Brought the family back for dinner two days later and was not disappointed. My starter was great, local scallops (queenies) in a cognac butter sauce. Very tasty. My main was ravioli njuda, which was a chorizo ravioli. Flavors were great, surprised how spicy it was but not a problem. Most of the other meals were very good (pizza and pasta in particular) but what really earns the five stars is the service. Incredibly friendly, really trying to please (and authentic). I love places where they care about what they are doing, are passionate and are just good people. This seems like one of those places.

It's my go to place when I'm in a hurry and generally they have a table available (or a waiting area if there's a short wait) for small groups on the go. This Saturday night we were straight in and supping a Peroni within 5 minutes, ordered and had our pizzas on the table 15 mins later. Lovely and fresh, straight from the oven - I had the Douglas pizza which was filled to burst with queenie scallops, prawns and smoked salmon (my wife actually having the same) and our friend had the meat feast. Make sure you order the chilli dip sauce - it's great on the side and with garlic butter and black pepper alongside it was the perfect dish to line our stomachs before a big night out around the North Quay pubs. It was £55 with a couple of drinks each and 2 espressos which I think is pretty good value - I'm sure we'll be back in TT week (when it probably is advisable to book ahead).
