This company is fraudulently operating without approval from FMCSA and without any insurance. My car was damaged by Holy City Towing, proven by their own provided photos. Their dispatcher has been nasty and rude over the phone, and has promised the owner would contact me repeatedly, yet he STILL hasn't. March 12- Vehicle towed. Side skirt on passenger side securely attached prior to the tow, and missing upon arrival as evident by the photos provided by Holy City Towing. March 19th- Email sent to Holy City Towing including photo evidence and request to talk to them about how to recoup these damages. March 20th- friendly phone call to make sure my email was received. Dispatcher informed me that the owner was not going to be in the office until Monday. March 23rd-called Holy City Towing at ~1:30pm asking for the status. Dispatcher said "He's on a call right now, then taking his kids to the dentist, so he may call you tonight, or he will call you tomorrow." March 24th- Called Holy City at ~2pm. Dispatcher immediately caught an attitude and says "He knows about it and is looking into it and he will call you." March 25th- Called Holy City ~2:15pm requesting the tow companies insurance information. The dispatcher then yelled at me that "We don't give out our insurance information for $300!" and she slammed the phone down hanging up. March 25th- I look up their DOT number (DOT 3465624) in FMCSA. According to FMCSA their insurance lapsed on March 7th, and they re operating without insurance. Do not trust this company with your vehicle if you want to avoid going to court over it. read more

My girlfriend was heading to get her passport when her car decided to break down in the Phillips Street garage. The starter was completely done for, and even jumper cables couldn't bring it back to life. We called our mechanic, and they recommended Holy City Towing. I was a bit nervous because the car was stuck on the 4th floor of the garage, and I wasn't sure if a tow truck could even fit in there. When we called, the staff at Holy City Towing were super helpful. They weren't 100% sure the truck would fit either, but they gave us a max price no matter how tricky it might get, which made me feel a lot better. Then, Matt Austin, the tow truck driver, gave us a call when he was about 10 minutes out, and let me tell you - this guy was a total lifesaver. Matt was so kind, calm, and professional. He assured us not to stress, and honestly, his positive attitude made the whole experience so much easier. Towed our truck on an illegal call from a HOA, did not call the Sheriff and report the tow within the hour required by law. Truck was reported stolen because the Sheriff did not receive notice of the tow. When I tried to call and speak with Holy City Towing, the person I spoke to said his name was John Hancock and refused to give his real name and said the Sheriff does not know the law regarding towing a vehicle. read more

I would not do business with them. I called there twice just for the dispatcher to promise she would get back to me with an ETA (as if they could actually could and would do the tow job I needed). On two separate occasions she had me waiting forever knowing they didn't have the truck to accommodate the job. Instead of communicating that with me (like she promised both times they were called), she contacted AAA instead and gave them false information in regards to the roadside assistance I requested (and my policy covered). On both occasions I sat there waiting by my vehicle under the assumption it was "being handled", only for me to have to call them back to get a horrible excuse as to why they couldn't get a job done that they would immediately be getting compensated for. The drivers might be decent - but the dispatcher BLOWS. read more

I want to give a shout out to Holy City Towing employees Desiree and David for a great job!!! After waiting 3+ hours for another roadside service company to show up for a dead battery call, we were totally disheartened when the tech couldn't jump the battery and hadn't showed up in a tow truck. The insurance company advised that our service call had been transferred to HCT and the estimated response was 2-3 hours. When I called HCT, Desiree the dispatcher was compassionate to our plight and showed empathy for my 75-year-old mother who was recovering from a recent hip replacement and had already been waiting for 4 hours to get her car towed back to the dealership. Desiree explained in the most professional way possible that there were numerous calls ahead of ours since we had just been transferred over to HCT but added that she would try and make our wait a little shorter. Desiree further advised that a driver already near our location was about to pick up and tow a vehicle several miles down the road and she would ask him to come to us after the drop off. After approximately 40 minutes we were elated when an HCT tow truck pulled into the lot. The driver, who identified himself as Dave, was both friendly and professional. Dave assured us that it was unnecessary for us to go to the dealership since he would tow the vehicle to their lot and leave the key in the drop box. We can't thank Holy City Towing enough for their employees who made a terrible day end on a better note because of their compassion, professionalism, and friendliness. read more

Aaa arranged for my flat tire to be repaired by holy city towing at 4:30 this morning. It's after 8 AM and I have not been contacted by holy city nor has Aaa Aaa been able to get any information from them. What a waste of time and energy. It seems like Aaa is good for nothing but really I think it's holy city that is the culprit here. Unless you are looking to finished at 800 page novel without interruption and an excuse to miss work call someone else. This company is unresponsive irresponsible and a waste of time. read more

I was referred to Holy City towing based upon a call to Lexus and then a transfer to AAA, their provider, to transport my vehicle to the dealership. I received several automated calls and texts throughout the day highlighting the time of arrival for the tow service. It went from 75 minutes, 30 minutes, to 50 minutes, to the tow service is on the way. Six hours later the tow service operator called me to state he was stuck in traffic and would be there in 20 minutes. He further said he had to respond to an accident eariler in the day. Understand the process of requesting tow service began at 130p in the afternoon with the final call at almost 7pm that evening. At that point I asked the service operator if he could pick up the vehicle the next day because the dealership was closed. I also asked if I would have to call the request in again. The tow service operator said, "no, he would notify dispatch that he would pick up my vehicle between 8am - 830am." I also explained the vehicle was only 2 years old and it appeared to be an electronics issue which kept it from starting. The tow service operator said he would have to "google" how to start the vehicle. But, guess what no call, no show the next day, after he said I didn't need to call in the service request again!!! If I am ever referred to Holy City again, I will decline. A business that cannot meet their mission does not deserve to be in business. I will inform AAA and Lexus. As customers, all we ask is that service providers do their jobs! read more

I spent all morning explaining to the dispatcher that my vehicle wouldn't start and couldn't be put in neutral, and they confirmed that a special flatbed would be dispatched and not to worry. After 2 hrs what showed up was a truck driven by a less than professional driver who didn't know how to proceed. I had to wait an additional 2.5hrs for my insurance co. to transfer the job to another provider to complete the tow. Props to Always Towing for doing it right the first time. This is a horrible company. They are contracted by AAA and they never make it to the tow on time. Two times drivers were expected to show and came over an hour late. Both times the drivers were unavailable by phone until their field supervisors were called and then it was an additional 30 mins for their driver to show up. They claimed their "apps" weren't working both times." Very poor customer Service. read more
