We were remodeling 3 bathrooms and painting the interior of the house including painting all the doors, crown molding and base boards in our home, he also repaired a large stucco planter around the Magnolia tree and it came out perfect. We moved into our new home and were undergoing a major remodel project. We needed to have the home exterior painted and called KN Remodeling for a quote. From the beginning, Nathan was straightforward and honest in the job scope, suggestions for what we should and should not do, and gave an extremely reasonable price (thousands of $ lower than a few other quotes we received). The best part was that he squeezed us into his schedule within a week of providing a quote for us . Nathan and his crew were amazing from start to finish. They helped us identify the best color scheme to go with to get the modern look on a 1960s home. They also painted our brick retaining wall and fence to match the color scheme of the home. Nathan impressed from the time I first met him. He was far more professional than other contractors in terms of describing how his company works and what I should expect if I worked with him. He also has a nice showroom where you can look a variety of cabinets in different styles and colors as well as countertops. We ended up getting a countertop that he suggested. We would never had picked it on our own but it ended up looking amazing in our kitchen. We had him do a complete remodel of our kitchen and one of our bathrooms. The guys on his crew were always prompt and showed up as scheduled. His foreman was both a good communicator and listener. Whenever we ran into an unexpected issue, they communicated clearly what additional costs would be involved (if any) and how much additional time it might take. The cabinets he installed were custom made but did not cost more than the pre-fab ones you can buy at the large home improvement stores. They are of high quality and well constructed. I actually saw his cabinet guy using a small caliper to make sure the door distances from the cabinets were all even! We took A LOT of quotes on our kitchen refresh, and Nathan was the only one who wasn't pushy or threw out high-pressure sales pitches. He listened to our concerns and approached them realistically and offered options that were doable, and not empty promises. His work teams were very professional, worked diligently, and were never rude. They took as much care of our house as we would. Even when we pointed out certain imperfections and mistakes they were quick to fix and patch up. Our kitchen was done way sooner than we had anticipated, so that's always a plus. One of the things I really liked about Nathan was that he was always a phone call away and he was very attentive to our concerns. He never dismissed us or ignored us. He cared and he never let us down. We've had experiences with other companies that have been less than favorable, and what we disliked the most was being ignored when we noticed imperfections in their work. Even today, as the kitchen is finished and Nathan came over to do final checks, we noticed our drawer hardware was rusty (it was a refresh and not a remodel), and Nathan offered to send someone over to install new ones free of charge. We are grateful to Nathan and KN Remodeling for addressing all the issues that we had during the remodeling process. Nathan and his team had built a new bathroom, which was a master bath, and then done some other work, including but not limited to a copper re-pipe and tankless hot water installation. Initially there were problems with some of the work done, some of which was not completed, and some of which was simply not done well, but once we contacted, Nathan, and posted a very negative review, he and his company were very quick to remedy the situation. It has been a long process, however, we are satisfied with the ultimate results, which are a beautiful new bathroom, a copper re-pipe that works and doesn't shake when we turn the hot water on and off, and the subsequent repairs to the walls that needed to be opened in order to service the new plumbing. As the job went along, Nathan and his team were very generous about adding small items here and there, such as taking some cabinets that were in the kitchen and moving them to the garage over the washer-dryer. We are grateful, and we would gladly hire Nathan and his team again in the future. read more

Gal is the guy to go to. My wife and I had many contractors come by not listening to our budget and not listening to what we really wanted. (When someone quotes you $15k over budget and you're already penny pinching, I mean come on) Gal was told us what he can do with the budget that we have and we immediately signed up with him. He let us know ahead of time the cost of materials and was on point. He managed to finish renovating the kitchen, master bathroom, and basement in a month. He renovated the house as if it was his own because even the smallest details were covered. And having that OCD, I really couldn't have been more satisfied with the work that was done. OK....I can EASILY write a thesis on our experience with Nathan and KN Remodeling. Suffice to say: Started in January (i.e. WHO knew there would be a pandemic) BIG JOB!!! Total kitchen remodel (3,000 ft home but with a galley kitchen) REMOVED: Bearing walls between family room and kitchen, dining room and kitchen, service area and kitchen (moving that wall back 4 feet for a separate laundry room). Created a huge GREAT room....with a huge island in the kitchen. Pandemic and all.....we were DONE midway through May. NATHAN and his crew are amazing!!! Let me repeat: AMAZING! And when my wife says she LOVES it and was very very happy.....THAT is the ultimate stamp of approval. Even though we can easily now have a party of 30 or so (but can't because of the current pandemic), this IS more than we EVER thought we could get...OR AFFORD! But...NATHAN MADE IT HAPPEN! At the beginning of 2019 I interviewed 4-5 contractors to build a second story in my house and Nathan was not only the cheapest but the more professional. We started construction in June and finished in Dec, just as he promised despite delays from the City. From the Architect to his framers everybody was top quality. Nathan (the owner) took care of everything from consulting us on the design to getting the plans approved to finish the job on schedule.
