I used to work for a remediation company so I'm highly knowledgeable in this line of work. AdvantaClean is the most communicative, honest, and capable company I have ever seen in the industry. My first dealing with AdvantaClean was in December 2020 when we purchased our home. It was a seller's market at the time so we purchased the home quickly with very little disclosures. Jomart was referred to us by our family and I gave him a call to inspect the house after the home inspector stated there was a current leak. Jomart and his team came out that week and inspected the home for possible water intrusion. He sent a report on the same day, this came with the exact urgency we needed while closing on our home. The second time we had AdvantaClean come, we semi- flooded our master bathroom floors. Jomart came out, evaluated the damage, and had his team dry out the area within 24 hours. We found further damage that had taken place long before we got there. He was thorough and transparent. He gave us professional advice on how to better waterproof our bathroom and recommendations. Although this project was extremely quick, Jomart's team was extremely effective. The third and current time is when the recent storm caused a roof leak which affected our master bedroom closet, all the way down to our downstairs fireplace located in the family room. It's been hectic and stressful. His team has not been shielded from the chaos that's been coming from my home and they still treat me with absolute respect. The moment we realized we were affected by the storm, I contacted Jomart to have his team come out and assess the damage. We've been dealing with this since the beginning of January and AdvantaClean is still working seamlessly to get our house back to normal. Because of many working pieces, they couldn't demo and patch up the damage all at the same time. With all the moving parts that dragged out the process, Jomart continued to check in and prioritize our project. Jomart has been accommodating, professional, and helpful throughout this entire ordeal. AdvantaClean's team has been pleasure to have around, they're professional and skilled in their craft. I also appreciated that they did attempt to limit the extent of the remediation as much as possible, working to preserve as much of the cabinets and structure. So recommend you definitely get multiple estimates including onsite to verify the extent of the work required.

The explanation I eventually received felt rushed and incomplete, leaving me confused about who was responsible for fixing the plumbing leak versus the water damage restoration. And this was the same with every single question I asked. I understand now that restoration companies typically handle mitigation while a plumber and contractor handle the plumbing repair and reconstruction. However, that should have been clearly explained from the beginning. During a stressful situation, clear communication and professionalism are just as important as the restoration work itself.
