They had a big selection of dresses to choose from. The associate helped show us a few based off what the godmother and me liked. Eventually she found something we both liked. The dress was perfect and they sold the matching shoes to go with the dress. The only thing is that they do not allow babies to try on the dresses as a hygiene thing which we totally understand. They do allow for the communion dresses which we will definitely return when that time comes. The prices of the dresses were very reasonable. Of course the more decorative detailing dresses were more expensive, but there were several we were shown in the $80s to $125 range. The associate package the dress for us to take home. If you pay using cash they do not charge tax. We had a pleasant experience and would highly recommend them.

Renate's not only refused to return the deposit, or try and help us in any way, the owner never even bothered to return our call. This is not about the money, it's about common decency and compassion. Long Island is full of wonderfully staffed bridal boutiques, Renate's is not one of them. For a company that "specializes" in creating wonderful memories, Renate's only caused a grieving family more pain.

They took into consideration my body type, complexion (I'm fair so I went with Ivory) and the time of year so the dress wouldn't be too heavy or light. I fell in love with a dress that needed something extra because it was a bit too plain. Their expertise showed when they came up with the perfect belt, veil and shoes to spruce up my perfect dress. The alterations dept offered suggestions and I walked out a very happy bride. Their product knowledge, genuine, willingness to help and great customer service at the Massapequa store truly gave me a positive experience that I needed because wedding planning can be very stressful.

Weird if they're made to order but whatever. I cancel the order. They refund me for each tie separately, and then only issue refunds for 5 ties, not 6. I contact them, am told the refund is coming. I contact them again, am told they see that the refund for 1 tie is missing and will be refunded within 48 hours. Still no refund and it's been 5 days. I'm furious that I have to waste my time chasing down $19.83. PS- the ties are still available as made to order on their website. So be warned, they're probably not in stock And then you too could be planning a wedding and dealing with added stress from David's, every bride's dream.

Sabrina was the one to originally help me, she didn't restrict me time wise, she was in the fitting room with me helping me put the dresses on and taking them off. I am a plus size bride so it was difficult to find places with dresses i could fit into and they made me feel so comfortable. I had a few appointments at other stores after i visited Village bridal and i couldn't help but compare the experiences i had at those store to the experience i had at village. At other stores i felt like if you didn't find your dress right away, they got impatient but it's such a hard decision. At Village Bridal they made me and my mom feel like they were our life long friends. My mom also found her dress there. They were not pushy or uptight.
