As a first time mom I was concerned with vaccines and Kiera went over every single vaccine and helped me decide if I wanted to delay or skip any. She was also a great support both when I was breastfeeding and when I switched to formula later on. I also love that she takes a more natural approach to medicine. Our daughter has only been sick twice but both times she helped us choose vitamins and probiotics that helped strengthen her versus resorting to the typical store medicines. We love that! We also love that she is so accesible. She has always been able to schedule us same day when we have an abrupt concern and is also great at responding to emails right away. My…read moreDaughter was suffering from excessive spit, frustrating nursing sessions, difficulty with bottles, difficulty with pacifiers, in the 20th percentile for weight, throwing up at every meal, on medication for acid reflux since she was 2 months old and many many other issues. I had mastitis unfortunately and did not know all of this was related to tongue tie. With the help from a slew of professionals (Jacquline Kincer at Holistic Lactation) & ( Dr. Trobetta at Gentle Touch Chiropractic) we set up an amazing team for my daughter to have on her side. My daughter is 5 months old and was not rolling over due to her stiffness stemming from her mouth. She was on medication for "acid reflux" as prescribed by her pediatric doctor. After having body work at Gentle Touch Chiropractic and then having Dr. Bower Release my daughters ties she began to roll over and her "Acid Reflux" disappeared. We have no spit up, no throwing up of meals, no more medication and a happy baby. She is able to stick her tongue out of her mouth. I believed something was not right with my daughter and her pediatric Dr. told me any ties released would "naturally" release when she hits her face as a toddler. This outdated and terrible response to a concerned mother bothered me and Dr. Bower assured me that to prevent further issues releasing her ties would help her developmentally and wow was she right. My daughter finally fits into her clothes in her age group she isnt months behind anymore. Dr. Bower was professional and very calm when she took my daughter. She was swaddled and had homeopathic remedies that helped before and after the tie. She also showed me the stretches before the tie release and let me record her doing it so I would not forget. Everything about her was calming and inviting. She reached out to me numerous times after the procedure to make sure my daughter was progressing properly and asked for updates. I never felt alone or as if it was done and I would never see the Dr. again or have any random questions answered. I was always listened to and felt complete trust in her practice. I would recommend her over and over again to any mother struggling with their child. Even if your child is older its not too late to help them. I am so thankful she is apart of my daughters army! A decision I will never regret making.

My baby would scream for 5-7 hrs per day, arch…read moreher back, make a sour face, couldn't sleep flat, etc all the classic signs of GERD in infants I now know. They kept saying "it's just colic". I changed providers and that one suggesting trying different formulas and wasn't making sense or listening to me when I said we had already tried cutting out allergens. I was also concerned because my baby was bruising easily and quite pale, and I was severely anemic at the time of delivery, I thought maybe she was too. They kept refusing to draw blood and then they finally did and told me "hemoglobin is within normal range". I didn't believe them and asked for the number. 9.0. I ended up utilizing some online resources that suggested my baby 1- had silent reflux or GERD, and 2- was definitely anemic as hemoglobin of 9.0 is not normal. We ended up changing to the Park West location and I really had to twist the doctor's arm to prescribe my baby famotidine or omeprazole as a trial. That doctor became nasty with me and said "if you're willing to chance the side effects then fine". My baby was in severe pain, not sleeping and losing her voice. The famotidine prescription changed her life. She was no longer in pain and turned into a happy baby. Additionally WIC suggested enfamil AR - pleasant peds never mentioned this - and that helped immensely as well, plus the anemia subsided. At our final visit the doctor suggested we allow our baby to scream and cry inconsolably for a night or two to make her sleep thru the night and told us not to feed her until morning even if she wakes to eat. She was an infant at the time. We walked away and never looked back.

As always, Araceli greeted us warmly and asked how we were doing. Mysty always has a huge smile and warm greeting, and today - she had some hair tricks (Thanks, Mysty!). We were told that the usual provider was not in today - what we were not told was that the ABSOLUTE best provider ever was about to walk into the exam room. Kristen Buchanan was like a breath of fresh air. For the first time when meeting with the provider, my granddaughter did not cry at all. She had a few tears later in the visit when she was given her shots. Even then, she only cried for a few minutes then calmed down. Kristen was so very kind and knowledgeable. She provided much needed information to my daughter for the next stages in eating, language and physical development. Safe to say, my daughter and granddaughter were completely at ease and had the best visit ever! Thank you, Kristen, Mysty and Araceli for making today so wonderful. 1 year check-up and shots are no joke! We so appreciate the kindness and great care that you all provide.
