Everything you need without having to walk 88 aisles. Neighbor-friendly customer service. My new favorite and go to hardware store.

Stuck in storm door purgatory. Four months. Still not fixed…read more In November 2025, I bought a storm door from Lowe's and paid extra for professional installation. The install was done in early December. The installer drilled the bottom-lock shock into the wrong place -- multiple times -- leaving a cluster of holes and splintered damage in my painted wood door frame. Not small screw holes. Not normal wear. Repeated mis-drilling into finished exterior trim. And guess what, it's still not right. I'll have the same cluster on the other side when they mount the shock correctly. Lowe's has agreed to replace the storm door. But when it comes to the damaged door frame? Their solution is to smear wood filler into a dozen holes and paint over it. This is finish-grade, painted trim that matches the exterior of my home. Wood filler is not a restoration. It will not match the wood grain. It will not look original. It will always show. And there is additional damage beyond just the holes. For nearly four months I've been told this issue has been "upchanneled." No real updates. No one coming back out to properly evaluate the damage. No accountability for the subcontractor who caused it. It honestly feels like they're trying to wait me out so I'll accept a cheap cosmetic patch instead of a proper repair. If you're considering paying Lowe's for installation services, understand that if something goes wrong, you may be stuck in escalation limbo while your home sits damaged. This should have been handled immediately. Instead, it's been dragged out for months

Five Stars for Customer Service in a time when folks seems hell-bent on complaining about…read moreeverything. Four stars for availability/selection of appliances; although it's improving slightly. The supply "pipeline" for all goods appears to be loosening considerably. Yes, there are still some gaps and a few holes in some shelves (figuratively speaking). But overall, you can get what you need (or something close to what you need) for essentials plus some speciality items. Lumber ...meh...still too inconsistent and lacking in uniformity and quality.) In store - check out clearance and special pricing on selected items. Online ordering has quite a few hiccups...but still is my go-to for many things. Inventory reflected on web pages is waaaay off. Corporate - get a grip! As for local, Mary Esther ... I offer my sincere thanks, kudos and, applause for assistance I've been given: deference, cheerful respect, and courtesy demonstrated - especially under the duress of (other) irate and (sometimes) ridiculously rude customers. Shout out specifically to Greg, Kat, and Gabby! You are the best.

Every individual I interacted with--from the two front-line counter employees to the assistant manager and manager--gave the impression that returning a product was an inconvenience to them rather than part of serving the customer. What I found most concerning was hearing staff openly discuss, within earshot, how inconvenient it was to assist a customer while I was standing there. That level of professionalism and customer care was disappointing and left a very poor impression.
