This place is very impressive when you first walk in! Beautifully decorated and furnished with large, green curved booths. It was a very pleasant surprise. The server was friendly and attentive. It took us a few minutes to decide what we wanted because the menu is extensive. I only took one pic because of glare, but it has an array of Mexican and American dishes, including breakfast all day and many seafood options. Bookguy selected a French dip sandwich on focaccia bread. It came with the typical au jus and not so typical garlic-oregano fries. The fries were excellent, but the sandwich did not have as much flavor as he expected. I ordered a breakfast burrito that was stuffed with hash browns, sausage, and eggs. It was covered with melted cheese and salsa. It was so huge I made three meals out of it. I thought it was tasty. The chances of us coming here again are pretty small since it's in Fort Morgan, Colorado, but I recommend stopping in if you're ever passing through. read more

alright, I've eaten here twice. the first time was around 7 years ago, when I moved into the area. it was actually pretty good. then, about four years later, I tried the food again. Can't speak on it the food the only thing I tried was the wings and fries the fries were still cold and unsalted and the wings were presented on shredded lettuce as this was Togo I wouldn't have did a plate presentation with shredded lettuce as it was attached to the wing which made it seem like we went for a sandwich without bread. We went in on a Saturday morning, 8 ladies for a pre-wedding brunch.we all ordered breakfast, and I don't think there were any complaints about the food. when we got there, they were pretty slow, so was the service, then a couple of large graduation parties came in. I was glad we were in front of them. I ordered the chicken fried steak skillet, with a side of pancakes. it was very good, they even cut the chicken up for you, it could have used more chicken steak in it. maybe that's why they cut it, so they can use less, but it was good. Great little place. We come to Ft Morgan for work about once a month and like to try different restaurants and enjoy Cables and The Mav. We had heard mixed reviews about Acapulco Bay but decided to give it a try. We were impressed with the unique atmosphere. The menu was extensive as we had been told, but it has Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner options. We both enjoyed our dishes and liked that they were not afraid to add some spice to our selections. We came in early and there was nobody there, so I can't speak of the service other than Brenda was great. I can see that if they were loaded with 50 people, the staff could easily have been overwhelmed. Not sure how you could prepare for that. We will definitely come back. read more

Wow what a great place to drop in for lunch! We had the Mexican Molcajete Bowl, which is basically fajitas in a yummy sauce served in this lava bowl that is steaming Hot! It was beautiful, dressed W cilantro and avocado, shrimp on top cooked perfectly. Fantastic presentation and delicious! Also came w Beams and Rice side plate w pico fresh out of the garden! Dry and bland food. Second time trying this place within 4 years, it's still bad service.

The theming in here is really cool. This place is great for groups and families. The service can be slow as with most family restaurants there making you food with love. All the food I have ordered hasn't disappointed. I recommend the Florentine Benedict for brunch or the fried chicken at dinner. Be careful if u came for a buzz though the alcohol drinks can ring the bill up really fast. read more

I have eaten here many times I. The past. With great food and service. This was honestly the worst experience I have ever had here. The gal sat us. We were not ready. It we ordered our drinks. When she cam back, with them, we ordered a French dip and a BLT with their garlic oregano fries as I have had them in the past and they were amazing. We waited an HOUR for our meal, with no complaining because we know it was during lunch. My BLT was small to say the least, but the garlic oregano fries were pathetic! They were skinnier and more dried out than even McDonald's fries, not even warm, and literally has dried herbs thrown on them while they were not even fresh from the fryer because there was not even remotely any of the herbs stuck to the fries, it was all dry and laying mainly on the plate. I told the gal who brought the food that this was not the way the fries had been in the past as they were always good sized and seasoning actually tossed in with them so they were well coated. She argued that they are always like what I got. We got no silverware, which would have been fine, because we had sandwiches, but tue ketchup would not come out of the bottle so I wanted a knife to get some out. We called the same gal back, and we asked for a knife to get the ketchup out and she literally took the ketchup bottle and held it over my plate to smack the bottom to get the ketchup out saying where do you want it? I said Ummm, no I would prefer a knife thank you. She went and got one but geez. No one else came back after that at all to check on us except the poor gal who originally took our order to give us a ticket after we said we were ready to go. The waitress who took our order might have been great, but we never had a chance to know, as the hateful lady with the bad attitude ruined her chances of getting a tip at all. Their fresh squeezed orange juice is possibly the best OJ I've tried. It is served in goblets so you get to see all of the fresh pulp. Their breakfast burritos were generous and delicious. I went for half mild and half hot on the chile. The hot has a bite, but not the kind that causes lingering indigestion. The Piggy Pancake was too cute not to order - their pancakes are quite good. The other favorite at the table were the Special Potatoes - roasted spuds with onions, green and red bell peppers. Kind of like potato fajitas. If you're driving through on your way to Nebraska like we were, it's a great place to stop. They had a lot of other offerings, mostly Mexican and standard American fare. We moved to Fort Morgan 3 years ago after just a month some friends went for breakfast and they had nothing good to say about the breakfast or the service, today my wife and I wanted a late breakfast and the other breakfast restaurant in town was closed which we frequently went to our breakfast. Im giving 2 stars because the food is actually very good. Unfortunately, we will never come back to eat it again! This place is straight out of a Gordon Ramsay Restaurant-Rescue. We are praying that we're not sick tomorrow. There were 2 other tables of people when we got there at about 7 pm on a Monday night, and another 2 people seated at the bar. The oversized, 70's-lounge booths overpowered the space, especially since there were no people in them. I checked the restroom, which was nice and very clean, before ordering. If it had not been spotless, we wouldn't have stayed. This was out first time to this restaurant. Our new town is very small, and most restaurants are closed on Mondays. Acapulco Bay was open, so we decided to give it a try. Out server took our drink orders, brought our drinks (in very small mason jars, not 'huge' like another review suggests). Then she disappeared for approximately 25 minutes. Another server finally came to get pur order after about 25 minutes. Then, our original server appeared, and apologized for the long delay. She said that she had been asked to do a delivery (!!!) in the middle of our service. I guess that shows how important the restaurant clientele is. The food was very good, including fresh, made-to-order guacamole-- which is a TREASURE! But I cannot come and spend my time with my husband at a restaurant that would ignore me for a delivery order. Also, we heard our server tell the bar patrons that they were currently out of Coors Light and Fat Tire- both local Colorado Beers. Another sign of a desperate restaurant on its' way out. We stopped in for breakfast and there was tacky perfume and purse shop at the front desk. That was not the issue....The issue was while we waited for our food we had 7/8 flys swarming us and landing all over. After we got our food, my mother took one bite of the eggs Benedict and did not eat one more bite. My pancakes and eggs were below average and on my last bite of bacon there was lint all over it. My husband and I love rustic little hole in the wall taco places, but couldn't find the two in this town listed on Yelp, so we stopped at Acapulco Bay instead. He ordered a build-your-own plate with a chile relleno, a cheese and spinach enchilada, and a beef taco. It came with refried beans and rice. I ordered two tacos a la carte, one beef and one chicken. The chile relleno, enchilada, and beef tacos were excellent, but the chicken was forgettable. Pleasant surprise to the quality of the food we just enjoyed. We frequently drive to and from Colorado and Wisconsin to visit family. We will stop here again. So I read some of the reviews and thought can't be bad it has an extensive menu and you can't screw up a burger... well you can. The burger was dry, it was sad the tomato onion and tomato looked wilted and sad, the fries were soggy and they forgot the ranch and my drink. The only redeeming quality was when the delivery driver brought back the soda that was forgotten. The kids pizza was straight out of a cheap microwave box the entire meal was sad and not appealing. When I called to let them know if the mistake they hung up on me. What a waste of money I could have and should have gone to the sonic down the street and had a much better dining experience. I enjoy coming here, but there are some issues. First, for a family run bussiness, kindness and happiness are in short supply. Second, someone thinks that constantly changing the plates, silverware, and table accessories keeps the place fresh. It doesn't. Save your money and stick with something already! Finally it is really 50/50 if the food is going to be good. When it is it is excellent. When it isn't, their high prices feel extra intense.
