Though initially I went to see her for help with motion sickness that medication no longer helped, she shared that she felt the true root of my problems had to do with my disruptive sleep patterns. Though I have taken sleep aids for years (and, truly, remember being a child without good sleep), I no longer wake several times overnight so that I am getting much better quality sleep. Well, she wasn't wrong! I have taken 7 flights since beginning treatment and have been able to FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS look out the window and enjoy take off/landing (if I notice at all). I was a member of my son's PTA Board and I received an information packet on the services offered by the chiropractic center so I invited them to the school health fair. I admit I was a bit skeptical. I said to myself, if they are so great why are they advertising? I'm guilty of judging a book by it's cover. A BIG MISTAKE! Anyhow, Dr. Dave gave a presentation on wellness, spinal health and so forth. I was so impressed that I decided to visit the chiropractic center since I've had some health issues. I suffered from chronic headaches, neck pain and extreme fatigue. I've been a patient of Dr. Dave since May 2010. It's now August and I feel FANTASTIC! I haven't had one headache or migraine since. I have more energy and I'm no longer fatigued on the treadmill after 5 min. I can run longer and stronger and still not feel tired. My sleep pattern is better, work life better, it's weird but my entire mood is just different. Dr. Santucci is also with the practice and he's excellent too. I saw him once when Dr. Dave needed to leave the office. I was just as pleased. He gave recommendations to other doctors in the area who share the same beliefs the total health and well-being of their patients. As for their office staff (Lori, Diana & Marty) They are friendly and very professional. I believe they know every patient by name. It's a very cozy atmosphere. They accept most insurance plans and even if you don't have insurance; payments are affordable. Their philosophy is no one should be afraid to come into their office because they don't have insurance. Try this place out. I guarantee you will be pleased :)

Even on the phone Misty somehow knew that the pain originated from my bicep, not my back. She gave me a full hour with a combo of body work massage and acupuncture. In one session she immediately alleviated a pain that massage with another practitioner did nothing to help. The only minus is the price point. I do wish there were package deal options or a less expensive alternative so at $120 session, it would prevent me from coming more regularly. Thinking I have nothing else to lose (well except for some money lol) I then gave acupuncture a shot. Gunilla, who was at the front desk, was just lovely and welcoming - I just had to mention this! she was always a pleasure. Anyway, I had my consultation with Taya which was very thorough. It was then that I actually realized how stressed I was. I seriously did not think I was until I answered the questions she had for me. Acupuncture helped me relax and, although it didnt quite relieve my backpains (from office work), it did give some improvement with my sleep and worries. During the sessions, the tables are warm and comfortable and so conducive to sleeping/relaxing. Lights are turned off and music was soothing too. The walls, however, are quite thin so me being a light sleeper, I can easily hear some outside chatter if there are any. And plus when the train passes by, the noise can be easily heard in some of the rooms. After going 1-2x a week for around 7 months or so I could definitely tell my stress levels were getting so much better.
