It was good, but I didn't like how the juice separated from the water during the freezing so it tasted like regular ice by the time I got to the core of the popsicle. For food, I tried their Strawberry Banana Sweet Bread and that was my favorite thing! It was not too sweet and moist. It was $6.50, but not too bad for a whole loaf. The interior was fun and rustic. There are several things to shop for from different baked goods to nic nacs. The service here was pretty good and the staff seemed nice and personable. There's some parking out front as well as some picnic benches and tables with nice views of the mountains and foliage while you enjoy your treats. Overall, a good stop for some casual shopping and to enjoy a sweet treat if you're ever in the Oak Glen area.

We gobbled some raspberries straightaway at a shaded picnic table and made jam with the rest. A special shoutout to Josh, whose smiling kindness, excellent knowledge, and extra-thoughtful offer to split a full slushie into two cups for the little ones in our group made the visit even better. The store is wonderful, too, with homemade jams, jellies, and canned fruits and vegetables, olive oils and vinegars ($8/tasting), rustic merchandise, and a backroom bar featuring homemade wines ($20/5-wine tasting or $12/glass). The entire place is set up like colonial America, and the attention to detail is incredible. All of the staff stay fully in character the entire time, and their costumes are beautifully made and very detailed. It really adds to the whole experience. The farm itself isn't your typical farm,it's more of a historical village with different stations set up to demonstrate things like candle making, crocheting from that time period, how the judicial system worked, and even the types of games people used to play. One of the highlights was the Revolutionary War reenactment at the end, where the kids actually got to participate as soldiers. It was such a cool experience and also really educational at the same time. I went as part of a school group, but you could definitely visit on your own and still have a great time. The food was good, but the baked goods were the real standout -- fresh breads, pies, cookies, homemade ice cream, shakes... everything tasted amazing. I also liked that you can order ahead online and just pick up when you get there. The staff were incredibly patient and kind with the kids, even when they got a little impatient, which I really appreciated. Overall, it felt like being transported back in time, and I would absolutely love to come back again.

More importantly, we laughed and had a great time. When we arrived early in the morning, the temperature was 35 degrees and overcast. If you plan to visit here anytime soon, BRING a jacket as you WILL feel the chill the second you open your car door. It was pretty chilly, but it felt GREAT as the air was crisp and fresh. I read the many negative Yelp reviews regarding an additional fee to visit the upper area. Thank goodness they were not charging during our visit, as we would have done exactly what many other visitors did before us and left. The small shops were lovely to visit, as all the items sold are handmade and, surprisingly, very affordable. One shop was offering 50% off EVERYTHING, so my family and friends definitely took advantage of the savings. This is a fun place to visit and to get away from it all for a few hours, as long as they do not charge visitors any additional fees, including parking, which, during our visit, was free. Thank goodness for anything free nowadays.

The staff informed us that depending on what apples we want to pick, we would need to head to different parts of the farm and the price would vary. We went towards the pink ladies because I'm a huge fan. We got 2 bags and began slowly twisting the apples off the trees. Our son had a great time that he quickly filled up 2 bags and we ended up spending about $30 on all the apples. We saw they still had some pumpkins, a field for chestnuts, and fields for other types of apples. We may be back to pick other fruits when they are in season. We decided to take a break and there were a couple of stalls to purchase merchandise, snacks, and food. We tried some fresh kettle corn which was hot and popped to perfection. There was so much to see and do at the farm, such as corn maze, petting zoo, and being able to pick a bucket of apples to press your own cider! We lined up at the farm kitchen for lunch for some bbq. While waiting for 45 minutes, I could see them grilling the meats and it looked delicious. I ordered tri-tip sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, some ribs, apple slaw, and some cowboy beans. They gave us the bbq sauce on the side to put as much as we want on the meats. The meats were salty, which was disappointing, and the tri-tip was slightly tough. The ribs weren't fall of the bones, but perhaps I was expecting too much. After putting the bbq sauce on the meats, it did balance out the saltiness. The cowboy beans were ok and the apple slaw was my favorite. It had a good balance of sweet from the apples they grow and the vinegar taste that was mixed in with the other ingredients. Before we left the farm, I had to buy a small bottle of cold apple cider and a sugar free apple pie. The apple cider was definitely refreshing on a hot day and it wasn't too sweet! We arrived shortly after the farm opened up on a Saturday and was able to find a spot in the parking lot that was almost full. I read that the parking lots open up about an hour before the farm is open, so my advice is to get there early. Otherwise, you'll probably get directed to another parking lot and require some walking. The farm was clean and all the staff we interacted with were friendly.

Many events for the holidays take place at 123 Farms and this summer holds space for the beautiful lavender field and activities! The signs leading to the location were easy to find and you can either purchase your tickets online, or at the gate before you enter the festival. I loved the food, as they really try to incorporate lavender into their items, such as lavender honey, ice cream, pizza, and even a smash burger! Although nothing tasted as strong as I expected, the food was worth a try! I ended up splitting a lot of it with my friends so we could try different things. Our favorite item had to be the pepperoni and ricotta sourdough pizza! It was amazing! I'd pass on the sourdough mini donuts. Some of my first timer tips: The petting zoo ends at 5pm, so make sure to visit early if you plan on going! Go on the tractor ride when it's cooler, as my friends and I were struggling to keep cool on the ride since it's summer. And be prepared to pay for the tractor ride as it is $8 a person. Bring a fan or hat, and sunscreen! I personally don't recommend wearing sandals because there's many dirt areas and fire ants in the lavender fields! All in all, I had such fun filled day here at 123 Farm. They did a really fabulous job with the decorations and food which truly felt like a festival that didn't run you for your money. The gift shop items are definitely pricy. Definitely recommend this festival for your summer plans!

As soon as we got to the parking area none of the staff knew what we were talking about. No one knew if we had parking paid, no one knew where the event was and they didn't know where to send us. I showed them the flyer and they let us park so we went in. We talked to about 5 different employees and then we found the front lobby one directed us to. Once we figured out where we had to go we decided to get some drinks. I went up to the first drink place near the parking lot. Once I got up to order you could tell the cashier was very unhappy. I ordered two alcoholic drinks. She immediately said if I was giving alcohol to someone else I was going to have the cops called on me. I told her no I just wanted to try two drinks. She rang me up and once I picked up my drinks she again said to me, if I see you giving this to one of your little friends you will be escorted out and the police called on me. If someone reads this review it was an older white lady with dreadlocks working the booth. I am 26 years old I don't know what she targeted me for looking young and I didn't have any girlfriends with me. After that experience, I found the farmer that was leading us on the strawberry field picking. She was amazing, you could tell the farmers had a ton of passion with what they did. It was amazing history about the farm and then we all picked fresh strawberries at the end. They also gave us free fresh lemonade.

But we make it a tradition to come every Friday night and get their caramel apples. By far the BEST caramel/candy apples you will ever have. Make sure to ask to have them cut up, and they will be in perfect bite size pieces.
