He has been caring for my kids since they were born and they hardly get sick. He also will not play medical doctor with you and even likes to be called Anthony although i call him Dr. D. Every win, however small, was a win for both of us. My healing took a lot of different treatment modalities, and I'm grateful to have had a PT who encouraged that and connected with my other doctors. Marks level of insight and expertise were excellent, and the overall experience was a new one for me as pertains to physical therapy. I have been through many facilities for different recoveries and they all felt like I was getting a mediocre training session at a gym for hurt people. The sessions with MVMZT by comparison were done in a private room in a 1:1 setting so I was the full focus of the therapists attention, not one of 3 a therapist was running between at most places. My overall pain in the area has been reduced by therapeutic treatment for scar tissue and mobility in the area in the office sessions and my strength in the affected knee has been significantly improved after the strengthening program I was given at MVMT, both in office and at home prescribed workouts. I could not give MVMT and Mark Lusk a stronger recommendation, he is absolutely world class.

I personally have been experiencing some lower back pain for almost a year due to improper postures and prolonged sitting. A family friend (who ran 10+ marathons) recommended Total Strive Wellness and Dr. Tiffany and my experiences so far have nothing but spectacular! I saw Dr. Tiffany Gunawardena and her colleagues, Dr. Michael Natal, Dr. Zhang, and have had massages from Christina and Zach for about two months. During my first session, someone from the front desk explained to me how my insurance works. After that, each session was a combo of chiropractic care with either massage, acupuncture and or PT as I progress in my journey. One thing I notice and appreciate the most is that the doctors have their share of/personal experiences with pain before. After researching physical therapists near Gramercy, I took a chance on Strive and was not disappointed! So grateful for them! I have had 4 appointments and found these positive attributes: 1) Accept Insurance- such a plus honestly! They will pair medical procedure like acupuncture tire/cupping/ chiropractor with the 30 minutes sports massage. Very transparent with prices and what insurance does and doesn't cover. 2) Always on time and efficient! I've never waited more than 5 minutes 3) I've had 4 separate massage therapists, and each one was great! Not a bad sports massage to date Only negative Ive found is as much as I can see his positive intentions, Xing Xhang LAC acupuncturist seems to rush through his procedures. Specifically with acupuncture, patient is always left with the emergency button and after 3 visits, I finally asked what to do in the event of an uncomfortable needle or emergency and he THEN went and got an emergency button. I am extremely disappointed in the care I received from Integrative PT of NYC. I really wanted to…read morelike it here after reading all of the great reviews, which is why I felt obligated to write this review after having such a poor experience here. My first appointment left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth, however, I decided to give them another chance as it was only the first appointment. I was taken late and released early which I did not appreciate. I was told the original appointment would be 1 hour and it took roughly 35 minutes. I saw LilliAnn for my first appointment and scheduled weekly follow up appointments with her. I confirmed with the receptionist in the office that going forward my appointments would be with LilliAnn. When I showed up for my second appointment I was also taken ~10 minutes late by a man who I had not previously met or worked with at all. He informed me that my appointment that day would be with Mackenzie, and that she wanted me to get started with a particular exercise. Not only had I never heard of or even been introduced to Mackenzie, I also had never done the exercise he was referencing. I questioned as to whether or not he had the right person as I was there for my appointment with LilliAnn. He informed me only then that LilliAnn was "double booked" and that Mackenzie would be working with me that day. I found it very unprofessional that I was not informed of this the second I checked in, or honestly, notified before I even arrived for my appointment. This was especially troubling as I had been there one week before and scheduled the appointment with LiliAnn. The man then went to grab Mackenzie who seemed very bothered that I was confused as to what was going on and asking questions. She then proceeded to ask me multiple questions that LilliAnn had asked and I had answered at my FIRST appointment a week prior. I finally asked Mackenzie if I should expect to answer these same questions at every appointment, because LilliAnn had asked me the same questions just the week before. Mackenzie was very aggressive, dismissive, and right out pissed off by my question informing me that she had read my chart. She then abruptly went to the back without warning, only to come back a few minutes later to continue with my session. I also found it unprofessional that LilliAnn was present and never came to tell me what was going on. She popped out for a second, saw I was with Mackenzie and quickly ran back into whatever room she came from. Even excluding the aforementioned disaster, I was not impressed by the care or "physical therapy" I received whatsoever. Mackenzie proceeded to give me 2-3 exercises at once, told me to complete 2 sets of 12 of each exercise and walked away. She was also working with another patient at the same time as me and instructing her to do exercises as well. More than half the time I was completing the exercises she instructed I complete, she was not even in the room. All this is to say that I would think twice before booking an appointment with Integrative PT of NYC. It is not worth the time or the headache. Don't say I didn't warn you!
