I did not receive a proper introduction from the person assigned to my repair, no clear explanation of the process, and no proactive walkthrough of the damage or repair plan. I had to initiate contact myself after the estimate was uploaded because important accident-related damage was not clearly addressed. The initial handling of my concerns was dismissive and unprofessional. I had to question why tire/rim damage and other visible accident-related damage were not included or properly discussed. My vehicle had been towed because it did not feel safe to drive after the accident, yet I had to push for the tire and wheel concerns to be taken seriously. State Farm/appraisal had to get involved before certain disputed damage was addressed. Better Collision kept my vehicle for approximately a month. When I finally picked it up, the repair was still not complete. A chrome trim piece was missing from the vehicle, and the cracked front grille/fascia that had been documented as part of the accident damage had not been replaced. That should have been caught before the vehicle was ever released back to me. A basic final quality-control inspection should have identified both issues. Since then, I have had to continue chasing Better Collision to fix the unresolved cracked grille/fascia. I have made calls, sent emails, and contacted State Farm twice about this issue. I had an appointment scheduled for Friday, July 31, 2026, and left work early to attend it. When I arrived, the staff member I spoke with was not even aware that I had an appointment, and I was told Chris was not there. At this point, it has been roughly three months since the repair process began, and I am still trying to get Better Collision to complete something that should have been handled before my vehicle was returned to me. This experience has shown a serious lack of communication, follow-through, quality control, and accountability. Customers should not have to repeatedly chase a repair shop to finish accident-related repairs, especially after the shop has already had the vehicle for an extended period of time. Based on this experience, I would not return to Better Collision and would not recommend them for collision repairs.

I received quotes from a couple of places that would only remove the film with no guarantee that it wouldn't damage the paint. Maaco removed the film and took down to the metal before repainting. They matched the rest of my truck perfectly for the same price that others wanted just to remove the film. The new paint has a three year warranty. I'm really pleased with the job they did. I have heard more excuses than I can count. Employee turnover, mechanics shop, parts not arriving, wrong parts arriving, car is back from mechanic, just body work needs to be completed, car is NOT out of the mechanics shop. The delay is costing me a small fortune in car rental. Save yourself a VERY LARGE HEADACHE AND DO NOT USE CALIBER COLLISION, AT LEAST NOT THIS LOCATION! **Update**- Just received a TEXT from Caliber, they didn't even have the courtesy to call, now estimated date of completion is 2/28/24, almost 4 MONTHS!!!! Totally unacceptable.
