This will be my second time using CWF. And the quality of service has gone way down hill. And this is not a review bashing a business, but my actual experience. Two years ago I had my 2019 f150 fully tinted. All windows and the windshield. And they did an amazing job. Phone calls were answered to set my appointment, there was no waiting the day of my appointment, and they did a high quality job for my install. Fast forward to now, i had a windshield replaced and needed my window retinted and it was boarderline a nightmare. It was almost impossible to have someone answer the phone to even set up the appointment . The day of my appointment, I came in at my scheduled time only to wait in the lobby well over 4 hours with other guest, some who had to wait even longer than I did. Only to come back another day for them to also install the Brow i ordered as well. When i got to my truck after the first time there was still scraps from cutting the tint film on my floor boards, and luckily i have all weather mats because the floor was very wet. Also not a bash, but the installer broke my vent mounted cell phone holder and only told me about it after i asked where it was. Fast forward about a week i came back to have my freshly tinted window retinted because the cuts didn't fit the window and there were bubbles that were not going away. The second time the window was tinted was better but i still am not completely satisfied. The hand cut portions still have very sloppy cuts. It was good enough to hold me over until i either sell the vehicle or have to tint the window again. read more

Terrible service! Very unprofessional I've never seen anyone leave such a mess. Windows were tinted on completely clean car, just detailed and waxed, water and who knows what was running all over inside. Definitely do not recommend! read more

I had xpel clear ppf applied to my Toyota Land Cruiser in 2021. I had to return 3 times to have it reapplied right after it was applied in 2021. The first application they scratched my bumper with a knife used to cut the ppf and it was obvious. No mention of it was made and no apology given. I asked for the warranty information 3 separate times and it was never given. The owner is a complete clown. It is now 2023 and I'm at Sunstoppers in mount pleasant and I'm getting a piece fixed that is peeling up on the headlight. Their installer just showed me how and where they had cut all into the paint on the install back in 2021. DO NOT USE CHARLESTON WINDOW FILMS!! read more

A very pleasant experience. Was going to give this 4*s because a 30-45 minute wait turned into a 2 hour event, but it was a very busy day, and they more than compensated and handled the situation well. So why the full 5 stars? After searching and searching and searching for a tint shop from Summerville to West Ashley, found many good contenders, but CWF was by far the best. 1. They provide a premium product. 2. Upfront and transparent pricing. 3. They stand behind their work. I went with the Huper Optik ceramic tint, after considering FormulaONE Pinnacle (There is no Stratos it seems in Charleston yet), and Llumar CTX from other shops. At the end of the day I felt the value of the HO was the best. The heat rejection is definitely worth it and a warranty that is second to none. I cant wait until I go back and get the rest of the vehicle done, along with the Ceramic Pro option. Thanks Guys read more

The worst window tint place in all of Charleston. DO NOT GO HERE. They have terrible customer service, they outsource their materials for pennies on the dollar from china. I got my car back from the shop and it reeked of pot and cigarettes. The tint was all fucked up and had countless bubbles in it. I asked for a refund but the owner told me that they don't do refunds. Awful place. read more

Got my car windows done today at the Bacons Bridge location (I don't see an option for that location on here?). Overall I had a great and fast experience. The real test will be the next week or so to ensure that all bubbles will go away as expected but so far so good read more

Charleston Window Films did work on two of my cars and my home office and I can't recommend them enough. Their prices are fair, they worked quickly, showed up on time, and the quality of the film and application seems top notch. They also stand by their work and include a warranty against defects or improper installation. Highly recommended. read more

Don't go to the one in West Ashley. I'd give them a 0 if I could. Wasted over a month here just trying to get my windows tinted. Girl at the front desk is clueless and the owner doesn't care about his customers at all. I was given the owner's phone number after my tint was messed up twice and the owner never answered the phone or called me back. Left my car there all day after the owner told me I was "first priority" then picked it up and all they had done was take the messed up tint off. Glue was still all over the windshield and my car. Save yourself time and money and go to a place that actually cares and does good work. read more

My experience at Charleston window films was great! I got 20% on my sides and back window which was only $300! The quality of the film is great, I chose to go with the XR due to the film's better heat rejection than CS and it's holding up great, the staff were very friendly and very efficient. I was in and out within an hour and forty-five minutes! read more

I took my Mercedes to get the windows tinted. Not only did they get me an appointment for the very next day after I called to get a quote, they were very professional, they did it quickly, and they did an amazing job. I chose the ceramic tint and it made my car look even better than I thought possible. An added bonus, it helps make my car much cooler during these very hot summer days. I will recommend CWF to anyone who wants to get there car windows tinted. They also do boats, home windows, and commercial businesses. read more

Quick service, friendly staff and awesome work! Highly recommend this place for all of your tint needs!!

Yesterday I got my car tinted at Charleston Window Films, and I am amazed at how awesome my car looks! My little civic hasn't looked this great since I bought it in 2013! The tint looks so great I feel like I have a whole new car! I've wanted my car tinted since I bought it back in IL, but I never knew where to go to get it done. I had heard a couple people that I know in the Charleston area tell me how great their experience was at CWF and I decided to go there, and I am so happy that I did! The gentleman that helped me and installed the tint on my car, Joel and Antun, were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and professional! I came in not knowing exactly what I wanted and they helped me to find the perfect tint for me that was dark enough while still being legal. Even though I walked in without an appointment, they were able to fit me in and finish the tinting quickly, while still providing exceptional service! I highly recommend CWF! No wonder they were voted best in Charleston!! read more
