This past Saturday, my family and I gathered at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery for my aunt's 20-year memorial. About 25-30 of us came together to honor her life, share memories, and reflect. She is laid to rest in the St. Elizabeth section, which always makes us smile a little because her name was Lisa. It feels fitting in a quiet, personal way. Her resting place is down the hill near the edge of the property, where you can see the mountains and the valley. It's peaceful, calm, and honestly one of the most beautiful spots in the cemetery. Standing there, surrounded by family with that view in the background, I couldn't help but think she would have truly loved it. There's something comforting about how serene the area feels -- it gives you space to breathe, reflect, and remember. The ceremony itself was very special. We released doves individually and then released the rest together -- about 20 in total. Watching them rise into the sky above the hills was powerful and symbolic. It brought a sense of peace to everyone there. Another fun fact is that my Grandpa from my moms side is buried across the street from my aunt from my dads side that we had the memorial for. Holy Sepulcher Cemetery is a beautiful cemetery, well-kept and thoughtfully maintained. Located on East Santiago Canyon Road in Orange County, it offers a setting that feels both sacred and naturally stunning. Beautiful grounds overlooking adjacent hills and grassland. VERY well maintained, almost like a botanical garden! Workers were very conscientious when burying and handling casket. Neat, clean and very careful. Put sod on top of grave and tamped it down to proper level almost like it was never removed. Adequate and well marked roads throughout cemetery. read more

My parents bought a family plot at this lovely cemetery 30 years ago, the grounds are nice, quiet and overlooking the hills , Holy sepulcher is a catholic cemetery. when it came time to bury my parents, Holy Sepulcher has been so dysfunctional and unsupportive, it's been a terrible experience, I just hope no one else has to go through this It's not easy time, to bury loved ones you would think that cemeteries (and catholic cemeteries) would have more sensitivity and support First, there was very little help with the memorial, we did most ourselves, brought chairs, we were on strict time schedule, I even had to go get the ashes from the office cause they didn't bring them to the gravesite. Then, months later, we found that they buried my parents in the wrong plot, so they had be moved and grave marker had to be redesigned, this took multiple emails and my own design skills cause they outsource the grave markers and don't let you communicate to the manufacturing company directly I just contacted Annabelle to see if the marker arrived it did, months ago, they installed and never even contacted me it's just egregious for a business to be run this way, especially a cemetery read more

Ordered my mother's headstone from an on-line vendor because they charged a lot less than the cemetery and they would deliver and install it for free. However, their workers are unionized so they have to do the work and so they charge a fee of $475.00 to place a simple flat headstone as they won't allow third party vendors to place the headstone. The headstone was delivered in early June but was placed on the wrong gravesite. I called to tell them this and they said not to worry as they just have them deliver to the general area. Went there on July 29th to see if the headstone was in place and of course, it was not. My sister and I moved it to the correct gravesite and then went into the office to let them know that it was still not in place, even though I had already paid the bill. They gave us some excuse about a storm knocking over trees last month but that shouldn't matter as they should take care of paying customers first. On top of all this, they did not have an order in their system for the install even though I had called when it got delivered. They blamed it on the third party vendor not having called to arrange delivery but I don't believe this is true. We also placed orders to have my dad's and my grandmother's stones raised and although they had those orders in their system from April, that work had not been done either. Needless to say, we were not happy and let them know it although I wouldn't say that had much of an impact. Lastly, on the day of my mom's funeral, they informed us that my mom's burial was the last one of the day and if it went past 3:00, they would have to charge us an overtime fee of something like $350.00! Since when is 3:00 considered overtime? And why would you put this burden on someone who is saying goodbye to a loved one? I could see if it ran past 5:00 but even then, where is the customer service? Many of the older flat headstones are covered up and although they say they will fix this if you call and request it, you would think that this would be regular maintenance for a cemetery. If your'e looking for cemetery plots, I would suggest looking somewhere else if at all possible. read more

This is a beautiful cemetery located up in the hills in Orange. I never thought at my age would I have to lay someone I love to rest. Especially someone who was so close to me. I won't lie it completely sucks. Nobody can prepare you on how to deal with grief. My husband was very young. I am so grateful that my husband's family already had a space here that they allowed me to use. I spoke to Jack several times. He walked me thru everything. With Covid all my documents were emailed to be then scanned and sent back to them. Jack helped me pick out a beautiful wooden urn made and blessed by Monks. At the service everyone placed a flower inside his niche which will stay there until we reopen it for me. I have visited the grounds a few times to visit. I usually bring my dog and she lays down right in front. It's a beautiful location surrounded by the hills. Parking at his spot is usually easy. If you leave flowers they remove them every Thursday With loss all you can do is take one day at a time. It probably won't ever get better but you learn to just live with it and try to cope. read more

A difficult part of our lives is the realization that we will one day pass away. It is inevitable and though we may not actively think about it- it's a good idea to prepare. I'm grateful for Annabelle Mosqueda's communication and patience with all of my questions. The visit involved getting to know what you want, plot or cremation. The options that they offer and price range you would like to be within. Afterwards, you can go see the spaces available in their cart and what they are like. We laid our son down to rest here on 8/17/20. It was hot but you are allowed to bring cooler with water (please remind everyone to pick after themselves). Also provided a large canopy for guests to have shade. They have 3 clean porter potties near the office, but did let our great grandma use the ones inside. This cemetery is a catholic one, so you will see statutes of different saints and the holy mother of Jesus as well. We dealt with Narciso P, great customer service and has a sense of humor witch helps in times of sorrow. They keep the grounds clean and pick up/ throw away all flowers on Thursday. They also have several benches you can sit on or you can bring your own chairs. You are also allowed to bring music. We had an hour of mariachi for our son, and will continue to bring him music on his birthday every year. read more

I do .... with the outbreak of Covid-19 and watching the impact around the nation, we worried if the death toll here was the same as New York we would see cemetery's with lines of people needing graves for their loved ones. We decided it may be wise and cost effective to buy now. We called the cemetary and made contact with a lady named Kathy. This was like amazing because she is simply a joy to deal with. She answered every question accurately as she directed us to various grave sites by cell phone, she listened to our hearts desires and very quickly delivered! All this service OVER THE PHONE! Found bought and paid for all with zero contact! We were very surprised how painless the process was and how effective it proved to be. I took a picture of the posted sign that says that the flowers are cleared every Thursday for lawn maintenance . I arrived today Wednesday , because I put out solar lights for my parents at the graveside. When I found out my Great-Great Grandmother was buried here, I knew I must visit. What a lovely place. My husband and I were greeted warmly as we walked into the office. After attending several cemeteries looking for my Dad's final resting place. We immediately felt the difference between here and other cemeteries. Nice cemetery. Stopped my parent's will calling for scattering of their ashes. My brother paid for them to be interred in a building with other cremated remains. I lost a key my brother gave me to get in to building. Attempted a few wks ago to get replacement key. They refused. Claim only purchaser should have a key. They had 5 sons. We're not welcome? Horrible place to bury your loved ones. Very inhuman especially that rude bitter lady who would not give her name. We already had 3 plots so we had to lay my grandma to rest here. It was very sudden, and everyone was heartbroken. Well they only allowed 10 people at the burial out of like 50. They even threatened to call the police. The funny part she attended with her peasant assistant so how does that work? We where about half a mile away watching our loved one being buried and she send our parents to tells us to leave or she would not be laid to rest. We didn't even get to say goodbye. Beautiful grounds, such a peaceful resting place!

If you plan on getting your loved one put here do not invest in getting them a special and very nice headstone/memorial marker. The cemetary workers WILL NOT take good care of it. We had a very unique and special marker made for my sister. It got put in on August 22nd and already today (September 13th) is stained with tire tracks. It is right across my sister's face. I went to the office to address the situation and was calm but sure to let them know it was upsetting to see. The man assured me it was just dirt. He said it would easily come off with water. Does he think I am stupid? Tires leave black marks on roads and do not disappear. It is the same thing. IT HAS BEEN IN THE GROUND LESS THAN A MONTH. This is blatant disregard of respect for the dead and the living coming to grieve. It is not just our headstone but there are many others covered in tracks- even worse blade marks from grass cutting tools. How negligent can someone be? How disrespectful. We spent a lot of money on this place. Included with that they should be taking pretty good care of it as we do not own the land it is on. It's not like we have the freedom to put a small fence around it. We are relying on others for the care and upkeep of something precious to us but are being let down. We cleaned it with water and we wiped it down with windex. And spent well over an hour trying to get the marks to come off. Still there. Clear as day. This cemetary will take your money but not take care of your loved one's resting place. UPDATE: I guess it depends on who you talk to in the office. I went today (Sept 19th) with my mom to ask for it to be professionally cleaned and the two men we talked to- Narciso and Jack- were very sympathetic and understanding. They had a great demeanor. They gave us the steps to have it taken care of. I feel much better about the choice to have my sister buried here. I hope I can update my review further and better after the headstone is fixed. read more

I buried my mother there in 1982 and have since moved out-of-state. I recently visited on a Sunday, following a long drive. The office was closed, but the only restroom facilities they provide for visitors when the office is closed, are two skanky outhouses, which were out of toilet paper and hand sanitizer. Shame on them! Gas stations in the middle of nowhere do better. I can only imagine what it must be like for, say, an older woman, more recently bereft, perhaps dressing up a bit to visit her dearly departed husband, faced with such disgusting facilities. read more
