Completely Unacceptable Customer Service -- Missing Part and Zero Accountability I purchased a brand-new KitchenAid dishwasher from the Lowe's in Ensley, FL, and it arrived missing the door handle right out of the box. Instead of helping resolve a simple issue, the store has offered no support whatsoever. I've spent hours on the phone being bounced around between Lowe's and KitchenAid, and each side keeps insisting it's the other's responsibility. Meanwhile, I'm the one left without a critical part I already paid for. Lowe's sold me a new appliance that wasn't complete, and instead of owning the problem, they simply told me to call KitchenAid myself. That is absolutely unacceptable. When a customer buys a new appliance from Lowe's, it is the store's responsibility to ensure the product is complete and correct -- not to send the customer on a wild goose chase. This experience makes me seriously question whether Lowe's stands behind the products they sell. I will think twice before purchasing another major appliance from this store. read more

I bought a Maytag washer on 10/25/25. The washer was noisy and moving. By Monday 10/28 it walked across floor to wall across room and makes grinding noise. I called Lowe's nine mile location I was hung up on 4 times by Kiara,Anthony, Cora twice. I finally spoke with Amanda she said she was the manager. I tried to get her to help us that was a big mistake. Her idea for fixing washer was for us to come in and buy a different model. I ask that same washer replaced and pick up this washer. Amanda would not do this she stated that no washer could be delivered until washer we have back in store she acted like we were trying to steal a washer. I explained that we have 4 adults with disabilities to come to store would mean at least 2 caregivers at 18 dollars an a 3 hour min. She did not care. I told her that I was worried that the guys would try to wash soiled bottoms and get hurt. She did not care. She wasn't nice and I doubt she will replace washer. This Lowe's is not the best Lowe's but it is the largest with the largest selection. Hubby & I are putting in a little side patio & garden and needed some pavers. This location didn't have very many at all even though the nursery is YUGE. No one around to help you load either. The other Lowe's on Airport drive is smaller but it's way BETTER. They had the largest selection of pavers and the best was they had someone to help load them. We will continue to shop there as they also have the most helpful employees in the nursery. read more

Don't trust Lowe's with your appliances purchases. I purchased a dishwasher and while loading the dishes the spray arms fell into the dish rack. The dishwasher was within the warranty period. I contacted Lowe's and was told to contact LG Electronics the manufacturer. I contacted LG and was asked for the model and serial I was told the numbers were on a "sticker" on the upper right side of the inside of the dishwasher . There were no numbers not even a "sticker". LG stated that without the model and serial numbers the warranty was invalid. I contacted Lowe's to find out the model and serial numbers. I was told Lowe's does not maintain the serial numbers. What a rip off.LG uses "stickers"on the wet inside of a dishwasher and Lowe's does not keep records of appliances they sale. A deceptive practice by both LG Electronics and Lowe's to avoid honoring the warranty. Don't get fooled. read more

If I could rate them 0 stars I would. The Lowes store #2788 located on Nine Mile Rd in Ensley, Fl has to be the worst managed store in the corporate chain. I purchased a washer & Dryer and when it was delivered the washer was damaged (apparently struck by a forklift loading it on the truck). They installed the dryer and picked up my old appliances and assured me a replacement washer would be sent the following day. When I didn't here from the store the next day I tried calling only to deal with the issue of nobody answering a phone at the store. After 3 attempts I finally got someone to answer the phone and I spoke to a employee in delivery and was told it could be anywhere from 3wks to 6mos to get a replacement washer. I explained to that employee that I had paid almost 2K for the appliances and that was totally unacceptable. I asked to speak with a Mgr. I was placed on continuous hold and again nobody would answer a phone. I had to drive to the store to speak with a Mgr. he assured me they could pull from another store and get me a replacement. He assured me he would call me back regarding a new delivery date/time. I never heard from him again. I did receive a call from a different employee that stated he would locate a replacement and that he would call me back that day with date/time of new delivery. Never called. I tried calling the following day to find out the status of the replacement and again nobody would answer a phone in the store. I again had to drive to the store. I spoke with the same employee and was told the replacement would hopefully be delivered on Thursday, two days from the present date. I personally told that employee that Thursday would be fine but it would need to be before 3pm due to a schedule conflict, otherwise it would need to be the next day Fri. He assured me it would be handled. On Wednesday the following day I received a recorded phone call from Lowes stating the delivery was scheduled for Thursday between 3p-7p. I called the store and surprisingly actually got a CSR employee to answer the phone. I explained the on going frustration communication lapse's with the various employees and how the delivery needed to be rescheduled for Fri. The CSR employee initially couldn't even find the order info in the computer system and said they would need to check some things and call me back. When she called me back 2hrs later she like the others assured me it had been resolved and the delivery would be sometime Fri. She could not provide a time window so I would need to set aside my entire day if I wanted this item I had already paid for. The following morning (Thur) I receive another recorded call from Lowes stating the item is on the truck and out for delivery. Obviously the CSR employee I spoke with the day before had not resolved the issue. So I again had to contact the store. I spoke with yet another different CSR employee that confirmed the item was indeed on a truck out for delivery. He to had to check on some things and call me back. After yet another phone call I was finally able to get the delivery scheduled for the next day (Fri) but the window time was 7a-7p. The incompetence, miscommunication, I had to deal with over a 5 day period, the trips back to the store in order to speak with someone because you could not get a employee to pick up a phone resulted in complete and utter frustration. read more

Long story short, bought some items, had them delivered and installed, my property was damaged (dent in the wall), and Lowes keeps giving me the run around with the coverage. Horrible customer service, no one knows anything. Purchased a patio set and was told to call for a delivery time. Couldnt get anyone on the phone so 5 days later go back and told oh we dont deliver that item. Tells me they will hold item till I can arrange a pick-up. Well I go rent a Uhaul truck, and call the store for them to tell me they dont have my purchase anymore !! They offer to get an unassembled set from the store on the other side of town (that I again could just go pick up) Its been a PATHETIC experience, and I recommend shopping else where And I wont even mention the groups of 3-5 associates seemingly ALWAYS standing around just talking. Went in today for a few things we always shop here and we've always had friendly service but something has happened today we we're treated aweful by the cashiers first cashier told us she could not help us and sent us to the cashier whose line was about 8people long so we went to the garden center to check out when we asked for our Lowe's number and the cashier was obviously put out by having to type our phone number in then we asked for our military discount and was rudely told to show id which we know to do and actually had the id out to show what ever happened to their customer service but it almost happened overnight so disappointed say hello to Home Depot read more

Replaced carpet after flood... installers arrived tore my walls up getting carpet in and said not there responsibility ! Played loud music in my home , had to ask them to turn it down several times ... no respect to home owner or customers home ! Bad attitude , now 1 yr later , carpet has rolls all threw it ! Was in Lowe's today for some nails and other odds and inns for our new house. Have to say that the service was great. Every other aisle had a employee who promptly asked if we needed any help. Knowing what I was getting and where it was I politely declined but do like the ability to get help if needed. It made me feel more secure in knowing if there was ever something I couldn't find that I could easily find it with ease with their help for an employee is never too far away. It's not my first time here but just wanted to give my review on the great service that they have here. Even when I didn't need it this time, I know I will need it in the future. So for your next project at home or at the job site and you need help with something then I'd advise to ask an Lowe's employee they will point you in the right direction. read more

On 01/02/2023 I entered the Lowes on 9 mile road to exchange a 20 volt Dewalt drill, I received it as a Christmas gift and it was opened on the Friday before Christmas to hang some wire shelves. After drilling 6 hole I went to change drill bits and found that the chick was locked up and barely got my bit out, the motor was fine. I explained this to a store employee then again to a second store employee, both said they had never seen anything like this and I agreed with I had not either. They asked what I wanted to do, I said I just need a 20 volt drill. They look and tell me they don't have that model in store. I said if you have a cheaper one that's fine and I don't expect a refund for the difference and if it's more expensive I'll gladly pay the difference. He left and came back and said I needed to take it up with dewalt directly and that's all he could do. So I stood up and handed him the drill and told him he could just keep it, and told them to take care and walked out. Since this incident I have closed my credit card with Lowes, and have decided to shop elsewhere. You know Lowes has a no touch policy regarding shoplifting, a meth head can literally walk out the door with items and never be stopped by an employee, if they do they run a chance of being terminated. So you have an honest loyal customer of over 35 years asking for help and giving them the opportunity to do the right thing and they choose to turn away and do absolutely nothing. I know me not shopping there will make no difference whatsoever, it's just my personal choice that they have decided for me. So we went to Lowe's on 9 mile rd in Pensacola Fl and bought refrigerator, dishwasher, stove and a ove rrange microwave . Once bought and delivery guys came two weeks late no microwave . Was told it was on back order . They would deliver when it came . It's now two months later still no microwave been getting the it's on next truck we have 20 coming . Nope on next truck there are 3 . Now it's another month wait talked to a manager who said come I. Pick another one I will honor price you paid . Nope drove the 25 minutes to store lady said nope no can do . I called him again he said I have to go eat I will call you after I eat and we will make this right . No call been a week now . So I go buy a different one on line . Call my closest Lowe's on mobile highway like 8 minutes away they say oh yeah we can cancel that here just bring receipt . I am disabled I got there 8 people back in the long line once up there lady says nope you need to take it to the Lowe's you bought it at !!!!!!! No on wearing masks most employees it's on there neck . People not wearing them as well even though Mayor made it mandatory yesterday for all . I am so done with Lowe's not one dime of my money will EVER go to this store and I will spread the word where I can how I have been treated . First I had to go to another big box hardware store to make some exchanges and returns. My husband headed to Lowe's on 9-mile to get 100 fence boards and 26 2X4's. Everyone I dealt with at another store was very friendly and helpful even having to get items from the stock on top of shelves for me. I met my husband at Lowe's and what a disappointment! From the people in the lumber department to the cashier and the man that "helped" load the boards. The female cashier near the lumber dept. seemed to be outdone just to wait on us. Never a smile or a friendly word. My husband was trying to load the wood so it could make a 60 mile trip..the man helping had it everywhich way and my husband had to do must of the work.. On top of that we had to unload and reload it in a orderly way when we got home. My husband is almost 69 years old and really needed the help loading the truck correctly. Shopped at a Lowe's in Mobile a couple of days ago and again it was heavy lumber and concrete, The young men there got things loaded in a flash and didn't let my husband do any of the lifting. If you know what you need and where it is, no problem. If you need help of any kind... Forget it. Once you talk to the third person and find out they are the ones in the department you need assistance in, they end up telling you what you need is in the back (ok, no worries) and walk off. Um... Should we pay for it now? Should we drive to the exit for loading? Any directions? Nope. Finally a nice red headed young man noticed we were looking around wondering where to go and asked if he could help us (how refreshing). He called to check on our item and told us where to wait for pick up. 20 min after that, we got our item loaded. This is why I prefer to shop locally owned small business when possible. Customer service lacks greatly in chains like this. Unfortunate. Lowe's does have a great selection and had what we needed. I recommend Halls Hardware in Milton or Pensacola Hardware downtown both have much better customer service. read more
