What kept me loyal to that store wasnt their prices . It was the friendliness and helpfulness which should be a standard work ethic for customer service people. As soon as a floor person saw you there they asked if they could be of help after they said Hi... I guess you know where I'm going with this .. A younger man was helping someone by the paints and he was friendly with the customer. I got the older man ringing me out . He didn't say hello or ask to help me find anything when I saw him earlier in the aisles wandering right next to him. He was just as stone faced at the register . Why would I want to go back there and become a loyal customer ?? I'm writing this because I think it's a shame when a small business is being hurt unnecessarily .

I'm constantly amazed how many times I've gone in doubting they have what I'm looking for and walk out with something that if not exact good enough. We purchased rather high end bathroom faucets from Henry's when we built our home almost twenty…read moreyears ago. In recent months the hot water valves began to leak a bit around their bases. Our plumber felt that the best course of action was to replace all four of our faucets with new ones. His feeling was that the high mineral count in our local water would just make the matter worse. We went to Henry's with the intent to purchase all four faucet units. The price approached $3000 for quality faucets. When one of their plumbing sales people heard our story, he suggested just replacing the hot water cartridge and demonstrated the ease of doing so. He suggested we call the plumber back or get a new plumber who should simply replace the hot water cartridges. We contacted our plumber and asked that he try the replacement cartridges first in hopes that it will do the trick. He agreed to do so but felt that the heavy mineral content me have caused the connecting surfaces to become rough and compromise the new cartridges. We decided to take the chance in light of the cost of all new faucets. If it doesn't work out, we will certainly return to Henry's for the four faucet units. I appreciate their honesty.

Once we had the plumbing and electric done and the cabinets were installed, it was time to order appliances. We worked with Rob Ronda and picked out a new electric stove, a microwave and a refrigerator. Reno's beat the other two quotes I received, and the appliances were delivered a week later. We've heard so many stories about delays but everything arrived right away. One team delivered the appliances. The refrigerator didn't fit in the elevator so they had to bring it up two flights of stairs. They did so without complaint. Another team arrived in the afternoon to install everything and make sure that the appliances were all working. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant and helpful. I would definitely order again.

We had a problem with a kitchenaid freezer that turns out to have been a known issue. Fine. Now we've been through 3 ovens. The first was run by the installers for an hour and looked like someone had cooked a pizza inside. It has stains all over it. Second one came completely dented on both sides. Third one was accepted and seemingly ok until a few days later we realized the bottom drawer has a huge dent in it. I've attached a photo. At this point I can't imagine Reno wants to engage any further with us as they've replaced it twice. This just marks a decline in expected quality. We go to Reno for the great service and products, but if we can no longer receive that, we'll go to the big box retailers. Update 9-10-21 Reno contacted me and made it right. Rather than replacing the entire unit again, the dented drawer was removed and replaced. We love Reno's and I want to make it 5 stars but the communication is still lacking. We were supposed to receive a call confirming when the delivery would occur; we were not home but fortunately the babysitter was there to receive the delivery. We will probably still continue to shop there for our future appliance needs. Update 03.02.2026 Unfortunately, past experiences were not one-offs, but rather early signs of decline. As I've stated, I renovated 2 kitchens with Reno plus 2 washer dryers. The microwave I bought there just a few years ago died. I called up and said give me a replacement, here is my credit card. This was in August. Easiest sale in history. Well, Reno proceeded to drag this out into December until they finally just ignored me. The first microwave had a broken fan. The installer said something wasn't right. I called, got another. Same problem. A third didn't even make it into the wall - a floor test revealed it was a manufacturer's issue. Weeks go by and I have to constantly email or call. The next solution was to give me a smaller microwave from another brand. The owner of the company sent one of those cards in the mail "welcoming" me to the Reno family. I emailed him as well - no response. My final note to them was congratulations, you got my money. You will never get another dime. Frankly, go to Lowe's or Home Depot if you want this level of service. There are other boutique appliance shops out there that would be glad to have my money.
