Went to Holybelly for a brunch around 12:30. There were already a line but it wasn't that bad because we were able to get our seats pretty quickly. I had ordered a London fog and their sweet pancakes. Overall very delicious, probably one of the best brunches I've ever had but it wasn't the french breakfast I expected. However, that didn't bother me because everything at Holybelly was amazing! I definitely recommend anyone who's looking for a good brunch in Paris. Holybelly was a phenomenal breakfast spot in Paris! When we went around lunchtime on Sunday there was a line 50 people long just to be seated. However, we came back the next morning and got seated right away. We ordered the filtered coffee which was super delicious - they really pride themselves on having great coffee which isn't common in France, but Holybelly nails it! Husband got the savory stack and I got the two eggs and two sides (plus and extra). The poached eggs were perfection, the grilled haloumi was SO good and I loved the refreshing bite of the salad! Plus I ordered the housemade sausage patty which was truly phenomenal! Also they have an English menu for those of us who speak average French, and they'll speak English too! Not a pleasant experience at all! First, after the three of waited in line for several minutes, the server (with an American accent) seated the European family of 4 behind us first, only to seat us few minutes later on a table for 4. Why do that if you aren't going to seat a party of 3 on a table for 3 (which would be understandable). Then, we specifically ordered extra hot coffee, which they declined to do, and instead served us cappuccino that was barely warm. We informed the waiter but he wasn't interested in making any amends! Finally, we ordered the chicken special, which came with literally 6 small morsels of chicken. All this for a plate that claims to be a breakfast/brunch place? We were skeptical of this American themed restaurant in Paris, but it lived up to our expectations. The coffee was one of the best we had on our trip. The English scrambled were the perfect fluffiness and the pancakes were divine. Their Artisan bread is also delicious. American tourist here: I loved this food. Flavorful, balanced, crafted with care, and fresh. I have lactose intolerance and can struggle finding places abroad. They had a coconut milk chai pudding for breakfast which I loved. I loved it so much, I almost didn't share it with my family! Best, Best, Best breakfast I had on my trip to Europe. There is a reason for the flippin long line out the door. The line moved surprisingly fast, though, because the restaurant is deceptively large. This was probably my favorite coffee, too. My friend got the granola and I got the Pick 2 with Eggs--soo difficult to choose just 2, but I enjoyed the Hash browns and Haloumi Cheese (I was a fatty here). Delicious breakfast! We had the sweet pancake stack with fruits, the savory stack with eggs and bacon, and the black rice porridge. I really enjoyed the savory stack - salty, sweet and fluffy. I ordered the 3 Pancakes with hash browns and was not disappointed one bit. The pancakes were soft and tasty, some of the best I've ever had. The hash browns were rather small and in a different form than I am used to in the US but they were still tasty. The service was great! A young man sporting a PSG Mbappe jersey greeted us excitedly. It is a requirement for all employees here to speak English so fellow Americans and Brits will be just fine. One con: There will be a line. We came at 1 on a Monday and still had a 20 min wait, so if you come be prepared to wait...it's worth it! read more

Excellent. That's really the best way to describe our experience there. Holybelly is one of those places that appears on all the must-try lists, and the queue proved it -- we were waiting in line for at least a good hour. There were also a lot of tourists in line (some still with their luggage!) so we at first thought it was just a tourist trap. But the staff completely made up for it. They kept coming out and even chatted with their waiting customers. (They gave us the password for their free wifi too, which is always a plus.) When we finally made it in, we were greeted with even more of their friendly staff. They were super chatty, in both French and English! It was really quite a spectacle to see them interacting with guests -- gave the place quite a homely feel. The food was superb. It's a bit on the pricey side (each of us spent about 23€) but it was so worth it. My suggestion is to get The Champ for your main dish, and then share one of their sweet pancakes as a dessert; that would make for a perfect meal. Just a note though: their hot chocolate is way better than their the London Fog. The latter was kind of a let down to be honest. But that was masked by everything else that was fantastic! read more

My FAVORITE restaurant in Paris! When I studied abroad there for a couple semesters, I had to go every week. The atmosphere they provided is so warm and made me feel totally at home. This place really lived up to the hype. Their menu says something to the note of "best pancakes ever" and man is that the most accurate statement I have seen on a restaurant menu. The pancakes have such a unique taste and melt in your mouth. I just cannot express how badly you all need to try them. Split them with your friend, wear the stretchy pants, do whatever you need because you cannot leave this place without trying the pancakes. On to the two egg dish (with bacon) - an American staple. If you're like me and got to a point during your visit to Paris where you cannot stomach another croissant for breakfast, this dish hits the spot.
