We were very wrong. For one, Joey lied about the damage AND the time it would take to fix my car, they lied about technician's being sick, and when parts would arrive, and they lied about parts arriving. We started personally texting Joey, apparently the general manager of this Classic Collision. Joey told us things that just weren't true. He lied about what was left on the "final days" of work on my car. They had my car for over TWO MONTHS and just kept lying to us, until finally we got to speak to a very nice and helpful technician who was physically working on my car. He said that they were still waiting on a part and that the guys working the front tend to panic when cars aren't done so they just pull sh!t out of their ass when their not done by the ai generated due date. We got tired of talking to the people at the North Charleston Classic Collision, so we got ahold of the person above Joey, Pax. Pax is incredibly helpful and made everything right by giving a Chevrolet Malibu as a rental and when we went on our honeymoon to Tennessee, Pax rented us an 4x4 Jeep Grand Cherokee and he competed the deductible. Joey had false promises to us that it would be done by September 19th (our wedding day) which was not correct. They still continued to lie to us and extend our pick up ELEVEN TIMES over TWO MONTHS. To be completely honest, I personally believe that they tried to take advantage of us since me and my fiancé are fairly young. But, obviously we weren't going to leave the issue alone because we are paying on the car, so why the hell would you still continue to lie to us about it???? What makes this even worse is the accident was NOT my fault. It would've been great if they were just honest about parts not being able to arrive in transit or be late due to parts being complicated to ship, but to blatantly lie about it is absolutely beyond me. I will never use this Classic Collision again but, I do want to thank Pax again for making the situation right and taking it into his own hands. He is the only reason this location is getting 2 stars.

I went to a few places for and estimate to revitalize the black paint and make it look new again. (You know? A great paint job). I picked this business because of the $1750 price tag compared to $3500 from another professional establishment. I got the car painted in May. The owner Dennis Purnell ensured me that the car would be like new once I received it back. He asked for half up front and half on delivery. He had the car for a week. When I came to pick up the car I found drip marks, cigarette butts in the ashe trey, painted over dents & scratches, and UNPAINTED PARTS OF THE CAR. (DOOR HANDLES, DOOR JAMS AND MIRRORS) that were totally obvious and visible to see. He promised to correct the issues with the car. I scheduled times to correct the issues but he evaded me for 5 months. I finally dropped the car off on October 21. Between these dates he came up with all kinds of excuses including: The car dryer is broken and have to order a new one. I've found more mistakes so it's going to be another day. Not today, tomorrow. Found more flaws. I broke your key. I received my car back on November 11th (ALMOST A MONTH). When I got the car back it was in an adjacent parking lot, smeared with spray wax (rush job, promised to "detail the car"), dead battery, broken bluetooth mic, and broken key taped together. I was lost for words, I called him, he wouldn't answer. I texted him and he didn't reply. I sent him pictures of the work, no reply, I let him know that I would be filing against him, he replied," (Guess I'll see you in court)". I personally have had to take the car to be waxed and buffed to correct the issues. Still looks horrible. I have begun the steps to take legal action against the owner to let him know that this will not be accepted in the state of SC. I have pictures but Google has no option to post pics. I will try on other venues to help protect other customers from this sub par business. I am personally going on a campaign to advertise the type of service Dennis Purnell offers to his customers utilizing all legal resources. All the reviews on the website are a lie!

There are a few touchups here and there, but small compared to the quality. They offer a full warranty on their service and paint, even for the custom work I was looking for. Not many body shops know how to paint textured plastic, so when they said they knew how to do it, I knew I had to go with them, Their prices were really reasonable as well. The only downside to getting my SUV done from Pro Tek was the quoted timeline. They originally quoted me 4 days, but it actually took 1.5 weeks. It was tough without a car to get around with.

When I brought this to their attention they joked about it and told me that GEICO will probably deny covering any additional repairs to my taillights. They then proceeded to convince GEICO that it wasn't their fault even though the taillights weren't accumulating water before I took my car to this location. Now I have to figure out how to fix my taillights on my own dime. I do not recommend this location.
