DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! -10s. The cleaner arrived 2hrs late then didn't stay for the full 6 hours that I paid $315 for. The amount of cleaning that was completed was much less than 6 hours worth of cleaning and the areas that were cleaned were not completely cleaned. In a 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom home, 2 bathrooms were partially cleaned and floors on one of two levels were partially done. Kitchen wasn't touched. Nothing was completely cleaned - my teenagers can clean better and that's saying something. I honestly don't know what she did for 5.5hrs After the poor cleaning, I contacted Homeglow for a refund only to find the company leaves all refund decisions in the hands of the cleaner to accept or deny. I purchased a Groupon for what I believed was a one time cleaning service discount, and I was more than happy to tip the woman who came and cleaned my home today, but I am absolutely furious. That homeaglow does not disclose that you charge people and trap them into a six month cleaning contract... I will be reaching out to Groupon and the Better Business Bureau and everybody I can think of and I'm starting here on Yelp, because I've been on this app for years. I have never been more furious with a business than I am right now and I have been to a lot of really crappy doctors who have screwed me over really bad. But I really don't think even that amount to trying to take advantage of a disabled woman who recently had a hysterectomy and needed some help getting her home clean... Please everyone who tries this service do your homework first if you can. We had a terrible experience with our Homeaglow cleaner. First she was scheduled for 10:00 and didn't show up until 10:30. We scheduled her for 3 hours when she got there we told her the things we wanted cleaned thinking it should take 3 hours to clean it. She was done within 2 hours and complained when we told her she was scheduled for 3 hours so we wanted her to do more. She only did 10 more minutes of cleaning and packed up her car and left. We work from home so we were busy working while she was cleaning so didn't check out her work. When we did you could tell it was a total rush job. Our dresser's still had dust all over them. Our floors were still dirty. No windows were cleaned. It was worse than when our 12 year old kid cleaned the house. We called customer service and they were a joke. Told us that we had to pay the $105 dollar cancellation fee. There was no way around it even though the cleaner did a terrible job. Do yourself a favor and don't use the service. It isn't even worth the $124 that we had to pay because we ended up cleaning everything ourselves. read more

This was one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. I paid for 6 hours of cleaning to cover two full bathrooms, a half bathroom, kitchen, and living room--and barely anything was actually cleaned. The cleaner showed up 30 minutes late, took a 30-minute break during the time I was paying for, and then left 30 minutes early. That's 1.5 hours of time I paid for and didn't receive. Even with that, she only cleaned part of a half bathroom and part of the kitchen in those hours. That's completely unacceptable. On top of that, she falsely claimed that cake smeared on the wall by my 3-year-old was "poop," which is not only wrong but incredibly unprofessional. Instead of doing the job, she made excuses and misrepresented the condition of my home. I recently had back surgery, which is exactly why I hired a cleaning service in the first place. I physically cannot do this work right now, and instead of getting help, I was met with poor service and judgment. Customer service made things worse. They initially offered a 2-hour voucher, then took it back after claiming my home was "unhygienic" based solely on the cleaner's word--which is completely false. They do the $19 initial cleaning related to a deep cleaning of everything that you own. It's not a joke that parts actually real. You do have to subscribe to a subscription before you get the free $19 cleaning so just keep that in mind. It's over $100 to get out of the "service". The "vetted" cleaner ran up the bill by cleaning things I didn't want touched. Washed dishes by hand when have a dishwasher. STOP HOMEAGLOW. I just had insulation blown into my walls. Old house, leaky everything. So there's a fine coating of insulation dust on EVERYTHING. All I wanted from a home cleaner was dusting. Sadly, I fell for the $19 introductory offer on TV. From the get-go this business was a mess. 1st cleaner canceled. 2nd cleaner confirmed a time/date that I hadn't requested. I corrected him (via text). No confirmation of change, but he showed up at the right time. Didn't have his own tools, and used my vacuum. The 1st thing he touched was a Waterford crystal vase. Says He: It just fell apart when I touched it." sigh. I left him to his own devices, hoping I had hired a Professional. (cringing every time I heard something hit the floor.) The SECOND his time was up, he beat feet. Not a word. Just tail-lights in the distance. In 3 hours he had dusted 3e 5' shelves, and the top of the TV console. Checking later I found that he had only waved the vacuum nozzle at the front of things. This is what the back of things looked like. They offer a monthly fee commitment for up to 6 months ($49-$55). They claim this gives you a $23/hr rate for any cleaner which is a big fat LIE. They add an extra hour for each of these if you want your fridge, stove, baseboards, or cabinets cleaned. Which is necessary in a short-term rental. They also charge an additional 15% fee which I was told was included. It is not. If you cancel they charge you $170 to pay for the first cleaning they gave you a voucher for. A continual nightmare with just one appointment. And no way to correct the problems. I had scheduled my first appointment and rearranged my work schedule to be present. Two hours before the appointment the cleaner scheduled and unilaterally rescheduled for the next day. I am an attorney and had a trial that day. But the guy was on the phone a lot cleaning one-handed, so I chose another crew for my cleaning today. I truly believe that this company generates profit from the cancellation fees. I wanted to cancel after having a no-show twice, but I'd already paid for six months. The only cleaner who actually showed up was a guy who could not process the direction I gave him. He was so slow and stayed in my kitchen for hours. I finally told him again that I didn't need to have my kitchen cleaned. I needed a guest bathroom cleaned and he went to the main bathroom, which we never use, and sprayed something all over the shower glass and floor. When I told him that was not the right bathroom, he left the spray all over the room and moved on to the guest bath. He mopped the floors and said that he's "out of here" after three hours, but charged me for four hours. I eventually was refunded for that hour, but he texted me requesting a tip. I obliged only because I felt sorry for him. Next three cleanings were all no-shows (one on a day I was expecting guests). Today's guy texted me at 1:20 am stating that he was in the ER with a broken femur. Later text said that he's rescheduled for two days from now. They lock you into a monthly subscription without being clear about it and if you cancel early they overcharge you for services. They claim the subscription is to get reduced rates for the cleaners. They told me it would be a certain hourly charge for the cleaning, but when they charged me it was significantly higher. They also charge an additional fee each time for "providing the service" which I would think would have been part of that monthly charge. When I complained, they said they would assign me a different cleaner whose rate was lower, but when I got the charge it was not for the lower rate as promised. They have no phone number to contact them and the chat just gives a list of the cleaners and no agency person. Their website is useless. My first cleaner broke a statute and said he would replace it but never did. The agency does nothing about this, they just say talk to your cleaner. read more
