I recommend using their valet as it saves you ample time. Once inside the staff were extremely helpful telling me exactly where I needed to go and which elevators and turns to make. Visiting my grandmother was easy and extremely pleasant. The new rooms are laid out extremely well as they have bathrooms, ample chairs, and a bench that turns into a bed for overnight guests as well.

Now I'm not fond of hospitals or medical buildings in general, cause in reality places like that…read moremake me uncomfortable, but I came here to see an elderly patient who is a mutual friend of a friend of mine, the patient at the moment is being well taken care of, the hospital itself is pretty organized and with adequate ample space as well as sanitized, I also like the selected doctors that show up on the TV screen in the room, but IMO I think every patient should have their own assigned set of RNs instead of different RNs everyday for the same patient, until the patient is discharged, then if necessary, a private nurse can be assigned after, that way, different doctors won't make the patient confused and figure which doctor is which, but overall, super grateful that the elderly patient has been taken care of in general, overall, it's a nice hospital, I also like the ambience of the waterfall and the butterfly garden when you leave the hospital, I also like that you don't pay for the parking when you park your car, unlike some of the other hospitals I have been to, so that's a plus..

But by far Pascack valley hospital was excellent from emergency room triage doctors nurses even food or all excellent everyone was professional knew their job 1-2-3. Now I know all hospitals have been beat up nurses doctors during this time of Covid. But again Pascack Valley was excellent I had a major infection on my foot where I could easily lost half my foot and they did not hesitate they were excellent I wish I could remember everyone's name but I will give a shout out to patient advocate Dawn Depalma thank you Dawn for doing an excellent job you and your staff should all be commended

People were peeing on the floors accompanied to the bathroom by two people and continuous yelling and screaming from every room people being chained to beds yelling and pleading for help and being told to be be quiet or they will forcibly inject them to sedate them. Staff was rude, arguing with patients. The doctor dismissed all questions and concerns said he was too busy and then the unit refused to call actual treating providers and doctors, or obtain numbers to do so from the locked up phone. The food was constantly cold and disgusting. The stigma was present at all times and lack of care and concern for human decency exists fully here, they strip you and force you to cough just as you would in jail. This is not a place for treatment, it's a prison. it's more traumatizing than actually dealing with how you are feeling with your OWN doctors.

It works by giving the surgeon a magnified, 3D high-definition view of the surgical site while they control robotic arms with instruments from a console." Dr Michael Pitter (RIP) was my Doctor who performed this masterful work. The nursing staff was simply divine with their TLC, compassion and professionalism kindness towards me. I was preparing to have my Mammogram and Ultrasound done. However, I was informed by my scheduler at Columbia Doctors that I needed my images from my last mammogram (2014) with Hackensack University Medical Center. Today, nothing has changed with the remarkable, caring, positive staffers, that give TLC as their standard. A professional body of heartwarming staff at Hackensack University Medical Center. I called and requested my images. They returned the call the next day, and my images and report were ready. I drove to NJ, got my ticket stamped for free parking from the Breast Cancer Screening Center. Dropped off my images to Columbia Doctors on West 51st Street in the heart of Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall (so cool). At the end of the movie, it was a joyous experience that made me feel truly gratefully happy and cared for by Hackensack University Medical Center and Columbia Doctors/NY Presbyterian Hospital. The great news is that my Mammogram and Ultrasound was negative. AMEN

Here we go again and this is the reason why Holy Name Hospital has such a low rating!…read more Back in August 2025 my son responded there after being in a motor vehicle accident and bumping his head just to get checked out to make sure he was fully OK The waiting area for the emergency trauma section was not terribly busy but he had waited nearly an hour to be seen. After being brought into the nurses station area they took his pulse and his blood pressure and were taking his temperature when the nurse walked away and did not come back for over 15 minutes with the thermometer in his mouth. When she did she went to do something else from what he says and didn't respond back to him for nearly 20 minutes at which time he got up and left because in his terms it was unreasonable to be treated in that manner especially after hitting his head and something could've been seriously wrong with him. After a month and a half we received a notice from the hospital billing that they were not paid for a $600 bill so at that time we submitted the bill to our insurance company GEICO and we began to have issues because Holy Name refused to submit the appropriate bill with itemized services so that GEICO could appropriately pay the bill. This went on two more times with the HOSPITAL refusing to submit the proper bill. In early December 2025 for the second time I contacted my auto insurance company GEICO who took holy names phone number in personally contacted them and my adjuster Joelle assured me that the bill would get paid because she had spoken to holy name. Fast-forward to April seventh 2026 and now my son is getting bills from a legal team collections stating that holy name was never paid and they are collecting for them well you have to contacting GEICO they advise me that after two person the person called phone calls the hospital still has not submitted an itemized bill for them to pay otherwise they would've paid it promptly. The insurance company explained to me that many times these bills are created in fraud and need to be verified and sent with the proper treatments with their codes so that the insurance company can pay them and holy name has been refusing so far to comply with the normal standards yet they're doing everything to avoid paying the bill in the appropriate manner meanwhile screwing my sons credit record up.

Had my first MRI today and a couple other exams. Got there early and had breakfast at the cafe. $3…read morefor a coffee and oatmeal with a topping bar. Very nice! Check in was easy. Got a locker and a very soft white spa robe. Ugly grey rubber grip socks, though. Someone should consult on those. Maybe add some butterflies or fun colors? The staff, nurses and techs were friendly. They explained the procedures clearly and were patient with my questions. The MRI schedule was running a little behind so I was treated to extra warm blankets while I waited. Turns out, MRI's aren't that bad. Had my eyes closed so I didn't mind the tight space. The random banging is only slightly annoying. I couldn't hear the music through the headphones, so I would request it to be louder next time. The IV needle was the worst part. Once they removed it, I was fine, and was on my way. There's plenty of parking, and a gift shop if you need basic things.
