BMO saved our project!…read more We ordered doors and windows from a big box store in June 2026. When install day finally came in August, the doors were the wrong size, and the delays just kept piling up. In October, I'd had enough, fired the big box store, and called Building Material Outlet. In just 10 days, our custom doors were ordered to our exact specifications and ready for pickup. Roger and the whole BMO team were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and the timeline they gave us was spot on to the day. If you're renovating along the Emerald Coast, skip the runaround and go straight to BMO. We'll be back for our next project!

To whoever decided to make the lady named Melissa a manager or whatever she truly is there.... That…read morewas the worst decision you could possibly make. Coming from someone who is currently working in retail and owns a store myself I would have never hired someone who was that rude, took her 30 mins just to walk to the front because she decided to wobble to me, not to mention we called her name on the intercom 3 times and there was a line of 9 people behind me and they only had the one register open. What kind of management do you guys allow here??!! I will NEVER come back to the store Not because of the dirty store or the broken fridge I bought but because of the people. I've shopped here many times but the one time I needed a manager over one thing that's the lack of respect she gave me. So I feel it is only right to give her none as well.... Goodluck I hope the owners take this seriously

My experience... Walk into sales office @ 4:19 pm Friday 27…read moreMarch. The following transpires: "Captain Joe" (or CJ played by a pissy old dude with an attitude): You have 11 minutes before we close. Me (well me of course): This probably won't take that long. I'm looking for some redwood. CJ (still with a pissy attitude): Well what dimensions? Me: 2x2's, 1x3's (and as I start to say 1x2's)...and 1x2's CJ (interrupting): Nope, nope, and nope. We don't have any of that. Me: Well what do you have? CJ: 2x4's and 4x4's. Me: Can you cut it? CJ: Nope. OSHA won't let us. They don't sell lumber and we don't cut it. Maybe in California you can find that size. We're the only ones who sell redwood in this area. Me: I was told that there is a saw mill on Highway 90 just past Milton that sells it and also I was told that Meredith and Son's sell it too. I thought I'd try your place first. CJ (with an even bigger attitude) Well that saw mill... Me (cutting him off, I had had enough): Well you seem to have a real attitude about this so I will just go somewhere else. I walk out of the sales office to my car. Get in the car, start the car and notice that the "Captain" has followed me outside. As I back out of the parking space he is motioning me to roll down my window. I don't and wave him off saying that I will take my business elsewhere. It's doubtful he heard me say this, since the window was not down but I certainly heard him yell out to me "to hell with you" as I drove away. Draw your own conclusions but if my life depended on purchasing a piece of lumber and "Captain Joe" had the last piece of wood from the last tree on Earth I would just as soon die. A world without trees would suck anyway so I'd be ok with it...

No, he didn't bother to remove the empty boxes or give us any idea when they might get more. It is now May 2021 and I am still missing 1 window from the 17 windows I ordered. Why is 1 missing still? That is a great question but don't expect any answer from this company as they have no clue. They blame it on the manufacturer PGT, our poor salesman has no support to do anything. Each week I am told "it's on the truck" and ever week the truck comes and guess what... NO WINDOW!! The owner Charlie Toner refuses to call me and just has the salesmen call me to say "we are at the mercy of the manufacturer." Such crap! How can you not know where 1 window is when you shipped the other 16 windows MONTHS AGO? I know of other families who have ordered just as many windows as I have, MONTHS AFTER our order went in and they already have their entire order of windows installed. The fact that this company takes zero initiative to call me back with any real understanding as to where my window is so we can move into our house is appalling. You can claim COVID, you can claim Biden free money crap all you want, there is no excuse for other windows to be coming in every week and my window is MIA and no-one has a bloody clue where it is. Save your money and go to Window World!
