This is exactly what you would expect for a hometown diner. The food is solid with a Mexican twist. I can't say enough good things about the staff. The service is always on point and they're always super accommodating. It's a place where there are always tons of locals who order the bacon extra crispy and know that an order of French toast will feed a family of four. they are known for their homemade desserts, including cinnamon rolls, which are about the size of your head. Wheelchair accessibility: there are two accessible parking spaces outside of the restaurant, although neither of them has an access lane. And you're gonna need two extra humans to get a wheelchair through the doors. Both entrances are double door with a right turn and they are difficult to navigate. The aisles are really narrow between tables, but like I said the staff will help make it work. The bathroom is wheelchair accessible however it's really hard to get into because there's a swinging set of saloon doors that actually make it impossible to open the other doors. I love eating here, especially with family or friends breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The staff is always friendly and the food is always delicious. Prime rib sandwiches are nice after they've had prime rib as a special. A breakfast burrito is excellent. Stuffed sopaipilla is my go to. One downside is when my mom orders a beef and cheese sopaipilla she has often had them put beans in it. Not sure who makes this mistake, but it's apparent paying attention to details occurs from time to time. read more

We were there for about 40 minutes and we only seen the waitress one time and that was to take our order. I never leave reviews; but I have to warn people about this place.. I really feel bad for the owners of this restaurant; because if they're not there, you've got nothing but a bunch of kids that don't care if you come back or not. Its a busy place at lunchtime but we were greeted, given time to decide what we wanted and then order taken. It has probably been about 13 years since I had the food here at Home Plate in Brush. I used to come in with my parents every weekend and devour their stuffed sopapillas and dessert sopapillas. So when I came back to visit today I was eager to experience the nostalgia. I wasn't disappointed in that they were just as good back then as they are now however they seemed like they were HUGE back then. I was bummed out with the fact that our server never gave us any complimentary chips and salsa because he was forgetful and overwhelmed with tables. I went to have an early dinner aroma 4 pm the atmosphere was friendly and the staff extremely attentive to our needs. The fried chicken was nice and crispy on the outside and meat was tender on the inside. We tried the daily soup which was ham and potato soup which was delivered hot hearty and delicious. It was nice to eat in family friendly environment where the servers paid attention to the children and did not exclude them. It was Saturday and we seem to have hit the perfect time to eat. This place was suggested by the hotel staff and we are so glad they mentioned it! The service was quick and incredibly friendly, the server was attentive and answered all of our questions. We each had a beer and my mom had asada tacos and I had a taco salad. The tacos were super yummy and flavorful and came with a bunch of toppings! Some really great food for an out-of-the-way place (Off I76 in Brush). My Wife went there years ago and wanted to go again so we were in the area. It is more of a Mexican oriented cuisine but they have a solid breakfast menu and the waitress was awesome despite having a ton of table to attend to. Since living in Denver, I Can't Find GOOD Mexican food. Came home to see my Grandma, and decided to stop here. Wow, 5 stars. I had the chilli rellenos, they were amazing. The green chilli was spicy, smoky flavored, complementing the creamy beans perfectly. The no fuss waitress could have uped her game some and been a little more friendly and outgoing.
