They were even giving out samples, and honestly, you can't leave without taking something home! The quality is amazing, and you can truly feel the love that goes into everything they make. They are open every day. Farming and running a shop like this can be a thankless business, and most people don't realize how much hard work and expense goes into it. It was good, but I didn't like how the juice separated from the water during the freezing so it tasted like regular ice by the time I got to the core of the popsicle. For food, I tried their Strawberry Banana Sweet Bread and that was my favorite thing! It was not too sweet and moist. It was $6.50, but not too bad for a whole loaf. The interior was fun and rustic. There are several things to shop for from different baked goods to nic nacs. The service here was pretty good and the staff seemed nice and personable. There's some parking out front as well as some picnic benches and tables with nice views of the mountains and foliage while you enjoy your treats. Overall, a good stop for some casual shopping and to enjoy a sweet treat if you're ever in the Oak Glen area.

They're known for their delicious donuts, but there's so much more to enjoy! One of the cool things is that you can sample different varieties of apples before deciding which ones to take home. They also have a great selection of wines. Peach Perfect and Black Bear were two of my favorites. I was hoping to grab Red Tractor, but unfortunately, it wasn't in stock this time. For you pickers, you can pick your own raspberries and apples for a small fee. It's a great place to slow down, relax, enjoy the scenery, and spend some quality time with family.

There was a single guy handing out bags, and he was very pleasant and we got a few but when he directed us to the next area he said to follow the white ribbons. There was literally one ribbon tied to a tree and from there we just wandered along a path hoping to see something or someone else. I can't tell you how many other people were stranded and asked us where we got our apple bag. We found a second area where there was a lady in a chair in the shade. We asked her if there was a map or something, and she said that there were maps, but that she didn't have any. There were only 4-5 trees at her station and quite a few bees and fire ants in that area. It made me a bit uncomfortable with littles. The lady directed us down a hill to the cashier station. They had a small gift shop and cafe. I paid $26 for a fresh pie at the cafe but they don't weigh the apples there so I went to the general store and paid another $25 for a bag of apples, which is fine (I guess). I haven't tried the apples yet, but the pie was nothing special. It didn't have a ton of flavor and just tasted like an unseasoned baked apple. But we make it a tradition to come every Friday night and get their caramel apples. By far the BEST caramel/candy apples you will ever have. Make sure to ask to have them cut up, and they will be in perfect bite size pieces.
