The shop is run just like a Dominos in that it is very fast and efficient in making your pizza. There are a wide range of toppings and good side orders, which I have found to be rare if not an impossibility for the vast majority of pizza outlets out there. There are excellent offers there like buy one get one frees on Tuesdays, two 16 inch pizzas for £19.50 ( which is a lot of eating!) and a 16 inch pizza and garlic bread pizza. They also deliver to a really large radius which is surprising, as they will deliver up too about ten miles out, although the price does rise according to distance!

The place has comfortable seating, combination of booths and chairs. It's a very noisy place so if you're going with more than 2 or 3 people it will be difficult to have good conversations. We started with the Focaccia with olive oil, Cerignola Olives, and Anchovy Toast, Stracciatella & Marinated Peppers. The starters were well received and everything was very good. We then placed our orders, too many to list here, but I had the pea and ham risotto and a companion had the gnocchi. It was requested that the gnocchi only have the tomato sauce but it arrived with the basil and cheese on top. The dish was okay but nothing spectacular. It was offered to remake it but we declined just for lack of time and holding up everyone's dinners. The pea and ham risotto had whole peas and several small slices of ham on it. This dish was like eating a plate of melted cheese with peas thrown in. It was hard to distinguish the risotto from anything else in the dish. The pistachios had a nice toasted flavor to them but the cheese just over powered everything else. Some of the other dishes ordered were the duck ragu (seemed well received), but the beef cheek dishes were not well received and had a number of comments that the quality and flavor wasn't there. From what we recall from last year not only was the restaurant renovated but so was the menu and I think we preferred the old menu. After our first…read morenight in Belfast and multiple bars we found this adorable little pizza shop across the street from our hotel (The Maldron). This is the perfect late night snack food and the prices are unbeatable. We ordered garlic cheese bread with red sauce which I thought would be like it is in the USA however it was a personal cheese pizza. The pizza itself was so hot, gooey, garlicky, and delicious. It was 4 euros which I think is a fantastic price for the size and quality. The staff was very friendly and got the huge crowd food faster than most pizza places. This is the best pizza place and late night after drinking snack to fill your belly. I recommend everybody to go here.

The Village Pizzeria more or less defies appearances and on paper is one of the sorts of places I…read morejust normally wouldn't go. Why? Because despite being under the name 'Pizzeria', it is also a generic 'chippie' and does Indian food. To me when a small place like this tries to be a Jack of all trades they really do end up a master of none. But I have to give The Village Pizzeria its dues, it does a pretty decent job. The pizzas (while by no means the best you can get) are pretty good and well prepared, the chips and other standard chippie output it also good. The chips seem double cooked, they at first glance look a little darker than you'd expect from a chip shop but they are really tasty, so they clearly have their own way of doing things and it works. The only weak link would be the Indian dishes. They are not at all bad by any means, it's just that they don't usually look or taste fully like the specific dish you order, by which I mean it's like underneath all the dishes start out as a generic 'curry' and then have specific spices added to them once ordered to differentiate them. So while you end up with a perfectly decent 'curry' one dish looks much like another and there seems to be a bit of overlap in flavour and texture.

So with few alternatives in the area I'm glad Pizza Bella Napoli ticks the right boxes. The service was reasonably quick and the food piping hot and nicely labelled. The pizzas themselves although to be honest not amazing certainly did do the job and are definitely good enough that we would use them again. A little more attention paid to the dough and cooling the base and just a little richer in the sauce and they could get an extra star from me. It sounds patronising a bit but for a pizza place outside of a larger town of city in N.Ireland to do a pizza that is so close to a 4 star review is impressive, smaller pizza businesses like this usually make pizzas you'd be hard pressed to enjoy!
