Family and friends ~…read more Do not, I repeat DO NOT trust Wood Family Furniture in Milton @woodfamilyfurniture https://www.facebook.com/share/17zMyZaNee They promise to deliver, lag by months, do not call or communicate, lie through their TEETH, and when they actually DO deliver, it takes 5 different deliveries costing time, money and hassle which could have been avoided simply if they did their JOB. Icing on the cake is that they cut a check for "delays" and then CANCELED THE CHECK. Tried calling them and now they won't return my calls. Bed was supposed to be solid wood and is flimsy. Never again. My friends and family WILL NOT be spending money at their unprofessional "used car salesman" facility. They just made the mistake of their lives. Reported to BBB, filed complaints with them and the bank.

Came into Hanleys on 10 Sept to buy a mower, Rodney helped out with showing me a Murray push mower…read morethat was lightly used. Started right up & I was sold. Checked out by the owners wife who was a very sweet & respectful woman, did a 5% military discount on the purchase. I get home 30 mins later & begin mowing my yard when the mower completely shuts down after 10 minutes of working. I call the shop immediately & the owners wife tells me to come by with the mower tomorrow, speak with Richard, and they would make it right. I come back into the shop today (11 Sept) and speak with Richard- he immediately starts accusing me of tipping the mower because of the condition of the air filter. I explain to him multiple times that I never tipped the mower. We move on from that & he begins checking me out for an exchange up to a new mower. Up to this point, Richard was very helpful and insightful. As he rings me up I ask if he's able to do the military discount on the upcharge for the new mower and his response is, "No because I think you tipped that mower". Dumbfounded by what he had said, I pay & then after a minute of sitting in the parking lot I realize I would much rather take my business somewhere that values their customers, the products they sell, and the military. I go back in and request a refund & Richard calls the owner who tells him no to the refund. Not only did Richard overcharge me for the mower and treat me like a liar, they don't stand by their products enough to offer refunds. At the end of the day I'm not upset about being overcharged by $4 or not getting the military discount.....it's simply the principle of how poorly they treat their customers. I would beware of this business and go somewhere more reputable who also treats their customers better, even if it means spending a little more. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Employees like Richard are leaches for businesses- not good.

She and my dad own a small business and we understand the value of supporting other small businesses. She spent $1500 on a speed queen washing machine. When it was delivered, the threshold to her back door was kicked multiple times by the delivery person until it broke, also tearing up the door frame. Mom took pictures and sent them to Tops. The owner, Barry, told her they would not be fixing the threshold or any other damage. Never again will we give Tops our business. My parents run an honest business and if they mess up, they do whatever is necessary to make things right with the customer. We expected the same treatment from Tops. We were sadly mistaken.

This was one of the places I'd take my Mom and it seemed like you could always find something you…read moremay want or need. It's a pretty decent sized place to go and carry furniture as well. Lately when we stop it seems as if they are getting way out of wack with their prices. We noticed for awhile now someone is getting crazy pricing things. They seem to start off with $2.95 no matter if it even came from the dollar tree. I've seen items that were originally cheaper than their asking price. Not only are you paying more for most items they ask when you check out if you want to round up to the next 1$!! I personally would not mind if prices were cheaper. They do however have one tag they discount I think weekly. Most the time your Lucky to find one or 2 items that color. Of course we know everything is donated so why be greedy asking such high prices. I wouldn't even stop here but it's close enough to my Moms house so it's easy to stop in. Ive even been here when a few people have made the comment they were too expensive and walked out. There is plenty of parking . The donation area you pull on the side to the rear of the building. The help is usually nice to deal with. I guess we will stop coming as often and maybe someone will take over the pricing and the word will get around fast, right now best to go if your looking for something in particular you might but get lucky.
