I was in search of a bridal head piece. I was torn between a hair comb and a vine. There was a particular hair comb that I absolutely loved but wished it had a little extension to create a vine kind of look. The assistant that helped me was very informative and helpful.. she told me that I can achieve that look just by adding a little extension. She made sure with who ever creates the pieces that this could be done and additionally found out how much it would be in addition. There is no other place like this boutique that will create CUSTOM pieces. I will say though, that was my second visit. During my FIRST visit, the salesperson did not mention that I could have a custom piece made. ORIGINALLY, I was interested in two separate pieces one comb and one vine. I mentioned out loud that I could put them together, basically I would end up buying two separate pieces and somehow place them together in my hair to make it look like it is just ONE piece. This place makes custom pieces, so not too sure why this salesperson did not mention having a custom piece instead for the vision I was going for.. but THANKFULLY, during my second visit, this other salesperson was able to mention this and help create a custom piece that I was going for! I think I would have missed this gem if I didn't know about it in advance and wasn't looking for it. It's tucked away in a quiet area in Brooklyn, and you need to be buzzed in. Once you're in, you're transported to what seems like another world. I've really never seen anything like it. Complete bridal heaven. Everything in the store sparkles like you wouldn't believe. I didn't make an appointment, and luckily they were not busy at the time so I was able to play. The owner, who was so sweet, took a bunch of different items off of the shelves for me to try on. He even attempted to replicate how my hair would look on my big day and pinned each piece in place. He was so patient with me as I was very indecisive on what style I wanted and what price range I wanted to be in. He informed me that he creates every piece by hand, and usually needs a few months to get an order ready. I was expecting to take something home that day, so we was able to accommodate me and sold me a piece that he had made for another bride, whose wedding was a couple of months later than mine. There are pieces for every bride regardless of your price range. There are less than $100 hair clips for a touch of sparkle, or legit tiaras for those over the top brides (those are probably over $1000). I was somewhere in the middle and was completely satisfied with my purchase. I ended up getting a vintage style hair comb to wear on one side of my hair with finger waves. I am so excited to wear it and it definitely gives the wow factor. I have already recommended this store to a few other friends tying the knot soon, and I know they wont be disappointed. read more

I came down to New York from California in 2015 to pick out my wedding dress from Kleinfeld's...I ordered a custom dress by Pnina Tornai and I decided to get to the crown by her as well..But for some reason when I left the store, the crown really didn't do it for me..I called the next day and canceled just the crown, they informed me that the wait time for my dress was almost a year and if I cancel the crown, I wouldn't be able to get it because it takes 6months to a year to create. I took my chances, and canceled anyway.. The quest for perfect crown started, I looked everywhere.. Neimans, Zuhair Murad, Ellie Saab etc but none of them was all Swarovski crylstals..my wedding gown had huge Swarovski crystals and my crown had to match it. 11 months passed still no luck..I was getting panicky and hen I came across a picture of the most perfect bride wearing a beautiful crown but in a gold tone..a little bit of inquiry and found out the crown was created by bridal styles Boutique, I right away contacted them, I sent them my wedding dress pictures and told them how I needed that exact crown but in silver n crystals...they told me a time period it will take to create since it was custom order...While the crown was getting created, they sent me pictures emails to keep me in the loop of where in the process we were at.. I went for the sample sale and I worked with an associate named Sophie. I had an amazing experience. She greeted me right at the time of my appointment and asked how I was doing my hair and to see some pictures of my dress and then asked me what I wanted in a head piece. I showed her some pictures of what I was thinking and she immediately had recommendations based on my dress that she thought would look nice. She brought me out multiple options and showed me the many different ways I could wear them. I had always thought I would want to wear my head piece more towards the back of my head but she asked me to see how it looked wearing it higher up and it looked amazing! I am so appreciative that she showed me all the different ways I could wear it because it will compliment my dress even better than I had imagined. Everyone was attentive and there was not one person in the boutique left without help. The associates really take the time to make the brides feel comfortable and to give them options so that they leave feeling great about their purchase! The pieces are GORGEOUS. It really saddens me to write this review because I was SURE I'd get my wedding hair piece here. I love their styles but the customer service and experience was awful for a bride to be. To begin, I showed a photo of my hair from my first trial and was told my hair dresser (a good friend) wasn't good and the hair style wasn't good. The man made a point to say this a few times. It really made things uncomfortable as this is just a photo of a trial. He barely pulled out styles for me to try on. He was rude and short with me. The woman next to me was also trying on hair pieces and was having a much different experience. Her associate was pulling out many styles for her to try on. I mentioned I'd return with my mom and the energy of the man helping me completely changed from sort of interested to uninterested. Please consider going anywhere else before coming here. If you're looking for a nice experience while you shop and try on, this is absolutely not it. Check out Christie Lauren headpieces instead. Came here to look at hair pieces for my September wedding! It happened to be during a sample sale everything was so beautiful it became overwhelming on what I wanted because I didn't know how to my hair or what I wanted. I'm not a very flashy person but I knew I didn't want a crown. I was so confused but the girls here were so helpful they even did a quick hairstyle of what I would want and let me try different pieces with a veil. It's pricey but my piece was all Swarovski and it was a beautiful side comb. They asked how my wedding dress looked and what my jewelry looked like and every detail they were so good. I obviously had my mother with me to help me decide. Once I picked what I wanted they took a picture of it on me and then took to the back to shine up and put in a box. This review is solely based on customer service and in store visit. I inquired about headpieces for my wedding about two weeks ago and based on how quickly and throughly my emails were answered my fiancée and I decided to book our plane tickets and hotel to visit the boutique in person instead of purchasing online. They have a wide variety of options based on your budget and desires and honestly the designer can make really anything you want as long as you commission it. I was extremely appreciative with the designer for making time to meet us before his vacation as our time was also limited due to work commitments. The appointment ran from 11:30am as scheduled to close to 1pm. I can now confidently say, my wedding attire is completed with Bridal Styles Boutique's creations. I found this business online and then decided to visit once I saw the excellent Yelp reviews and realized it was near the bridal boutique I purchased my gown from (Lotus Bridal down the street). The owner and lady staff member were so helpful and gave honest advice each time I visited. I ended up getting a headpiece, headband and a veil. Truly can't say enough good things about Bridal Styles. I didn't care for any of the headpieces my initial bridal salon showed me, and I wasn't totally thrilled with the veil they sold me with my dress. My sister in law recommended Bridal Styles and we stopped by on a whim. Even though I didn't have an appointment, they were more than happy to help me, and we spent nearly two hours choosing a headpiece. I worked with Sophie who was absolutely amazing. She didn't pressure me at all, and let me try on many styles of my choosing so that she could gently guide me to the style that was absolutely perfect for me(a tiara instead of a clip or headband) even though I had come in saying I absolutely did not want a tiara. She respected my budget, and offered her opinion in very helpful and warm ways: If she knew a piece would not look well on me, she would tell me why, but let me try it. She was right every time. We loved the service and their designs so much that I canceled my previous veil order with my dress salon and bought custom veils here. Sophie talked me out of a few more expensive veils because they weren't right for me or my dress - we eventually landed on veils that were perfect for my dress and comfortably within my budget. They even photograph you in your veil/tiara/jewelry and then take a snapshot of just the piece, attached to your invoice, so you can be sure that what you get is exactly what you order. When I came back to pick everything up this week, we didn't call ahead or make a plan - we showed up about a week after they called to say my things were ready. Sophie greeted us enthusiastically and without needing an invoice or a name, disappeared to retrieve my tiara, bracelet and veils. Ok, so let me tell you about my experience here. I came with my mom during the sample sale, and we were extremely impressed by the selection. The service was great, the selection was fantastic, and I ended up picking out my jewelry for my wedding this upcoming summer. Everything went wonderful - five stars. I recently called them to ask if I could pick up my headpiece for my hair trial for a day or two, and I had a few questions- basically asking if I needed an appointment to come back in a few months to polish, etc. The Russian lady who answered my phone call in the morning was beyond RUDE. She basically could not handle my three questions, and literally said "Jesus Christ, what do you want?" ....WHAT?! Honestly, I was beyond surprised for anyone to be speaking to a customer this way who also made a purchase. I quickly ended the conversation without an argument, but I honestly was astounded by this lack of respect. --One star for this interaction. It honestly makes me sad to rate this place less than what Eddie (the creator of the jewelry) deserves. He is a creative genius and was wonderful to work with. I am genuinely shocked by all the glowing reviews here. Everything at this place looks tacky and cheap, and is overpriced for the quality. It's costume jewelry at best. Both times I went I had a long wait even though I made appointments and the staff were very rude. I asked for something simple (because everything I saw was covered in rhinestones and feathers) and the salesperson all but rolled her eyes. When I got my veil it was not at all what I had asked for, and after making me wait half an hour to talk to their designer, he was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. My mom and I went here to get jewelry and a headpiece for my upcoming wedding. This place has such a gorgeous selection and even customize things. It took me a bit to find what I was looking for but the sales woman was helpful and knew the products very well. When I finally found my headpiece, the staff continued to help me find jewelry to match. I met the designer months later when I had to pick up my things, everything came out so perfect. I had them add yellow crystals to my headpiece and it came out exactly how I wanted! The designer even came out to see if I wanted to change anything, add more yellow or take it away but honestly it was perfect the way he did it. The one issue we had was the prices. We found them to be a little expensive but again you get what you pay for. The owner did adjust some prices for us even after we put down the deposit because we found some of the jewelry some where else for cheaper. Overall, this place has a big selection if you are looking for dazzling headpieces and jewelry because everything in there has a lot of bling which is what I personally was looking for, then you should def stop in 5this place.The staff was helpful and nice especially the owner and the designer. I saw this company on Instagram asked for their email and they were SOOOO helpful, responsive, and patient that it was fine I didn't have the piece in front of me to look at I was confident with all the pictures it would be beautiful. I came in here without an absolute clue of what I wanted. I believe the gentlemen who helped me was the owner. He was very nice. He asked to see a photo of my dress and how I was doing my hair. He put my hair into a bun (he did a really good job with the updo too). The headpieces are customs. There is a lot to choose from.
