5280 cleaning did a great job, they were professional, on time, and thorough. I would recommend them. nice job !

Reached out about a quote and heard back the same afternoon. They had an opening for a deep clean the very next day, and the cleaner showed up a few minutes ahead of schedule. read more

Alma and Aracely cleaned our house today. When they were done, it was spotless, with a clean, fresh smell. They were quick, cheerful, and extremely professional. I'm so impressed with their service. I'm also happy with the price, knowing that it's an employee-owned business that pays a living wage. I fully recommend 5280 House Cleaning read more

I have been using 5280 for house cleaning for over a year. Initially, they provided excellent service with reliable staff. However, since just before Christmas last year, there have been continuous staff changes with each cleaning. As a result, I find myself repeatedly having to re-instruct the new staff on my expectations. It has become a gamble as to whether my house will be thoroughly cleaned when they leave. Today, while the crew did a decent job overall, they broke my sliding patio door and failed to inform me. If I had not been home, my house would have been left unsecured with an open and unlocked door. When I contacted the company about this issue, the staff claimed they "thought I was outside." However, I had made it clear upon their arrival that I would be downstairs in my office if they needed anything. Furthermore, one of the housekeepers even tapped on my office door to inform me they were leaving, which contradicts their claim that they thought I was outside. The bottom line is that if I cannot trust the staff to communicate when there is a problem and they are willing to lie when questioned, I cannot trust them in my home, especially if I am not there to oversee their work. When I first contracted with 5280, the consistent crew made me confident in recommending them. Unfortunately, the quality of service has significantly declined. I have no idea who is coming into my home, and the quality of cleaning is inconsistent. I have tried to work with them for several months, and they repeatedly tell me they will "send their best crew," promising that it will be a consistent team. Now, not only is there inconsistency, but I also cannot trust who they are sending to my home. read more

This is a bit delayed because these folks were here a week ago, but after a long weekend, we came home last night to a clean, clean house. Not the first time because we've been customers for a long time, but they're great. Totally recommend. Thank you!!! read more

Prompt, exceptional quality, worth every penny. I had them once a month for a house with three adults plus dogs and occasional kids. I needed a deeper clean than I had time to do and that my senior mom could not do. I'm glad I hired them. read more

Alma and her crew are always great! They are respectful of our property and clean everything nicely. Would recommend!

This company is excellent with cleaning our house. They are easy to communicate with and they will easily change dates, if needed. They are always on time and the ladies who do the work are very kind! We have been using them for aprox. 4 years, and highly recommend them. read more

My roommate and I were quoted $420 for our 1500 square foot 2 bed 2 bath condo. Their website posts $32 per hour per cleaner for new customers. We set the appt for 2 cleaners. On the day they arrived, they sent 3 cleaners and I got a text saying our place was gonna cost us $520. When I spoke with them on the phone, I stated that I didn't agree with 3 cleaners, they told me the cost was $62 per hour per cleaner and they don't charge for the third. I spoke to them requesting to somehow keep it at $420. I asked for some sort of discount if possible since I'm a nurse and my roommate is an elementary school teacher (clearly, we don't make much in CO), I was told that there are no discounts of any kind. I still asked if they could please not add on another $100 (as $420 was still a lot to us for 1500 square feet). They did a basic clean rather than a deep clean apparently to cut off the $100. They didn't clean inside the oven, fridge, or vacuum anything other than visible easy to get to places. The only thing they did beyond what my roommate and I would have done was shampoo the carpets. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because they honored their original quote (after I basically had to beg them to) and because they shampooed the carpets. However, we still feel we basically got robbed of $416 dollars for a basic clean we could've done ourselves. Props to the people who can afford this company. But my roommate and I don't recommend them. read more

Contacted 5280 to schedule a moving clean, let them know that we were moving out of our house and need a deep clean / moving clean to prepare for showing our house. Called a week before and scheduled the appointment for Monday the following week. The scheduler suggested 2 cleaning people, 4 hours each for 1400 square feet. I had them move it to 3 people to ensure that the 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and dining room could be completed well. The next day the appointment was then moved to Tuesday of the following week. The following week on Monday I then called to confirm and was told they had to reschedule it to Wednesday due to snow and not being able to park their Prius on the street. Wednesday, the team showed up late and was unprepared for the deep clean. No one spoke English and the company couldn't bother to answer the phone when I called them to get a translator or translate. By the time the company did call, I had tracked down a translator and instructed the team what they needed to do. They were onsite for 6.5 hours, so for 3 people 19.5 hours (originally quote 8 hours). The scheduler let me know she would pass on my frustrations to ownership. I never heard from the owners and received a call a week later to verify payment information. Top to bottom just a completely unprofessional, average cleaning for a premium price. I have pictures of window sills that weren't even dusted during the 6.5 hours. Company didn't care. Recommend finding a more professional, quality service. If you can't quote to specific room counts and square footage and are off by + 100%, might be time for a different business. read more

I have used 5280 house cleaning in two locations, at an apartment and a house, for a move in and move out clean and they have been fantastic. They do an amazing thorough job, from dusting the ceiling fan to organizing/cleaning the refrigerator to dusting areas I don't even know exist. How they get my wood floors so clean I do not know, but it makes me jealous. It is a little spendy, but I am hoping that the fantastic workers get a bigger chunk of that than perhaps other places. All in all, I love them and get very excited to come home to a house they have cleaned! read more

They did an amazing job. I really appreciate the attention to detail. I decided to hire them for regular cleaning!

We used to be satisfied with this company's service (regular house cleanings), but as of late, the quality has been poor and the value awful. Rates have gone up significantly over the past year, which I understand given inflation, but we are now paying over $300 every two weeks for a very poor quality cleaning of our house. They don't appear to be dusting, our kitchen counters are almost always still dirty post-cleaning, and the vacuuming leaves a lot to be desired. Among those and other specific issues, there are different cleaners each time, resulting inconsistent quality and cleaning steps taken. Sometimes certain parts are cleaned, sometimes they're not. Add to that the language barrier, which makes it difficult to explain our issues. The cherry on top, and the reason we will no longer use them, is that while cleaning the stove top, one cleaner turned the knob for the gas valve which was open for more than an hour. The kitchen clearly smelled of gas, and somehow no one noticed despite them being in the room. When we came up and closed the knob in front of them, they said nothing. When we called to notify the company of this, they seemed unfazed and said they'd put it in their notes. This is not only unacceptable, but potentially very dangerous. We were lucky we were home, or else the gas could have been on for several hours. read more

I've been using 5280 to clean my home for a few years now. They are the best I've found! Yes, their prices are a bit higher than some others but for me, it's worth it. I'm very picky about details (such as dusting all of the blinds and pictures on the walls), and after each cleaning I check for thoroughness. They meet my expectations and I'm able to relax, knowing that everything has been done to a high standard. read more

We recently switched house cleaning services and could not be happier. They are very thorough with every single cleaning and are always prompt. Our house is sparkling but doesn't smell of harsh chemicals. read more

I tried with this company, I really did. I gave them plenty of chances, and they just kept screwing up. Whether it was putting trashcans on top of a clean bed spread while they washed the floors, an inability to follow instructions for how to clean a butcher block counter, or TAKING A TOILET BOWL CLEANING PUCK OUT OF THE TOILET AND PUTTING IT ON TOP OF MY FACIAL BAR, there was always something that made them not worth the hassle. As a customer, I should not have to explain to people why you don't take something out of the toilet and put it on a bar of soap. But, hey, maybe you'll have better luck with them than I did. read more

I have been using 5280 for two years now and have received some outstanding cleanings. Today was not only outstanding it was the cherry on top. My team, Bertha, Bonnie, and Lupe, arrived promptly despite the 6.5 inches of new snow. As soon as they got in, they attacked the house from top to bottom giving me the full allotted time. Floors were mopped and bathrooms were deep cleaned. What was the cherry on top? See photos, I smiled when I saw my toilet paper and paper towels. read more

I will use this business again. These ladies don't mess around. They just get to work. Our house is nice and clean!

SCAM-hired this company to clean an 1800sqft completely vacant home. Was quote $295 and then charged $495. Buyer be ware, they will rip you off for every penny they can read more

All I will say is, if you don't mind dinged walls and baseboards, have at it and use them. They are rough because they have to work fast. You may get great cleaners you may not. I can't tell you how many times they didn't watch a tub or clean a bathroom floor. If it looks clean it must be, right? Yeah, not going to pay exorbitant prices for mediocre work. Too bad the great cleaners are few and far between. read more

This is a well-organized, responsive and professional company. They are very flexible, and almost always able to accommodate scheduling requests even on short notice. Staff is respectful, efficient and thorough. They even cleaned out dusty bathroom vents that other cleaners had neglected (even though the other cleaners had been hired for a move-in "deep clean"),  did a quick wipe down of the inside of the fridge and hosed down the inside of our recycle bins. When I asked the staff to wear masks in the home, they were quick to comply, without making things awkward. Prices are a little steeper than other places, but the reliability, organization and thorough job is worth it! read more

5280 has cleaned my house for years. They are meticulous, flexible, and very professional. I've asked them to use my cleaning supplies for my hardwood floors and they cheerfully do. They consistently surprise me with their commitment to excellence. For example, I have five dogs in the house this summer: my three, my parents' dog, and my son's dog. *All* of them shed, and I have not been able to keep the floors clear of dog hair nor dirt. Yet every time 5280 has been here, they've somehow restored the floors to an immaculate, dog hair-free state. Today, they even hand-washed the dogs' food bowls and a five gallon chicken waterer. They always go above and beyond, whether by cleaning the inside of the refrigerator, taking extra care in a room that needs TLC, or making sure everything is ready and welcoming for houseguests. They are genuinely nice people as well. Highly recommend. read more

We've had lots of our real estate clients use 5280 House Cleaning and they have been consistent and done a good job for our folks!

My wife and I use 5280 Housecleaning when our house needs extra help. Last month we had our windows open on one of Denver's high-wind advisory days, resulting in a fine layer of dust and dirt on pretty much everything. Worse was that we were expecting out of town guests several days later. 5280 did not disappoint. They had a crew that was available within 2 days. They did a very good job getting all of the dust and dirt gone, plus doing a good job with the bathrooms, carpet and window sills. We were happy to be able to come home to a clean home as opposed to spending 2 nights after work cleaning it ourselves. Thank you 5280! read more

ANOTHER WONDERFUL JOB by 5280. You can read all my earlier reviews. Jovita and Graciele, sisters, matched earlier cleaners. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I trust 5280 implicitly. read more

good: VERY thorough cleaning. I had two maids that came that day. they did the blinds, vacuumed all my rugs, and even wiped down my leather sofa. On time as well. bad: some how one of the blinds got detached from the window and they just left it there. I didn't get a call or note from them saying sorry. I ended up having to get it fixed. When I called to complain about it, they wanted to see a receipt before offering any refund or money off. read more

We've been using 5280 for a monthly house cleaning for almost 2 years since our kid was born. SO WORTH IT. It makes such a difference to have someone come in and clean everything all at once rather than just the piecemeal chores my husband and I attempted to divide. We still have to clean between visits, but having someone help me dust and clean everything once a month has made me such a happier person. They do a GREAT job. I walk around my house for an hour gasping after every visit. I only subtract a star because the women that do the cleaning seem... a little bit harried. Are they treated okay? They seem fine...? I dunno. Love the service. read more

Great customer service. The crew was amazing. I actually kept them longer to finish up the entire house. Regardless of the length of time, this place is expensive but maybe that's the going rate because I checked around and other places were in the ballpark. To their credit, it says on the website that they charge a premium. I would love to say it's worth ever penny but that part stings. I will say if you want a spotless house where they pay close attention to everything then this is your place. read more

I hired 5280 House Cleaning in May 2021 to deep clean my house after my roommates moved out and before my new roommate moved in. They did such an amazing job I now have them come every 4 weeks. Every time they leave I love walking around my house. They clean every room from floor to ceiling. Today Sylvia, Maria, and Beatriz came and they immediately got to work. They were polite, kind, professional, and efficient. It amazes me how every square inch is cleaned and everything is put back in exactly the same place. I love that they are a green service and have no waste or toxic chemicals. If you are looking for someone you can trust to clean your home, I would give 5280 House Cleaning ten stars! read more

When I first called 5280, I received a quote of $252. I have a four bedroom 2 1/2 bath house. Three of the bedrooms are totally empty. It's just me and my husband. The ladies were here and in two hours only cleaned the master bath and the kitchen. I got a call telling me my price was going up to $420 in order to clean the entire house. My dining room is empty. No-one goes in the living room and my basement is unfinished (they didn't even go downstairs). I told them I wasn't going to pay $420 so the lady said they could only finish the down stairs, meaning my master won't be dusted/cleaned/vacuumed, nothing upstairs vacuumed and I still owe them $252. Sure, they did a nice job cleaning the downstairs. But I will not be using them again. They are super overpriced. read more

I was selling a home in Westminster, CO. The house was mostly clean but wanted to get a deep clean on the oven and the hardwood floor. At this time I had already relocated to Utah, so this company was recommended by my agent, as it was popular with many of his clients. I never actually saw the cleaning, myself but we got many great offers on the house, so I believe it was great. They got in on short notice. I did the entire process over the phone, before they charged my card, the asked if everything was satisfactory, I really like that. Would definitely use again if ever needed. read more

They just left. Shelves still dusty. Baseboards still dirty. And absolutely everything they touched was put back in the wrong spot. Never again. read more

As good as it gets! Norma and Jenny rocked their cleaning today. We have a full condo of laminate wood floors, and they're impeccable -- perfect gloss, no streaks what-so-ever! I also noticed a lot of other touches they had they other housecleaners didn't get quite right, but Norma and Jenny got my very picky things done without me asking. They're so awesome we've asked they come back! The staff at 5280 is also professional, very nice and quick to address any messages or issues. I rarely give 5-stars, but I think it was just about perfect. (And wow what product do they use to make our granite countertops so shiny?!) read more

Have used their services before and ALWAYS have a great experience! The other day Janeth and Aracely completed a move-out clean for my house and did a phenomenal job! Arrived on time and were very professional - particularly in the time of COVID. Wore masks the whole time and made my home sparkle. Reached every nook and cranny like the fan blades and tops of light fixtures. I especially appreciated that Janeth took the time to walk through the property with me to discuss which aspects of cleaning in each room were important to me. Work was top notch! I would not take my business anywhere else. read more

I realize I'm leaving this review when I'm leaving but they just don't have time to communicate with me and they have no communication between each other. They started off great the initial clean was very exceptional but when I inquired I found I could have the team who did that clean, I feel like they impress with their best and then send out the b-team. It's not just that they miss things now they have spilled makeup on my floor and not bothered to say anything. I get that accidents happen but then not to say anything. When I call they seem to always be short staffed and don't have time to discuss my concerns and once I've talked with them about something it will happen again and when I call the second time they will say "it's not in the notes". If you never need to communicate with them the service is pretty ok. Never as good as the first clean but ok. read more

Deena seems like a really nice person. She cleaned our rarely used apartment twice & our guests reported all was well. The next two times I asked her to clean, her company was a no show & didn't even bother to let me know. That's not okay. I'm looking for someone reliable. read more

I hired 5280 House Cleaning in July 2014 to clean my condo on a biweekly basis while I was at work. The initial cleaning was thorough, but the quality declined significantly thereafter. 5280 is not a cheap cleaning service, you definitely pay a premium rate. So, it was extremely disappointing to come home and find a sloppy cleaning job. One time they missed cleaning my bathroom, another time, they didn't clean my walk-in closet. Yet another time, they showed up late to start, so they were still cleaning when I got home at 5:30pm. (I'm gone everyday for 9+ hours, and their HQ is based only a few blocks from my condo. That shouldn't have happened). It all came to a head in September when I came home 4 hours after the cleaners left to find the front door to my condo AJAR. I was shocked! The cleaners had not only left my front door unlocked, but they left it a good 2 inches ajar. I was grateful to find that my cat hadn't escaped (still sleeping on the bed) and I hadn't been robbed (I live close to Colfax). Manuel from 5280 barely blinked an eye when I told him what happened. He still charged me the full amount for the cleaning, too. At that point, I canceled my service. Now, 9 months later, I check my credit card statement this morning to find a random $128.00 charge from 5280 House Cleaning. This business is a SCAM. They used my credit card information for an unauthorized charge - I'm disputing it with my bank, but I'm livid. Future customers beware! Do not use this company! read more

One of the best pieces of advice I ever received after having a baby was someone telling me to hire people to do your basic tasks around your house. For me it became very apparent about a month in to being a new mom that for me this meant I needed serious help cleaning things, specifically our kitchen and bathrooms. So, I turned to Yelp, found 5280 House Cleaning, and I couldn't be happier! A team of 2 girls come by our house every other week and spend a couple of houses doing all the cleaning tasks I can never find time for - bathrooms, kitchens, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming mostly. They bring their own equipment, even vacuum cleaners to get into every nook and cranny, with them. They leave their shoes outside and get down to business. The rate is reasonable, but they do have a minimum of paying for two girls for two hours (I believe the rate right now is $32 per hour per girl) and they give you a price based on both square footage of your home as well as how many people live there/how dirty it is and how often you have them come. If you are in need of a regular cleaning team or even just a one-time deep clean I highly recommend giving 5280 a call! read more
