I will never go back to this hospital again. I was treated so very rudely and unprofessionally. When I was at my lowest point in life and so very sick and weak I was treated with utter cruelty. The ER staff, namely Dr. Park tried to help as did a couple others in their walk in clinic (Margarita and a lady in finance) but others are a disgrace to their profession, such as unhelpful staff when making appointments, leaving the doors open during examinations and disclosing personal details out loud harshly when in waiting rooms. My husband and I call this hospital "Holy MRSA". I had to have surgery by a specialized doctor and he suggested the fastest way to go was to come to Holy MRSA. Wish we had waited!! The staff in post op is completely incompetent, one of the nurses we called Nurse Ratchett, no kidding. The nurses were incompetent. My husband had to call the HOSPITAL DIRECTOR in the middle of the night to get help!! Obviously from our name, you guessed it, they gave me hospital acquired MRSA. Their treatment was also incompetent, and we had to fly home to Florida sick as can be to save my life!! They immediately saw me at UF, and were horrified at what they did and how their sterility was horrible. (Not washing hands each time they came into my room, not enough washing stations, nurses aides cleaned the bathroom, and then changing my sheets without changing gloves. My husband insisted that he change his gloves, and took offense!) When we checked into their OSHA ratings, we found out that they were FINED for their lack of sterility care!!! My doctor won't even practice there anymore. Do yourself a lifesaving favor, and AVOID surgery in this horrible, horrible place!! Wish I could give negative stars. This hospital appears to be clean and parking is easy. But preadmission for outpatient surgery was terrible -- load mouth, unprofessional nurse and the technician that took my blood clearly hates her job. A simple blood sample rendered my arm black and blue and I'm certain she did it on purpose. Outpatient nurses were surly and unattentive. Couldn't get a wheelchair out because everyone was too busy eating lunch so they left me when I couldnt walk. My surgical point became very swollen because it took them so long to come with ice even though I called for them multiple times. Given the choice, Hackensack is far superior. The lady in charge of "nourishment" cursed and bad mouthed her colleagues in front of patients. Everyone appeared to hate their jobs. read more

Very poor Holy Name Hospital ambulance driver that is more interested in the power she has to force drivers out of her way. I saw her coming behind me and was in the middle lane of three lanes and knowing that Holy Name Hospital was to the right I stayed in the center lane with no one on either side of me. She pulled up behind me blowing the sirens for me to move into oncoming traffic. Why didn't she go to the right lane, she was going that way? My passenger was also shocked at the actions of the ambulance driver. read more

Don't ever, ever, ever use their physical therapy facility. This is absolutely highway robbery. My son was here several weeks for therapy and we were charged $800 per session. The worse part of it is that the therapist didn't even do anything to him - gave him a few exercises to do on his own while he chatted with other employees. Lesson learned!! read more

Been going to this hospital for a long time. I like the doctors and nurses at the er. Have always gotten great care there for myself and my children. Since their renovation, they started collecting er co pays recently and i have noticed that the quality of care from the staff since the renovation has plummeted. Not to mention, this is the only er I know of that expects you to pay your insurance copay before you're seen by a doctor. This has lead me to believe that maybe this er is more concerned about getting money than helping and caring for people. And before anyone starts in on me, I have insurance and don't have a problem paying my copay insurance however, I do have a problem being asked to pay it before I've been seen. Is this even legal? I know that I don't pay my physician's copay until I have seen my doc and am on my way out. If you are going to the ER - you obviously feel it is an emergency. I guess before you go here you have to make sure you have your check book or credit card now not just your insurance card and id. When you ask the front desk staff about them collecting the money up front, they are actually quite rude by rolling their eyes at you and not even looking at you when they speak to you. I guess they just don't want to be bothered. I feel sad the way this hospital has gone down hill. It's always been a great community hospital and very close to my home. However, I will take quality care over distance any day and will save Holy Name Hospital for those incidents where distance might be the deciding factor of life and death. My husband came into HNH via ER and we found the staff and testing to be caring and efficient. He had surgery the next day and we had no issues with OR or nursing on the patient floor. Where we ran into trouble was with discharge. The nurse gave him the bag in which his clothing was placed in the ER and we discovered his pants (actually shorts, it was a hot day) and the belt, his favorite, were nowhere to be found. That is unacceptable. Does a patient need to send ALL belongings home with a family member while hospitalized??? HNH must have a system to secure basic belongings!!! read more

Terrible and very unprofessional. I brought my mother in because of Psyciatric issues and they wanted discharge her right away because her blood work was fine. I had to make a big stink in order to have her referred to another facility. The Psyciatric dept. is clearly unqualified to treat patients. I would never go here again. Truly one of the worst hospitals in the state, if not the nation. My parents had gone twice separately - one for the emergency room and the other for surgery. Both times, we went through such horrendous experiences, it was maddening. For the emergency room, a cardiologist surgeon basically threatened by father he will die if he leaves. We chose to leave since it was beyond obvious they were keeping him for endless tests just to bankroll the hospital. He's 100% fine (thank goodness!) and even his PCP was perplexed on the additional tests for no apparent reason. For my mom, her surgeon's hospital was Holy Name so we had no choice but to go there again. We paid for her co-pay in cash (there were 2 witnesses - my parents) and off they went to their hospital room to wait until she will be rolled into surgery. The lady in the office who took the funds then exclaimed we never paid (yet we have the receipt). Once it was apparent my parents will take it with the higher-ups, the woman bolted! She then had the audacity to call me and apologize and explain she will mail the balance back. But guess what? We just got the bill for the co-pay so it was apparent this woman who works in their billing office, pocketed it. The audacity of all this!!!!!!! I will now need to spend my valuable time to fight this charge due to the unethical and unprofessionalism of this hospital. PLEASE DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS HOSPITAL. Save your precious time, energy, money and most importantly, your health!!!! NEVER, EVER AGAIN will I let anyone I know and care about allow them to even set their foot in this hospital again. read more

I was brought here because Hackensack Hospital was filled due to the flu. If I would have known better I just would have gone home but with respiratory problems I had to go. First off things went fine till the morning Dr. Came on and decided to change my meds after 3 years! Then when they wheeled me to my bed my purse went missing which of course could not be their fault although I insisted a police officer found it when I suggested they through it in the trash with the other linens on the gurny. This after me being hysterical for 4 hours. Still nothing to calm my nerves or alleviate my pain. Maybe the dr will give me something in morning ! Huh right pass the buck to morning nurses. I won't be here anymore by then anyway. If I didn't have breathing problem I'd leave now. Never at it's busiest have I seen Hackensack treat people this way. I came out of same day surgery today from Holy Name Medical Center and I had a very good experience. The staff was very nice, polite and helpful. My surgery was scheduled for first thing in the morning. My boyfriend came in with me and they offered to validate his parking ticket. We walked in and I was immediately shown to my room, given a gown and everything was explained to me. I was having some trouble with my gown and Nurse Felicia was nice enough to come in and help me out. Everyone that came in to take my blood pressure, set up the IV etc....were extremely nice. Very sweet people that work there. While in recovery, they let me sleep it off a bit and when my ride arrived, Nurse Felicia was there again to assist me getting dressed. She helped me maneuver the IV bag in order to get my shirt on. Discharge was a breeze. They had someone take me downstairs to the lobby in a wheel chair where my ride was waiting for me. read more

I am a patient of Holy Name Hospital for about 28 years and I have always been satisfied with the service that I've received at Holy Name. In the last year my daughter became ill and was sent to the Emergency Room. She had a swollen neck and extreme fatigue. The doctor's believed that she had mononucleosis. The lab results came back negative, but the doctor explained that the sickness is fairly new and her body might have not had enough time to show in the tests. That same night she was sent home with the wrong diagnosis and lost a week of school. Due to the wrong diagnosis, the following week I had to take her to a different hospital and there she was admitted for four days with intravenous therapy while also losing an additional week. Since no medication was given her, she only became more ill. I understood that I had to pay the $50 copay because the same day she was brought to the ER she was sent home. For considering myself as a responsible adult, I considered that the only money that I owed them for giving us the wrong diagnosis was the copay; obviously it wasn't reality, because my daughter had no treatment at Holy Name for a noticeable swollen neck. She might have not remained ill for an extended period if Holy Name in the first place reacted correctly to her swollen neck. She ended up having an abscess in her neck with lots of pain and discomfort. I feel extremely disappointed because this could have been different if was treated from the start. Another bad experience started in March 2013. My primary doctor works with Holy Name Hospital and my doctor told me I had to go. According to policy rules from my insurance, if you leave the same day you went to the Emergency Room you had to pay the copay, but I was admitted so I did not understand why I being charged. According to the billing department, I was being charged because I was under observation. That is incorrect because I was receiving treatment, not being observed. I had to pay $1,500 and later had it deducted by 10%. I feel insulted and robbed by an institution that I trusted and considered responsible. And if you are wondering why I went back after my bad experience with my daughter, as previously mentioned, my primary doctor participates at Holy Name Hospital. I strongly recommend to not go to holy name until the service in improved. read more

Today he had to get a port removed from his chest and some whack job Dr.Lucky came up to him and said "Today I' will be insert a tube into your groin." and he was stopped in his tracks because he had the wrong patient. This is literally the worst hospital I've ever been in. And for me to say that means a lot as I've been in far too many of them in my life, as patient, family member or employee. I was sent to this hospital, to be seen in the ER, by my doctor to be evaluated for emergency surgery. I was in severe abdominal pain. The office called and let them know I was coming. Yet they left me sitting in the waiting room for FOUR HOURS. My husband kept asking why it was taking so long and he was told they were very busy and cases were taken back in order of urgency and more serious cases were sent back first. Clearly they felt cuts and sprains needed more urgent care. My husband finally called the surgeons office who flipped on the staff and I was taken back immediately to a mostly empty ER, though treated like I was a royal B word by the staff for daring to complain! After a few tests I was rushed to surgery because my intestines had collapsed and were in danger of rupture from them ignoring me for so long. This is where I add I've worked in a hospital for a long time and I've seen a busy ER. To me that would mean every bed is full and stretchers in the halls. At Holy Name it means the staff might work up a sweat. And it didn't get any better once I was admitted. While there was a handful of very nice staff they were FAR outnumbered by rude, incompetent and condescending staff. First off they lost my husband! They left him sitting in an OR waiting room for hours, worried sick, and took me to a room where the staff informed me I was hallucinating when I kept asking them to get him. When I needed surgery again two days later, yep they left him there again. The place was truly filthy and this was during a state inspection! I wound up with a severe intestinal infection after discharge as a result. The entire time I was there I was never given a bedside table even after repeatedly asking. I had to beg for help to wash or dress, the staff would just come in and throw linens on the bed. They somehow expected me to wash myself while connected to wires and tubes. Thankfully I knew how to disconnect myself and my husband was there to help me! And my rights as a patient were completely violated on several occasions. The worst offense was from a nurse. She insisted I had to eat before going home (with no table) and took offense that I refused the stone cold, rock hard, powered eggs she brought me. Informed me that I "needed to suck it up" and "I could have something more to my liking" when I got home. She then went to the nurse's station and loudly discussed me and how she wanted me off her floor. I was at the end of the hall, so this meant everyone on that floor could hear her. And this is just some of the issues. My treatment here was SO bad that I actually filed a formal complaint with the state. read more

I honestly would give this hospital zero stars if it was possible. I've never been to a place in which all they care about is money. I was admitted into the ER around 8:30 P.M., and after seeing a couple nurses and the ER doctor (who by the way wanted to just send me home when I knew it would be better to stay and get treatment) waited until 12:00 A.M to admit me into the hospital and give me the treatment I needed. The reason they didn't want to admit me and give me my medicine earlier is because they didn't want to go through dealing with the insurance company for an extra day when they could just let the patient wait uncomfortably for hours. They also have no shame in lying to sick people about what they actually do in terms of ordering blood work and medicine. Holy Name literally has to be the worst hospital in New Jersey. I have been to many hospitals in New Jersey, and I understand when there is a long wait-time in hospitals like The University Hospital in Newark, which has to service thousands upon thousands of people everyday, but a small-scale hospital like Holy Name (which by the way claims to be a "community hospital") makes their patients wait incredible wait times just to save money. I honestly hope that the Institutional Review Board does an investigation of the shady activities that occur in Holy Name Hospital, which include deception and being a mercenary in respect to the patient's money. I've had my share of long waits at hospitals, and I truly understand why some hospitals (like the University Hospital) has long waits because of the volume they see, but Holy Name Hospital has no excuse. It makes no sense that I had to wait over 4 hours at Holy Name Hospital compared to waiting 3 hours at University Hospital which has many more patients. Please, do yourself a favor and try and find a better hospital (which is covered by your insurance of course) before coming to Holy Name because you honestly will regret it. read more

I am a 33 year old woman who has had chronic blood clots since I was 20. When I first started dealing with this issue, I was going to JFK hospital in Edison since it was literally 5 minutes from my house. In the beginning, I didn't know much about hospitals and doctors and always thought that all doctors could be trusted. However, after having multiple horrible experiences at JFK (doctors lying to me, doctors not believing when I said I was in pain, nurses lying and being rude, nurses not responding to my calls for assistance, pain medicine not being administered on schedule, dirty rooms and bathrooms, waiting for hours and hours in the ER, witnessing doctors yell at nurses and nurses yell at medical students, surgeries gone wrong, and the list goes on!) and a month long stay without any positive progress, I was able to get the name of a vascular surgeon at Holy Name Hospital from another disgruntled Dr at JFK. Since I found Dr Rundback, I kissed JFK goodbye and never looked back! I also switched to a hematologist (Dr Diamond) at Holy Name Hospital and have never been happier. Dr Rundback and Dr Diamond are amazing, they have wonderful bedside manner and great communication. I absolutely trust them with my life and know that the hour drive to see them is worth it. The hospital is clean and their valet service is great. They have volunteers who are waiting at the door to ask if you need a wheelchair and will take you anywhere you need to go. The cafe has great food and my parents and I actually look forward to eating there! I have only had to go to the ER once, but the wait time was incredibly short and the staff was so helpful and friendly (the nurse literally took my arm and assisted me when I said I was feeling weak). The ER staff was fast (had a CAT scan done within an hour) and very efficient. I have never once felt forgotten about any time I have gone here for a procedure or just a simple appointment. Even though the hospital itself is older, the medical equipment is new and state-of-the-art. Just the other day I went in for a procedure to remove clotting in my leg and I literally watched the procedure on the monitors as it was happening. When I got back to my room after the procedure was finished, there was water, ice, coffee, fruit, a muffin and a turkey sandwich waiting for me. The toilet seat even had a paper cover on it saying that it was just cleaned! I've never had to stay here overnight yet, so I can't comment on that. I would recommend this hospital to everyone. The only negative I can think of is that they are pretty conservative when it comes to administering pain medication (or maybe that might just be Dr Rundback).... but nowadays with the opioid epidemic, it's understandable. read more

Horrible hospital. Their care for the elderly is abysmal. Every doctor and nurse I dealt with acted like they were trying to get away with doing the least amount of work possible. They rotate nurses every day, so no one seems to know what is going on with any patient. The doctors are busy, which is understandable, but hard to reach, and the staff doesn't respond unless you are forceful and/or cause a scene. Many of the nurses are callous and uncaring. It was clearly noted that my grandmother needed feeding, and they forgot to feed her multiple times. read more

When a hospital claims to accept your insurance, that should mean that they accept whatever payment your insurance provider pays out. My primary doctor (Manuel Arias, from Union City) and the surgeon were waiting for the results to operate a/s/a/p . . . .As of today, Friday, 12/20/13 Dr Manuel Arias HAVE NOT RECEIVE THE RESULTS OF THE TEST and my operation is in stand by. I had a very negative experience at this hospital with some of the hospital staff and the Anesthesiologists (Dr. Gwertzman, head of Anesthesiology & Dr Martin. I was in for day surgery. The anesthesiologist did not explain the drugs I was going to be given. He just called them sedatives. I was led to believe that I would be speaking to my surgeon again in the OR before the surgery but the anesthesiologist (Dr. Martin at Bergen Anesthesiologist Group) gave me the sedative in the hallway outside the OR doors instead (how unprofessional) which knocked me out in 30 seconds and I was unable to speak with my surgeon before the surgery. I was under the impression I might be getting a Valium if needed but instead I was given (Versed, known as the date rape drug). After the surgery I started having nightmares and flashbacks because of the drugs given. I was treated like a child. Everything was hush hush. I was thank full I had a good surgeon Dr. Marta who knew what he was doing. His follow-up skills were lacking but much better than the hospital's.The facility must have been clean (I did not get to see the OR) as I did not get an infection. I ended up having to speak to a therapist over my anger and nightmares. I had surgeries at other hospitals and they always took the time to explain exactly what medications I would be given. (I was treated like an adult at the other hospitals). I called the Advocacy department and Ron Tirado, Director of Family and Patient Relations, told me that my grievance is now closed but I am still seeing a therapist over this (which the hospital refuses to pay for). Upon being discharged from the surgical procedure, I received pediatric discharge instructions (not adult instructions). The nurse was nice and said she would have my pain killers (Tylenol and Codeine) called in to CVS and that CVS would deliver them to my house since they know I was going home alone. (One of the nicer services the hospital offered was to arranged for my ride home). By the way, Codeine cannot be delivered - you must go and pick it up yourself. That being said I had to make numerous call to find someone to bring me to CVS to pick up my medication but no one was able to do so until 5 pm. Needless to say, this experience has me questioning everyone's role in this debacle. read more

Don't trust this hospital or recommendations for rehab. My mother was a patient and was sent to CareOne Teaneck for rehab...well guess what my mother got a pressure ulcer (stage 3 going to stage 4 by the time sent back to Holyname) under their care. They didn't even know about it. And after being sent back to HolyName my mom had to go through 4 surgical procedures. My mother can't speak english well so got doctor who can speak the language. That doctor tells my father "if it was my loved one, I would sue" Next thing we know admin. changes doctor on us. After first surgery, they put my mom under new dept. Palitive care or something. This doctor basically is trying to get us to give up on my mom by saying things like she won't survive, even used the word torture describing the pain my mom was going through. After the fourth surgery, I made a comment about making a complaint, not about the hospital but the care center. My last conversation with Social worker D. she asks if i was planning on making complaint about hospital or CareOne. WTF...do you work for CAREONE???? We were applying for medicaid to help with my mom's medical expenses. Last thing that social worker says to me was "you know, for your mom to get approved for medicaid I have to write a recommendation letter" What a good hospital and administration!!! read more

ANESTHIOLOGY DEPT. BAD!!!! -I have received decades of great care from Holy Name Hospital UNTIL NOW!!! Getting a SEDATED MRI approved by the Anesthesiology Dept. took 15 DAYS after all insurance and doctor approvals were submitted. I had a herniated spinal disc and was in extreme (level 7) pain. Even after multiple days of phone calls from me, the Radiology Dept. and my doctor they took 15 days to merely review my file and place me on the schedule. When they called to schedule me I was in the process of scheduling the test in another hospital out of desperation. There was no sort of explanation for the delay or effort to expedite it so that my doctor could evaluate my condition and schedule the surgery I received shortly after they FINALLY did the MRI. To say that I was angry about their indifference is an understatement. Go to a hospital that will take your pain seriously for this particular test. read more

It used to be a nice hospital, but to be honest now is becoming the worst place and all because of the employees of the hospital. I was at ER with my wife she had a severe pain on her arm, after waiting for 2 hours my wife ask to the nurse how much longer she have to wait for her to get her shot that was ordered by the floor Doctor 2 hours ago, because she had been waiting for 1 hour and he responded with Jokes Saying "jajajaj you only have been waiting for an hour. Hang in there". After 40 minute he showed up and I told him that was very unprofessional making jokes and been sarcastic when somebody is on pain, I told him that he should said "I'm busy please wait and I will be with you as soon as possible". He throw the medicine on the table and said hold on and left so he ask to another coworker to move us from that room because he won't put the medicines on her so they moved us to different room with a another nurse because he didn't wanted to do it. I'm very disappointed because this used to be my favorite Hospital since I live in Teaneck. read more

Stay away from the Breast Center at Holy Name Hospital. I was there a year ago and they made up a diagnosis just to keep taking unnecessary scans for a routine manmogram. I know this because I am now in a different practice, very highly regarded in New York City, and they did not find any problems and completed the scans with minimal discomfort. After my visit to Holy Name Breast Center, I was bruised and uncomfortable for days. My prescription was for a mammogram only and they altered it to include a sonogram so that they can bill more money to my insurance company. I have proof of that because I stored the original prescription on my computer and they clearly added sonogram to the original. To add insult to injury, the front desk and appointment people are rude. The technician actually admonished me because after 2 hours of back and forth painful scans, I wasn't smiling! The difference in my experience at Holy Name Breast Center and my new practice is jarring and alarming. I write this review in the hopes that I can help protect other women from a similar experience. read more

I took my sister to the emergency room last weekend. She had a hysterectomy a month earlier and started to bleed heavily Friday night. I took her to the er around 11 pm. She told the girl at the front desk that she was bleeding heavily and told her if she sat in the waiting room she was going to bleed on the chairs. Girl at the reception didn't blink an eye and told her to wait in the waiting room and she went back gossiping with two other girls behind the desk and security guards. Finally, got back to an er room and told the nurse what she had been through and what was happening. We didn't see the nurse for another hour and a half and then a PA (who was pretty incompetent) came in and basically knew nothing. Finally, saw an ob/gyn who stopped her bleeding after about 5 hours of being in the er. After a long night in the er she finally got into a room on one of the floors at 10 am. Thankfully, she only spent a night there as the floor staff was really no better. When she went back home a few days later she saw her oncologist who told her that they should have given her a blood transfusion due to the amount of blood she lost and her drop in blood pressure. Also, how the ob/gyn had stopped the bleeding could have caused her sutures to tear. Bottom line, Holy Name Hospital is horrible!! I hadn't heard bad things about Holy Name and I knew that Hackensack was going to be hours of waiting so I thought it better to take her to Holy Name - big mistake on my part. Eventhough Hackensack Med Center's er is so busy and you'll wait hours the quality of healthcare is far superior!! read more

I will make this simple and sweet: never in my life in the world of hospitals (and unfortunately the whole concept of being fixed in general has seemed to become my second home) have I ever been so well treated, taken care of so promptly, efficiently, and perhaps most importantly, with such kindness, caring, warmth, tenderness and love, than I was treated by the staff at Holy Name during a recent stay there in which they kept me from bleeding to death. If it wasn't for the immediate service and care that I received, I probably would've been in a most terrible way, if in a way at all. But they took such amazing care of me..so personal and in depth to make me right. I'd especially like to thank the ER nurses who came rushing to my aid at 3am. Jorge being one of them. And a girl whose name was either Amanda or Colleen..which I really should know because she was so effing awesome. I don't know how they do the stuff they do at such ungodly hours - but they were definitely the angels on my shoulder that night. This is definitely my hospital of choice. read more

The staff is awful in the cancer unit. I sat there over an hour waiting for my mother to be called on to be seen by the doctor. I observed an elderly man sitting there moaning - whoever stopped to address him said they would be right back - guess what - no one EVER came back - I had to get up after waiting an hour and yell at the person at the desk to get this man help - again they said they would be right back - guess what - they DIDNT come back - after 20 more minutes I screamed at them again seeking assistance for this man - FINALLY a young doctor was passing him and addressed him by name and went and told the staff that it was too cold for this man who has been sitting for 2 1/2 hours - that he needed to be put in a room immediately - If he didn't come who knows what would of happened to that elderly man - VERY UNCARING STAFF - As for me - I was told to see the doctor after 90 minute wait - I asked when it was my mother's turn to see the doctor - they did not have my mother down as seeing the doctor - even after I told them that they called the unit and said that my mother had to go upstairs to see the doctor - VERY UNPROFESSIONAL - VERY HORRIBLE THE WAY THE PATIENTS ARE BEING TREATED - NO ONE CARES ON THIS UNIT read more

Caution. We had a horrifying experience at holy name hospital. When we arrived at the hospital for a scheduled surgery, Our son age 4, had a temp of 101. We were concerned and asked to reschedule the operation but the staff insisted that it was ok. We took their advice and went through the surgery. After surgery, he was transferred to the pediatric unit and had a very high temp. The nurse who took take of him didn't even care and was very rude when we asked to check his temp or anything he needed. She even went to the extreme to say " ur son is not the only sick child at this hospital". He was so sick that he didn't want to take medication but the nurse got very loud with him stating she didn't have time to sit and wait. They were going to discharge him with a temp of 103.5 but fought to get a pediatrician to evaluate him but didn't do anything. He was then discharged and we immediately took him to the ER at another hospital where he was seen by the infectious disease specialist team. He was in and out of the ER and doctors office for over 2 weeks. When we left holy name my son couldn't move his neck and had a very high fever and in a lot of pain. How could you insist on discharging a patient who just had a surgery with these symptoms. They never even followed up or called us to check up on him. I urge anyone to think twice about going there especially pediatric patients. read more

do not ever, and i mean ever go to this hospital if you are a high risk pregnant woman !!! the maternal fetal doctors are all incompetent !!!! i had 2 miscarriages being at this hospital (both in the same year) . for the 2nd miscarriage i beggged to get a cerclage placed at 12 weeks because with my first pregnancy we found out that i had a weak cervix (after i already lost the baby). the maternal fetal doctor did not listen to me and made me get the cerclage at 17 weeks! long story short i got an infection and lost my baby again!! i spoke with several doctors out side of holy name hospital and they all were astounded that the maternal fetal doctors did not think getting a cerclage placed at 12 weeks was the right thing to do! me getting the cerclage at 17 weeks aloud bacteria to reach by cervix since it was already slighty opened (it would have been closed at 12 weeks) this hospital does not care about you !!! they care about money !!! only the nurses are good and very sweet . but never ever ever go here if you are a high risk pregnant woman !!!! go to hackensack or englewood hospital !!!! save yourself the hurt and pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i came into this office leaking because my water broke and they took their sweet time admitting me to the er and then to the maternity ward. read more
