They have very good quality building materials at much better prices than the big box stores. I'm also looking for a new light fixture but I think i'm going to go with a light fixture/ceiling fan combo. Anyhoo if you are looking for a specific window, door, lighting fixture or bathroom vanity etc., they have tons of options at very good prices. Def give them a look before you pay retail. I'm looking for some redwood. CJ (still with a pissy attitude): Well what dimensions? Me: 2x2's, 1x3's (and as I start to say 1x2's)...and 1x2's CJ (interrupting): Nope, nope, and nope. We don't have any of that. Me: Well what do you have? CJ: 2x4's and 4x4's. Me: Can you cut it? CJ: Nope. OSHA won't let us. They don't sell lumber and we don't cut it. Maybe in California you can find that size. We're the only ones who sell redwood in this area. Me: I was told that there is a saw mill on Highway 90 just past Milton that sells it and also I was told that Meredith and Son's sell it too. I thought I'd try your place first. CJ (with an even bigger attitude) Well that saw mill... Me (cutting him off, I had had enough): Well you seem to have a real attitude about this so I will just go somewhere else. I walk out of the sales office to my car. Get in the car, start the car and notice that the "Captain" has followed me outside. As I back out of the parking space he is motioning me to roll down my window. I don't and wave him off saying that I will take my business elsewhere. It's doubtful he heard me say this, since the window was not down but I certainly heard him yell out to me "to hell with you" as I drove away. Draw your own conclusions but if my life depended on purchasing a piece of lumber and "Captain Joe" had the last piece of wood from the last tree on Earth I would just as soon die. A world without trees would suck anyway so I'd be ok with it...

Completely Unacceptable Customer Service -- Missing Part and Zero Accountability…read more I purchased a brand-new KitchenAid dishwasher from the Lowe's in Ensley, FL, and it arrived missing the door handle right out of the box. Instead of helping resolve a simple issue, the store has offered no support whatsoever. I've spent hours on the phone being bounced around between Lowe's and KitchenAid, and each side keeps insisting it's the other's responsibility. Meanwhile, I'm the one left without a critical part I already paid for. Lowe's sold me a new appliance that wasn't complete, and instead of owning the problem, they simply told me to call KitchenAid myself. That is absolutely unacceptable. When a customer buys a new appliance from Lowe's, it is the store's responsibility to ensure the product is complete and correct -- not to send the customer on a wild goose chase. This experience makes me seriously question whether Lowe's stands behind the products they sell. I will think twice before purchasing another major appliance from this store.
