything else. It was at this time that I noticed one of the appliances that I had put in my original request (I showed the cleaners my text and later sent a screenshot to the company) was not completed. As the team was taking care of this, I started receiving messages from someone named 'Guy'. Guy tells me that I have to pay more for the additional appliance. Since I already paid more than the estimated quote, I didn't agree with this.  Then Guy tells me that my estimated quote was for a 4/4 bed/bath home followed by a screenshot of my Zillow home estimate showing 4 beds and 5 baths. When I put my information into YELP I put in the max bed/baths allowed. I reiterated this during our phone call. Now if the company's practice is to pull up Zillow home estimates, this should have been done BEFORE you sent me the amount due on the morning of service. PERIOD! YOU should have specified the number of beds/baths the estimated quote covered which would have given ME the opportunity to correct it if needed. This should not be used as an EXTORTION tactic to get more money at the end. Nor should this be used as an attempt to appear as though you gave me some kind of concession on the service. Nothing I've said in this review is inaccurate. Use the same approach you use with scammers when they try to 'continue the conversation' and keep you texting or on a call. Hang up and block. Overall, bad business practices. Hope this helps!

Franco's team has delivered, and I've been highly appreciative, and impressed, with Mary and team, Sol, helping me monthly since January, for the past 5 home cleanings, or so, and counting. Mary, my head house cleaner, listens attentively, and I can trust her to deliver high quality work, listening to my needs and preferences. I also recently hired Franco's Home Cleaning for exterior and interior window cleaning, and they did a better job than professional window washers, who used pressure washers! Mary and team, Sol, attentively cleaned all windows, by hand, even correcting the exterior window cleaning that was done last year, as well as dusting and cleaning the interior of the windows. The price was also extremely fair. I can't recommend Franco's Cleaning Service highly enough! He is also an expert communicator, and his whole team is trustworthy, respectful, friendly, and helpful, while arriving on time, and performing high quality work!
