We went through another service to get permits, and unfortunately it was missing an entire page. Assaf and Ron worked directly with the engineer to get the page drafted, submitted to Burbank, and magically had it approved within 2 weeks, with no disruption at all to progressing the work. They completed the work within their estimated time. They also cleaned up every day. We were both able to continue working from home through the entire process. Pricing was very reasonable for the work that was done. We got about 8 quotes and theirs came right in the middle. They gave a detailed quote and there were no surprises with the payments later. Their greatest and most appreciated skill is communication. They always picked up the phone or texted/called you back within minutes. This was our first major construction project and they answered all our million questions and had the relationships with the vendors to modify items to what we were hoping for. He came out, measured my roof, asked for drawings, and confidently quoted me for 2,400 sq ft. Demo began. Then midway through the job, he suddenly claimed he "miscalculated" and that my roof was actually 1,100 sq ft larger -- and of course, I would need to pay more. A mistake that huge is not a simple oversight; it's careless and unprofessional. To make things worse, his crew damaged my garage door during demo, which he eventually replaced. On day one of demolition, my property was left with shingles and nails scattered everywhere -- extremely unsafe and sloppy. Gil also tried to guilt-trip me by saying he "lost money," that the solar subcontractor charged more because "he needed thicker brackets," and even told me, "per our contract we can only do 2,400 sq ft -- that's what our lawyers said," as if his errors were somehow my responsibility. I will say this: Gil is very responsive by text and does show up on-site. At the end, he was the one who cleaned and power washed the property. But responsiveness does NOT make up for dishonesty, poor planning, and avoidable chaos. Do yourself a favor -- avoid this company. I truly wish someone had warned me. This is my 2nd review. I don't know if there was glitch but my first one was taken down.

JS Vision Construction performed stucco replacement and structural repairs on the east wall of our…read more4 story condominium building, resolving an issue that caused water intrusion and wood rot. Our HOA Board used Yelp to identify general contractors to bid for the repair work. We had five contractors come out and submit proposals. Before meeting with the contractors, we sent them a rain leak report from a specialist which identified the location of the leak and the areas that needed repair. When we had our initial meeting with JS Vision, the Board was impressed with our interaction with their representative Amir. It was clear he had a real understanding of the problem before we met, and provided a clear outline of the steps and process needed to fix our issue. He also provided the quote in a timely manner, whereas some of the other contractors took weeks to provide their proposal. After review of the proposals, the HOA Board unanimously chose move forward with JS Vision. Amir and JS Vision were the most knowledgeable during our initial meeting, and their proposal was competitive. Once the construction started, JS Vision make sure we had the proper LA City permits, and the repair work was done to current city code. The workers JS Vision utilized were courteous, responsive, and always cleaned up at the end of the day which, was appreciated by all residents of the building. The repairs performed on both the exterior and interior of our condo building were high quality, and it was clear JS Vision takes pride in their work. Amir continuously checked in with us during the project to provide updates on timing, and quickly addressed and resolved any concerns we brought up during the repairs. I highly recommend JS Vision Construction. This is a contractor who delivered what they promised, and are very capable for any condominium repairs.
