Everything was good. There were some veggies that we didn't really love but still good. The food took a while to come out. Will be back to try other dishes here.

Upon arriving, you can notice that the market and the restaurant are connected in case customers need some ingredients, spices, etc. We were unsure what to order since it was all of our first time trying Ethiopian food. Our server gave us some suggestions and we ended up ordering the Mogne Tibs and a Veggie combo. We didn't know how to eat the veggie combo and our server gave us tip on how to take bites of different items. The Monge Tibs had a generous spice kick. Overall, delicious gamble of food for trying the first time and service was awesome. Interior of the restaurant was decored to reflect the atmosphere of the food. We even got to speak with one of the co-owners and told us her story how the menu is not westerenized, the restaurant has been passed down from a few family members, and why they chose to come to Denver. Please support this awesome establishment if you're curious about Ethiopian food.

The ambiance was warm and welcoming, especially Rahel's cheerful genuine smile. The service was fast and the food was freshly prepared, full of flavor! The awaze tibs and shkla was incredibly rich, flavorful, well-balanced, and perfectly seasoned. Not too much salt and oil (in tigrigna we say Eid ybarik ). The portions were great, enough for all of us. Rahel made us feel like we were at home. I give this place of business 10/10! Thank you!!!!

Way too hard to eat and the veggie platter was terrible. I literally COULDN'T EAT THE FOOD. I called them and the lady on the phone said she was unaware what happened and she would speak to the manager and get back to me. She never did and stopped answering my calls. The CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. Save your money and wait until you get to an area with a significant Ethiopian community. This food was made for people that might not know what they should be tasting.

The service depends on the timing - when it's busy it may take longer because they're making a lot of the food fresh. As someone who grew up in Ethiopian culture I love the music and chill atmosphere and tvs, feels very cozy. The staff is friendly and courteous, and like in our culture they're hospitable and make sure customers have what they need and like the food. The only reason I give four stars is I don't love everything on the menu. My honest opinion is that I wouldn't get the veggie combo here (better at megenagna) just the shiro and maybe the fasolia and carrot). I haven't tried their tibs yet so maybe that'll be next, but the quanta and shifenfen is pretty good (just heavy and a bit oily so better to share and get with a veggie dish)!

Amid this COVID era, I was excited to find that Addis Ababa delivers to me. We've ordered it twice so far and have had very solid experiences. At any Ethiopian restaurant, I tend to go for the veggie and meat combos, as I really do love everything on the menu and this is a solid way to try it all. If I had to play favorites, I'd say that the kik alicha (split yellow peas), atakilt wot (cabbage, carrots, and potatoes), split red lentils, and beef tibs are the offerings you have to fight me for. One veggie plus one meat combo is enough for my husband and I to end up more than full. We usually start with vegetable sambusas as well. It all ends up around $40 which is a good deal in my book. I would definitely love to check out this restaurant IRL once the pandemic is behind us but for now, I'm thankful I can get their tasty eats delivered right to me!

I've eaten plenty of Haitian food in my life (for 30+ years, 90-95% of it in Haiti) and this was some of the best Haitian food I've had. Their Accra may be the best I've ever had actually. Their banan was perfect. Their pikliz was the best I've had in 15 years (although it could've had more pepper ;)). I also had their Lalo and their Legim and their sos pwa blan also hit the spot. Their passionfruit and lemonade juices were super great as well. Everything was fresh!! The service was very friendly and accommodating. They were busy with a catering order the day I went, but they still went above and beyond to accommodate me. 100% has given me a reason to stop in Denver if I'm ever driving by again.

I would like to say if it's your first time just know the "bread" ingera is more sour-ish and is kind of an acquired taste. I would say I have been here many many times now and have taken to go and eaten in small groups and bigger groups. I would say the area is definitely very beautiful and cultural. The take out doesn't really give you the experience so I would say eating there is better. I wouldn't say costumer service is above and beyond but they definitely are nice and have helped us taking out food to go and check on us to see how we're doing. The food is definitely more expensive than I would wish but lots of time and effort go into making the food so it is nice to splurge on this kind of food. Now since I have been here many times, every time the food is amazing and hot (not spicy hot but temp hot) waiting time isn't too long and it's usually nice and quiet enough to hear your friends not too quiet where you can hear a pen drop. FYI they are not welcome to outside food/drink in case one person wants other food.

But don't overlook Lucy near Colfax/Quebec - it's full of fresh and flavorful (and also filling) favorites served in a clean and inviting space. One of my favorite offerings there is the chicken stirfry known as Yedoro Tibs in Amharic and Nay Tibsi Derho in Tigrinya. Redolent with the spice mixture Berbere and sided with soft supple rounds of the teff-based flatbread variously called Injera or Tayta, the dish is served in plentiful portions, ensuring that prospective diners will be suitably satiated. However, I can also attest to the potato stew (Yedinich Wot / Tsebhi Dinish) I sampled on my most recent visit to Lucy. This dish is a bit more mild, utilizing seasonings such as turmeric and ginger for a mellower mouthfeel. Nevertheless, the savory sauce is still a worthy accompaniment to the sizable chunks of potato and carrot which can be found within it. I was very pleased by my meal. But honestly, anything you try at Lucy is sure to be a winner, so stop by and check out one of Colfax's less-heralded Habesha gems.
