They were wonderful! Very professional and informative, we will definitely recommend them to our family and friends!!!! Grade A service!

Absolute Scam - Paid $500 to Have My Private Data Sold and Report Padded Beware of this company. We paid $500 to hire Marlon Page for a pre-listing inspection on our exceptionally well-maintained, pristine home. Not only did we get an incredibly poor, padded report, but he also sold our private phone numbers and email addresses to third-party home security companies. Immediately after the inspection, our phones and email inboxes were completely overwhelmed by aggressive salespeople trying to sell us alarm systems--despite the fact that we already have a professionally installed ADT system. Selling client data is an egregious violation of privacy and completely unethical. As for the actual $500 inspection, it was a joke. Instead of a meaningful assessment, Marlon focused entirely on irrelevant, nonsensical filler just to "pad" the report. For example, he flagged a dirty HVAC filter as an issue, completely ignoring the fact that we told him directly that we replace our filters regularly every 2 to 3 months. He also flagged a "missing stopper" in our kitchen, failing to recognize that we have high-quality, updated modern kitchen strainers designed to trap debris. He even cluttered the report with petty complaints like a bathroom door that didn't click perfectly shut.Between the absolute filler in the report and the violation of our data privacy, using Home Inspection Pros was an awful experience. He did a massive disservice and left us fighting off aggressive telemarketers. Avoid this company and Marlon Page at all costs. read more

This is our 3rd time using Marlon he is the best thing since sliced bread. Definitely recommend him

I cannot say enough great things about this home inspection company! From start to finish, the entire experience was professional, thorough, and incredibly reassuring. Marlin was punctual, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything in clear, easy-to-understand terms. Instead of just pointing out issues, he walked us through how the systems worked, what was urgent, and what was simply routine maintenance. He never rushed us and made sure every question--no matter how small--was answered thoughtfully. What truly stood out was the warmth and trust Marlin established throughout the process. Buying a home is a major decision, and he made us feel completely comfortable and confident in moving forward with our purchase. There was no pressure--just honest, professional guidance that gave us real peace of mind. He made GA feel like it is definitely a place we want to call home. The report was detailed, well-organized, and delivered quickly, complete with photos and practical recommendations. It gave us clarity, leverage when needed, and a roadmap for maintaining our home long-term. Because of the integrity and care shown during this process, once I become a realtor, I will absolutely be referring my future clients and friends to this company without hesitation. If you want professionalism, transparency, and someone who genuinely cares, this is the inspection company you want on your side. Highly recommended! read more

Home Inspection Pros - My inspector hard at work... - Home Inspectors Near Me

BEWARE COMPANY INSPECTIONS DO NOT ENSURE SAFETY AND CODE REQUIREMENTS: My potential home was inspected prior to purchasing. The inspector with Home Inspection Pros notated minor issues. Fast Forward 9 months, we placed the home on the market for sale, the potential buyer's inspection report revealed historical safety issues including the deck not being attached to the home and historical plumbing issues that did not occur in 9 months. The home was advised to have severe safety issues that should have been included in my inspection report. The contract was terminated due to these issues. Another offer was placed and the inspector noted similar safety issues. Marlon Page met with me considering it had been less than a year since the inspection and the major safety concerns. He acknowledge the errors and advised they would repair them. After over 3 weeks of him leading me on that they would repair with no action and fear of the 2nd contract terminating, I was left without repairs with a home with major safety issues acknowledged by 3 different inspectors including Marlon. The reviews are typically based on first-time inspections, however few have follow-up inspections to ensure the reports are accurate. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! read more

new construction inspection. we were very impressed with his knowledge. very thorough report, he took pictures. great experience.

Marlon, from Home Inspection Pros, was a true professional. We're getting close to closing on a new construction home and we wanted someone reputable and thorough. A few of our, soon to be, neighbors recommended Marlon and I'm glad they did. Marlon took his time, took a plethora of pictures, documented everything and then gave us a detailed breakdown of his findings. I am glad we chose Marlon and Inspection Pros and would choose them again. If you're looking for a quality inspector Marlon is your guy! read more

Marlon was very methodical and detailed. He is also a very good teacher in that he explains what he looks for and why he looks at certain things. I also appreciated what he had shared from prior experiences, which added context to what he was inspecting. Marlon and his company are a definite recommendation from me. read more

This company was referred to me by my realtor & I am a first time home buyer. Marlon reached out to me in less than 24 hours after receiving my contract information ( which I appreciated). The conversation went well with him giving me background information about his business. He answered all my questions and remained professional for the duration of the conversation. I informed him that I wanted to be present for my inspection and that I was not available until about 6pm the following day. He informed me that the inspection would take approximately 2.5 - 3 hrs. I asked him if the time frame would still be the same for a townhome and he assured me that it would be since I was purchasing an end unit. I asked him several times for a confirmation of an appointment time over the phone. He stated that he would need to follow up with a confirmed time but not to worry as their inspector would still be at the home finishing up by the time I arrived. Within an hour, I received my appointment confirmation email which showed a time of 2:30 pm for the following day. My initial thought was that this scheduled time is not consistent with the time frame he provided. I did try calling back but their number immediately goes to an answering service. I decide to give him the benefit of a doubt and assumed he is a businessman of his word. The next day, my realtor follows up and I address my concerns to her about the scheduled time. She agrees with the inconsistency and stated she will reach out to Marlon herself for clarification. She later informs me that she could only get through to his answering service as well and sent him a message. 2:30 rolls around and I still have not heard back from the company. Around 4:15, I send my boyfriend over to the property to get an update. Once he arrives, he tells me that the inspector (John, who was awesome!) Had just finished & was heading out to his next appointment. I immediately request to speak with John who was unaware that I was expecting someone to be at the property at 6 to discuss report. He apologized for the miscommunication & offered to meet me around 7pm at a neutral location. This was unacceptable for me b/c for someone who knows nothing about home repairs, him explaining a report would not benefit me without seeing the damage for myself. He did state he would be willing to reschedule a day to go back to the property to point out the issues that needed to be addressed. I was okay with that & we ended the conversation with him giving my bf back the phone & providing his contact# so I can follow up with him to reschedule. In his defense the home owners were at the property the entire time he was inspecting so I could understand why he was suggesting a neutral location so they didn't hear him discussing his findings. I called the company back & surprisingly a nice lady answered. I explained my issue and she got me connected with Marlon. I recapped with him and the guy basically talked over me, insinuated that I lied about his guy leaving before 6 & that he had another appointment afterwards. He proceeded to say that he was going to talk to me like I was his child. My response: "Umm, no. You're going to talk to me like an adult b/c that is what I am" . Not only am I an adult, but also a paying customer. I paid the guy the day before they showed up for the inspection (paid w/ no complaints on price). After I checked him about his comment, he tells me he was just joking. Sir, don't play with me. In summary, Marlon was rude and unprofessional after he was called out about how he scheduled the appointment. He scheduled based off what was best for his company vs giving his client what I asked for. He should have just took accountability. I'm giving 2 stars because John the inspector is the real MVP. We did meet back at the property the same night and here went through major of the issues before the owners kicked out. Apparently, they were soo tired from being home ALL day watching the inspector that they couldn't spare additional time for him to point out all the issues to me, the person under contract to purchase their home. Hmm?? Now that is a story for another day. read more

Marlon was very accommodating and helped my husband and I learn about different aspects of our home to be! I would recommend Home Inspection Providers, LLC to anyone in need of a accurate and trustworthy inspection. read more

I would not use this company. He inspected the home that we are selling and if you look at his report, you'd think that the house was falling apart. Some of his comments are absurd: 1) Missing window screens - if he checked the whole house, he would have found those screens in the basement. 2) Dirty furnace filters - really? 3) Tree limbs touching house - wow that's bad!!! Those are just a few of the many examples. But he also used scare tactics with some of his wording. 1) Furnace is inoperative at time of inspection - Did you try to run the furnace, Marlon? I doubt it because it was just serviced 2 weeks ago and given a clean bill of health. 2) Inoperative light fixture - did you replace the bulb and try it? Basically, his report was so horrific that we felt compelled to make concessions. I don't believe this guy is fair or ethical. read more

5/22 update: As you can see, it's been roughly a month since my initial review. That's an entire month I gave Marlon to schedule time to come by my home - his idea, by the way. I was more than willing to send him photos and video showing that the gas pipe he claimed (read: lied) had been repaired was actually still in the crawlspace wreaking havoc. After repeated attempts, I finally gave up once it became clear he's been yanking me around, wasting my time. He already has my hard-earned money - what good does it do him to care? He'll find another sucker, or he'll have one referred to him by my former agent. Any business owner with even a shred of integrity would put forth some actual effort at following up and following through on their own work, ESPECIALLY if there's a chance they themselves screwed up. At $450+ a pop you'd think there'd be some kind of guarantee on his work. I suppose a guarantee would only come from an honest, reliable business owner who stands by their work rather than one who avoids customer complaints like some shrinking coward. read more

NIGHTMARE experience. Within 24-48 hours of moving into our new home, we began experiencing problems that we believe should have been caught with the inspection. We ended up paying thousands of dollars to remedy rodent activity in the attic, plumbing issues, leak in main gas line, uncapped gas, broken furnace fan (that caused the air conditioner to fail), and several other items. I contacted Home Inspection Pro's. and was informed that the owner would need to visit the property to verify a deficient inspection. While visiting our home, the owner was shown evidence of the rodent activity but he declined to review or discuss any other items. My impression of the experience was that he was hostile and defensive, spent significant time talking about his company but did not appear interested or empathetic in hearing about the items missed, and emotionally elevated the conversation to an unprofessional level. I was offered a $500 partial refund of just the inspection fees (wouldn't refund fees for radon test) with the stipulation that we sign an agreement releasing them from liability and agreeing not to issue negative information to any party via phone email or any media. I have never been told that in order to receive a refund that I would have to sign something like this. I wonder how many people haven't reported their bad experience because they accepted that offer? A company shouldn't have to make clients agree not to post a bad review in order to get a refund. read more

Marlon was very professional and detailed in not only his report but his over all inspection. Being new home buyers, this inspection was the first time we actually got to walk through our new home and look into things we wouldn't have looked into. When I asked Marlon to inspect the attic he assisted me on the ladder and I used his flashlight to take a detailed look around. Despite us having an owners orientation planned in a few week Marlon taught us things about our home that were important, like where we could find our air filter on the HVAC unit, where to find the main water shut off valve, what the pressure regulator does, and even explained why certain gas lines are not safe to use. Being a Nurse and an Accountant we are trained to pay attention to detail and Marlon went the extra mile to ensure all questions were answered and we were satisfied. I will be recommending him to friends and family soon! read more
