I could not be more grateful to her for taking on my dress with such little time. The day I went to her she began to stitch the dress while I was wearing it and began trimming tulle. She finished my dress in a week. I came in for a fitting and it fit perfectly. She's an incredible tailor but more than that she's an incredible person. It was amazing to see her clients coming in to just say hello because they have so much love for her. So if you're reading this and you're free, she's moving her store down the street from its present location on July 7th and her clients are throwing her a grand opening at 10am, please attend and support her. Lisa is truly a special person and very talented at what she does.

I went in here on a whim last week to see what kind of bridal lingerie I could find. I was…read morepleasantly surprised by their selection, as I have not seen that selection of lingerie in any other bridal store. I already have my dress from another store & Lisa didn't say one negative thing about it. In fact, she just made suggestions that I hadn't thought of - such as to be careful of buying shoes with any decorations that might catch on the chiffon dress. She fitted me for a bustier in a matter of minutes. I browsed her shoe selection, which I have to say was pretty extensive. She was never pushy. She also have a few nice headpieces and I may go back and purchase one of them for my wedding. If you are in need of lingerie, I would highly recommend Lisa. I thought she was completely professional and pleasant.

After all the pins were attached for the alternations we were told that it will be almost another $1000 for alternations and btw payment should be in cash.... They are not forthcoming and having to pay cash sounded slightly weird. We decided to just take the dress and find a reasonable seamstress elsewhere. When picking up the dress it was handed to us with a bad attitude, letting us know all the pins were removed. Uncalled for after spending thousands of dollars on a dress at this store. Wedding dress shopping should be an all around good, fun experience, this was not!

Next thing I knew I was scheduling a second appointment to come back with my bridesmaids and father to get their opinion on the 2 dresses I had fallen in love with. (After going to so many shops, friends and family stopped wanting to hit the road with me, so the first time I put on my dress it was just me, my mom, and a couple sales associates). The boutique itself is small, but don't let that fool you they have the best selection. A variety of dress fits, colors, and styles - a little something for everyone. Since it is on the smaller side, you essentially have the place to yourself which was a huge win! During the wedding and for years after I've gotten compliments and questions about where I purchased my dress. I cannot recommend this place enough, it was truly a great experience during such a crazy time. (I unfortunately, was a bride during COVID-19 - however, I have to say Bridal Atelier Montclair such a great partner during this trying time).
